801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to negative thinkers and innocent minds. Prove to them! on: June 19, 2017, 11:41:26 AM
Just simply leave those negative thinkers in their way.No need to prove them.Just keep on working in bitcoins for your progress. After some time, they would get astonished by seeing your achievements in your life through bitcoins.Life would teach the greatest lesson for them.
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: June 19, 2017, 11:35:11 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency uncontrolled by any authority. So,there is no such organization to do such advertising programs on T.V or other medias.Earlier bitcoin enthusiasts like Roger ver spent lots of money for bitcoin advertising but, later they became bitcoin antichrist to work against bitcoin growth. The only thing we could do is that we can advertise about bitcoins in social media.Thats the smallest contribution we could do for bitcoin progress.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2017, 11:27:28 AM
I am splitting my bitcoin holdings one part for needs and other part is future investment . For me I can use half of my current holding when the actual  need for money and other half I will keep for future so that I don't regret in oth cases if price goes up and down I will be satisfied
Thats really a great and practical idea.I am also going to implement the same plan here after.Bitcoin price has been constantly increasing for the past six months from $850 to nearly $2530.No one would be ready to spend bitcoins for normal things except for desperate needs.Holding bitcoins would give huge returns.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: June 19, 2017, 11:10:33 AM
Like gold, bitcoin is used as an investment. It gives more returns than gold.It has been used as a currency in early stages. But now, after its price has increased very high,it is mostly bought as an investment. In the same time,it is also used to buy products mostly online. In future,if transaction fee problem is solved,it would be even used to buy daily need products.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: June 19, 2017, 10:53:39 AM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I store my bitcoins in my Electrum wallet on my computer.I have been using it for the past three years. No security issues. We can set our fee manually for every transaction as per the market conditions. We could even recover our account if we forget our password through the seed generated.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 19, 2017, 10:45:11 AM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
The only problem with bitcoins is the high transaction fee.Other than that, there is no security issue about over investment being hacked.Since it is pseudo anonymous, governments would not find problem in legalizing it since transactions could be easily traced out.No other altcoin has the potential to replace bitcoin.
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: June 18, 2017, 05:57:37 AM
As soon as majority of the world is informed and knows about digital currency, what do you think will happen? No matter how good it sounds to traditional banking, how much of the population will make cryptocurrency grow?
More people are aware of bitcoin today yet there are people of considerable volume who don't know about bitcoin. If every one knows about bitcoin, its demand would increase more increasing its price as bitcoin supply is limited.Bankers would lose their control over the society more.More unemployed people would get opportunity to earn through bitcoin.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin needs to die on: June 18, 2017, 05:45:40 AM
What use is Bitcoin if in 9 years you cant even buy groceries with this shit

You cant build a business on bitcoin because of the volatility and even if you try to runa business on bitcoin you have to wait forever for a transaction to be sent

whats the point of bitcoin, if you cant do anything with this shit?
First,Bitcoin is not created to buy groceries.Bitcoin is volatile since it is not controlled by any central authority and it exactly reflects the price in accordance with the increase and decrease in demand for bitcoin. Its the wonderful technology which has made possible for even a normal person to transact without involving banks. At last,if you really don't like bitcoin, you better leave this forum forever.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin getting huge in South Korea on: June 18, 2017, 05:38:29 AM
First,it was considered that Japan would play a dominant position in bitcoin. But surprisingly, south korea started to gain attention globally due to its high increase in demand for bitcoin.Last week, when bitcoin was traded at $2800 world wide, bitcoin was sold at $4,500 in south korean exchanges. It seems that soon south korea would become a technology hub.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 18, 2017, 05:11:26 AM
Bitcoin is no more economical for smaller amount transactions. It could be only used for higher amounts.New merchants are not coming forward to accept bitcoin payment due to late transactions.People too prefer to use bitcoin as an investment rather than as a currency.Higher transaction fees are also indirectly promoting people to use bitcoin as an investment only.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: June 18, 2017, 04:58:24 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
If there is no demand to buy bitcoins, then bitcoin would eventually die. But,with the ever growing increase in demand for bitcoins, its highly impossible for such a situation to occur. But,in future, may be after twenty years, when quantum computing would be introduced, bitcoin may die.But we could hope that essential preventive measures would be taken to avoid such disaster.
812  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Whether the money from the proceeds in bitcoin will be subject to income tax? on: June 18, 2017, 04:53:59 AM
If it is true income from bitcoin will be subject to income tax, about what percentage and what is your response?
Now more countries like China and Russia are coming forward to regulate bitcoin. If it occurs, surely bitcoin earnings would be taxed. But the percentage of taxes may differ for each and every country as per their laws. But,it cannot be avoided in future.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Complete Garbage!!! on: June 17, 2017, 02:16:00 PM
Since article was 5 years old, I would not say Bitcoin is a complete Garbage now because there are lot of people now that change their lifestyle because of Bitcoin including me. This is a prove that Bitcoin is very innovative, bitcoin 5 years had a lot of changes from Bitcoin today.
That was an old article and its out of date. Many people would have had that kind of view when bitcoin was in its early stage. But today bitcoin has proven its potential many times despite the continuous actions taken by the bankers and governments to destroy bitcoin.Bitcoin has changed the world economy in a revolutionary way and it has become a life changer not only to me but to many unemployed youth too.Today,a person who says bitcoin as garbage would be looked as a garbage.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 17, 2017, 02:07:24 PM
Banks and bitcoin reflect different sectors of the society.Banks get deposits from the people, lend it as loans to others and charge interests for it.Also it gets revenue from transactions.Banks would exist until it runs profitably.Banks would suffer due to government policies regarding currencies.Bitcoin is a P2P system where money is sent without indulging banks.Bitcoin is uncontrolled by any government authority. Its price would only increase due to its limited supply of 21 million coins. The only place where banks and bitcoin clash is the transaction section where bitcoin fee is much less than bank charges. But only low transaction charge could not be a valid reason to completely make banks disappear from the society. So banks would still continue to exist.

816  Economy / Speculation / Reason for Bitcoin price fall on: June 15, 2017, 11:17:45 AM
Do any body know the exact reason for fall of bitcoin price? It has almost fallen $500 in the past three days.Any specific reason?
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you enjoying the crazy Bitcoin price rise? on: June 14, 2017, 10:53:39 AM
Bitcoin was supposed to free people from fiat money slavery.
How many of us are now slaves to intense greed, expecting easy money, etc?

Most people cannot use BTC for moderate amounts of value since the fees are way too high, but the Bull marches on, and on.
Are you enjoying the crazy Bitcoin price rise? Does it feel "different" compared to the previous big moves?
Just like others,i am also enjoying the bitcoin price rise.Bitcoin price was around $850 in december 2016 and now its price is $2700.We are leading towards financial freedom independent of any one.No more boring jobs.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: June 14, 2017, 07:12:36 AM
That seems to be a practical idea which could be worked out.Bitcoin was around $850 in December 2016.Now within six months,it has almost trippled and now its price is around $2700.This idea could be applied instead of investing in altcoins and risking our entire investment.
819  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: June 14, 2017, 06:58:44 AM
Everyone would like the bitcoin is accepted in all online and real stores and, as as mentioned in the title, what would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency?
People would get more confident in using bitcoin since it has been made legal.Demand for bitcoins would rise and probably, its price would rise high.Tax would be levied on bitcoin earnings.Banks would loose more revenues which they get from money transactions.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if you are just investing in Bitcoin now, you're an early adopter or innovator on: June 14, 2017, 06:35:03 AM
We are not early adopters.Early adopters were those who bought bitcoins in 2010 to 2013.We are also not late comers.Instead,we could say ourselves as middle men. There is lots of progress more to come in bitcoins and we too would enjoy benefits along with early birds. But the early adopters are very much blessed enough since they laid trust on bitcoins when no one believed that it would survive and i think they deserve for what they enjoy today with such a huge bitcoin price.
