Try Bitsolo.net.  It's far easier and you get the benefits of a pool to help.

Yes, check this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=454808.0   especially page 28.  He usually gets the best deals with Bitmain first. Roll Eyes
But always do your own research.

Just changed my Shorts!  Great pricing and first clear explanation of the differences between the AM-V1X1.  Thanks for the great pricing! Shocked
811  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 22, 2014, 05:15:12 AM
But alas all of the last Rockminers have just been upgraded models.  Granted this price range is where they'll sell the most units for profit.  It just seems that shiny new Rockminer from last week has a new upgraded model, doh!  Someday soon I hope conferences become more widespread so us non traveling types could go.  Hope you enjoyed, it would be like going to a Star Wars convention for me....drool.
812  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Pointless? ? ? on: July 19, 2014, 05:54:42 PM
Thats like converting gold to silver.  Scrypt probably will never get anywhere near the value of Bitcoin.
813  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: jdany's mining on: July 19, 2014, 04:11:16 AM
It's alright, pass by a lil place everyday that would be perfect for a hosting center in Washington State @09 cents a kw.  It does take more thought and a firm investment strategy and backing to open it to others.  Maybe find some local bitcoin miners to help invest and then ask general public after you have things running and see the costs.

Ah yeah!!!

Raspberry-Pi Model B+ just launched!
http://www.raspberrypi.org/introducing-raspberry-pi-model-b-plus/

MICRO SD card, 4x USB ports and the ports are on 2 sides vs. 3 on the model B.

Trying to get my hands on one so I can test print my case design  Shocked Grin Cool
I only imagine your one of the first to do so.  I'd buy one from you when you design it.  I'm buying one tomorrow.

Where you picking yours up from mate? I am undecided where I am going to purchase from  Grin
Haven't looked any further than Amazon.  Just mad it hasn't been added to Prime shipping yet.     http://www.amazon.com/Raspberry-Pi-Model-Plus-512MB/dp/B00LPESRUK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405656561&sr=8-1&keywords=raspberry+pi+b%2B
815  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 18, 2014, 03:54:40 AM
The S1's beeped if they lost connection to the pool or internet, must be an ip conflict like discussed earlier.

R4 is listed on the website now.  They just keep upgrading the same rig with better cooling and housing.
818  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: jdany's mining on: July 18, 2014, 02:12:15 AM
Your post is vague at best.  Are you simply telling us what you have and want us to help?  Or are you hosting and at what cost per month?  I to like the Garden Miners and am about to purchase now they have double the size.
819  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [OPEN] ASICPuppy.net - BTCGarden AMV1($299.99) R-Box($59.99) RocketBox($569.99 on: July 17, 2014, 04:12:21 PM
Sold out of AM-V1 units. I should have AMV1X2 units in stock soon(4 blade unit)

Also, I added wifi support to the BTCGarden image so I can test units in my kitchen. I've tested with 3 units running at 930gh/s and no issues. I haven't tested with the rock miner image, but they are both built off of the standard raspbian img, so it should work there as well. Just don't use the manufacturers network configuration pages after making this change.

How to add dhcp and wifi compatibility to your raspberry pi image (Tested with $9 edimax wifi adapter):

1) Plug in Ethernet cord and SSH into your raspberry pi

2) Run the following command to open the network interface config in nano (or use vim if you are a bit nerdier)

Code:
sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces

3) Modify the contents of the file as follows(ctrl-x then Y to save):

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet dhcp

auto wlan0
allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid "YOUR_WIFI_SSID_HERE"
wpa-psk "YOUR_WIFI_WPA_PASSWORD_HERE"

4) Power off your pi

Code:
sudo poweroff

5) Remove ethernet cord

6) Start Raspberry pi and use your router config or an application like angryip to scan for the RPi's new address.
Thanks for work you do.  Awaiting these v2 btcgardens.  How soon, a couple days?  And will pricing be close to manufacture price?  Hate ordering from China.
820  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 16, 2014, 04:58:25 AM
Is this really the R4 2 units bundled together in one case?  Expected a lil more than that.   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393218.0

It is just 2 R3s in one case. nothing else changed.
But is this what we can assume it will be.  Waiting to place an order with you but so many options for 300-500 ghs miners.  Waiting for the best options for 2 th.  Was kinda glad I waited on first batches of S3's.
