Back to back EPL defeats for Pep Guardiola and City, i know Pep is a tactical genius, but i don't think he got his tactics right this time, it was almost like City were playing for a draw at some point. Arsenal were more daring and i think they deserved the win, i know the match was somewhat 50-50, but i think they controlled the game better and had most of the desire to go on and win the game, which they did.
City have missed Rodri immensely, they have lost the 3 games he missed (vs Newcastle, Wolves and Arsenal), this just goes to show how important the Spaniard is to City. After he lost his head and got sent off against Nottingham Forest, the question was if City would pay for it, which they did. Rodri would be available for their next game against Brighton after the international break, but City are going to have a tough run of big games in the next couple of weeks and we'd have to see how well City react.

Brighton has been pretty bad losing their first game in the Europa League and they haven't been that strong ever since they lost to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup (well to me Chelsea caused their down fall), but last night was a step up for them for getting a draw.
Was thinking they (Brighton) was going to lose that game but they brought up their A game and I think this is going to boost their morale into winning their next EPL game, I hope it happens that it will be easy.
Is not going to be that fun as usual when they win games easily but at this point in time they're going to get things right to get to that winning form in the EPL because it seems they have lost that momentum of trashing any team that comes their way. I'll still blame it on Chelsea for Brighton's lack of form in the EPL, to me is like any team the Blues get a victory against they will lose their form completely.

It's safe to say now that Brighton is slowly getting back to being themselves after their last game against Aston villa in their domestic league and loss to AEK Athens in the first Europa games. I was wondering what went wrong with Brighton the day they played against Aston Villa it was one hell of a game it was a lash of goals on them 6:1 is no joke, I pray they get bank is not just a one-game thing but normally everyone knows how the premier league is its always tough and rough, you don't dare underestimate anyone at the end of the day you might just get shocked. and AEK Athens won 3:2 against Brighton and even during that game Brighton tried because they had about 15 shots on target which shows that they want to actually win but the third goal was scored making AEK Athens the winner. Marseille is not an easy nut to crack and truly they showed dominance against Brighton yesterday first they had two goals already and the first and second goal was within the space of one minute and I was impressed with how Brighton equalized. and Marseille will be meeting with Le Havre and Marseille will win watching their performance with Brighton. |
