804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 11:11:57 AM
I did signup for the airdrop, and wish to receive my tokens soon.
However, how is this "The new bitcoin"? I see many tokens nowadays come without any new innovation from the dev team and im wondering what makes you think that your token is different from them.
Don't take me wrong, im just questioning the idea behind this. Are you going to use BTC's blockchain somehow in a way that it has not used on Ethereum before or what?
Also it's easy to claim your airdrop many times, so i think you should limit the airdrop for certain user accounts on bitcointalk. For example i could login to different VPN servers and claim the drop with different throwaway emails and ETH addresses, so you might want something more secure and fair as distribution.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Getting More Address from 1 Seed on: September 27, 2017, 10:23:39 AM
It is possible on electrum, however im not sure why do you need so many addresses from one seed Tongue
Would help alot if you told us what wallet you are using, at least the following would be the procedure for electrum.
Open up console from "View" -> "Show console".
Then write the following there.

Code:
wallet.storage.put('gap_limit', 50)
wallet.storage.write()

Replace the 50 with the amount of addresses that you want, but remember that many thousand addresses can and will make your electrum very slow.
After you are done entering the commands, restart electrum and you will have many addresses there. However if you ever restore the seed on some wallet, you'll only have 50 addresses or so on as far as i know.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Lite - Decentralized True Lite Version Of Bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 08:20:27 AM
Any new updates on this project? It has been very silent recently, so im wondering about the upcoming bounties for example.
Will the bounties only consist of social bounties, or will there be anything for example signatures?
I think we also need better exchanges, because yobit are a really shady exchange.
If you are serious about this coin, you'll need to start building community for it like discord, slack etc.
807  Economy / Services / Re: [Free]▂▃▅▆█ Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator █▆▅▃▂ for Unconfirmed transactions . on: September 26, 2017, 06:31:16 PM
Your transaction has been accelerated . It was unconfirmed when I tried accelerating it .

Thanks, confirmed!
Took a while to confirm, however the pool did not find any blocks, which caused the transaction to take more than usually.
However if CoolWave wasn't so cool, my transaction would still hang unconfirmed. On average, i guess the transaction would be confirmed within an hour, so would totally recommend this service to everyone.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZeroNet Coin - 100% Premined 100% Free ICO Airdrops on: September 26, 2017, 04:03:05 PM
Thanks Received!
However i do not quite understand what zeronet has to do with this token, since it is not officially supported by it (at least nothing mentioned on their site). So what is the idea behind this, and why was it made if it is not supported by developer team of ZeroNet and the OP gives impression like that. I think that should be added to the OP that you are not affiliated with ZeroNet.
809  Economy / Lending / Re: New To Bitcoin, Small Loan? on: September 26, 2017, 02:17:36 PM
You are accusing me of fraud and slandering my reputation.

What reputation are you talking about right now? You don't have any reputation here Roll Eyes

I have never made any other account and I am actually new.

There is no way to prove this, and it does not matter.

I just wanted the $1 because it seems that most bitcoin mining services require some sort of payment.

Cloud mining is not profitable, and also are most often scams. Mining is done by users with SHA-256 ASIC's, which cost quite alot (alot more than 1$).

I am only 15 so this is my first experience with virtual currency. Is any of this wrong or bad? I don't know how much $1 can help but it can't hurt me, can it?

Lending to underage is illegal on most countries, so no one is gonna lend you anything. Also it cannot hurt you, but it can hurt the lender if you default (which i think you were planning all the way).

I can't buy it myself because my parents are staunch democrats and pro-fed and they hate bitcoin, they said I can open an account and buy bitcoin in a few years. I just want support man, I'm not being malicious

Sounds like a made up story, no one is gonna support that. Do yourself a favor and forget about it, the lock button is located at the left side of bottom of the page.

But of course, if you are being serious about this, you can exchange giftcards over at Currency exchange section of the forum, buy BTC with cash from atm or you can search for a cash to BTC trade over at Localbitcoins.
810  Economy / Lending / Re: New To Bitcoin, Small Loan? on: September 26, 2017, 12:34:27 PM
How is 1 USD gonna help you, why are you not buying bitcoin if you are interested on it?
You don't get any satoshi without collateral, since you just made an account and now you ask for 1 USD. Everyone would do that if they got a free dollar everytime.
Im pretty sure you already know what bitcoin is, and what you can do with it since you started to beg on the first post that you came here.
Lock your thread, since you are wasting our time and your time, no matter how many new accounts you make, you won't still get a dime.
811  Economy / Services / Re: [Free]▂▃▅▆█ Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator █▆▅▃▂ for Unconfirmed transactions . on: September 26, 2017, 12:25:53 PM
My TX is not many days old, but i sent it with too low fee and suddenly mempool got full and blocks are not anywhere to be found.
It's kind of urgent, so would you mind accelerating this?
Would appreciate it alot and can provide a review of the service as well as the first person Smiley

812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Auto restart bitcoind after crash on Ubuntu server on: September 26, 2017, 12:16:49 PM
First of all you'll need to add bitcoind as a service (if you want, it will start every time that you start your computer): Ubuntu Linux — How do I start bitcoind as a service to run automatically?

You'll need to setup a crontab or something similar, since bitcoin daemon does not have such any kind of method for restarting the daemon after crash.
Here is basically a copy paste guide for restarting the daemon every time after crash How To Use a Simple Bash Script To Restart Server Programs.

However the bash script would go as something like this:
Code:
#!/bin/sh

ps auxw | grep bitcoind | grep -v grep > /dev/null

if [ $? != 0 ]
then
        /bitcoind start > /dev/null
fi

Im assuming that by root directory you mean that the bitcoind file is on the root folder which would be /.
I hope this is helpful, so far this kind of solutions is only one that i have found.

815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Linda coin- Best Masternode Coin - Earn up to $500 in Bitcoin on: September 25, 2017, 02:04:27 PM
Links for registration are available now, link for translation coming soon

Great, did i do this right or?:

Looks great! Can i reserve the "Wallet staking screenshot Tutorial = $30 for English Langauage". Also interested on the " 4. Video Tutorial How to set up Masternode= $100 for English Langauage" if possible.
I do not have any Lindacoin, but i will provide a tutorial about how to start staking on the wallet.
Please let me know if i can reserve the spot for that, and i'll get on the task right away Smiley

It's confusing since on registration page it says "Screenshot Tutorial link *" meanwhile you say on the OP: "You must apply and get approved first before you go ahead to do the job.".
Would be more than glad to do the "Wallet staking screenshot tutorial" in english for you, if the spot can be reserved.
Im just little bit confused, that's it. Im able to complete the tutorial within 12 hours for you.

817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AUTHORSHIP TOKENS EXCHANGE? on: September 25, 2017, 09:23:36 AM
You can sell it here:
https://etherdelta.com/#ATS-ETH

Buy better you keep this coins for at least a year. Than you can earn much more money!

Woah, those current prices are really low, probably because of people dumping.
The authorship team did fk up, but still i think it is really undervalued.
For example with the last trade price of 0.000055000 ETH/ATS it would mean total of 5500 ETH market cap (roughly 1.574.141$).
So i suggest everyone to wait before selling, these current prices are just ridicolous if you ask me. I think the dev team mentioned that shorty after the end of the ICO, we will be listed on some bigger exchange.
818  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ BitcoinCampBot ★☆★ Never miss a Bitcointalk campaign again! ** FREE TRIAL! on: September 25, 2017, 06:31:05 AM
If 1 paid customer is many to you... I said indefinite means at least 2 months of active service and these have been accomplished.

I'm closing it because I run it with my own funds and it's going nowhere... minus revenue.

If 9 USD indefinite for this service was expensive how much should I have asked? I could ask 5 USD per month still people won't hurry to sign.. everyone wants things for free these days.

As for the signature campaign I'm not running it because I don't have money to pay for it.

How much running this does cost to you? I have some unused VPS credits, which i could help with hosting with.
Or if you don't want to continue running at all, would be nice if you at least released the script of the bot.
Running VPS is cheap. For example from Time4vps, you can get a VPS with the following specs for 7.99€/month:

Code:
CPU: 3 x 2.40 GHz - Intel® Xeon® E5-2640 v4
RAM: 4096 MB - DDR4-2133 ECC REG
HDD: 160 GB - RAID, 300 IOPS
8TB Bandwith - 300 Mbps Port Speed

So i do not see where these costs come from. I do however see the point of why you are stopping this service, but however since your promised a lifetime usage for those who pay, i think refunds would be reasonable or at least compensating in some other way.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEW: Refereum — Game marketing and rewards (Advised by Twitch and Unity3D) on: September 25, 2017, 06:20:35 AM
Something new and unique finally, after bunch of horrible ICO's.
However i think that the tokens are tad too expensive to start with. Any official source that you have been advised by Twitch and Unity3D, since i cannot find any links whatsoever from your site apart from quotes without source. I like the fact that the whitepaper is very informative, and explains pretty much everything that is needed. While you point on marketing, Enjin coin targets making item trading safe without needing for a middleman, so i think if you collabrated, you could do something really great together with their team.
820  Economy / Services / Re: Goo VPN service on: September 25, 2017, 04:02:57 AM
The most of the replies i have seen in this thread, are bad suggestions.
At least Ipvanish has had some complaints in the past, so i wouldn't trust them at all if possible. I wouldn't touch NortonVPN either, because they do not have that much of a userbase and history like other providers. I recommend Private Internet Access personally, because they are trusted and a old provider, keep no logs as proved on a court case, cost only 40$ a year, accept bitcoin, and have reliable servers, accept peer-to-peer. They are a great provider, which you probably want to go for, since they actually care about your privacy unlike most providers do.
