801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: March 01, 2014, 08:15:18 PM
Even if WOLF went up to 0.04 BTC per coin

Even?! That's all you expect?  Tongue

My personal expectations don't come in to it Smiley I just said a figure that equated to a $10m market cap (~540000*0.04*500 [all-wolf*wolf_btc*btc_usd]=~$10m)

(all: for updates + discussion see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=471166.msg5438847#msg5438847 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=471166.msg5449872#msg5449872 )

Expect more than 10 BTC from myself in the next 24 hours

805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 01, 2014, 06:12:28 PM
50 blocks left.

About 25 minute left before mining permanently stops..
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 01, 2014, 05:49:34 PM
We're not even close to block 9000 in PoW. 9800 is a combination of PoW and PoS blocks. Don't be fooled.

Yes, PoS staking also show up in the blockchain as 'blocks'.

So when will mining be over for PoW? What block? Any one know?
This line from the source code should make it self-explanatory:

Code:
static const int LAST_POW_BLOCK = 10000;

if (IsProofOfWork() && nHeight > LAST_POW_BLOCK)
return DoS(100, error("AcceptBlock() : reject proof-of-work at height %d", nHeight))

Right so it really ends in 100 blocks...

Cool Smiley Hopefully MoooooooN

I invested 0.3BTC at 1100. Usually I wouldn't even attempt stuff like this, but hey, this is a one time experiment... Who knows what happens?

Sellers will basically control the entire market..
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 01, 2014, 05:46:59 PM
Current block is 9890 and outstanding coins are 73,921,076. We are going have ~25% less coins than expected when PoW ends?

Yup. Source code confirms that. If nHeight of block (PoS or PoW) is higher than 10000 and block is PoW, then it's not valid

BlackCoin has been added to P2Pool.org!

To view the pool stats visit:
http://p2pool.org:48336/

To mine BC point your miner to:
http://p2pool.org:48336

Use your BC wallet address as the username and anything for a password.

Example BFGMINER config:
bfgminer --scrypt -o http://p2pool.org:48336 -u address -p password

Happy Mining!

Youre late

Obvious pump coming in the next few hours/days

Yeah, it's so obvious. Pump BC and let the 100 top rich list dump on you. Seriously?

There is no pump incoming. If there's one, there will also be a massive dump.

Hahaha. Nice try. No one wants to buy your BC. Dump them while you can.

After mining ends what is the point of holding BC?

Take a quick look at Mintcoin. There's your answer.
