~snip~

Either you didnt read my 3 rules or you don't care. I cannot give someone merit who cannot read and write

I am finding it hard to merit your first post as for reasons I PMed you about
I don't think your last post was on topic, but I agreed with it enough to merit it

I started reading your post history (read all of it), and I find it hard to believe that, that account is your first account, however after going thur your post history I merited 2 other posts that I liked. I truly hope you do not become a signature spammer because you will be a huge hypocrite

~snip~

Either you didnt read my 3 rules or you don't care. I cannot give someone merit who cannot read and write. Reading really is just as important as writing.

Enough activity to be a hero but still a Full member, lol? Huh

~snipe~

Is your first language english? Cause you could have fooled me. I tried to go thur your post history to find good posts but I couldn't, nothing really grabbed me enough to want to keep on reading.
Still sent you 1 merit for 1 post tho

Thanks for this opportunity and it's incourage new members like me for quality post. Here is my 10 post

~snipe~

You make good posts, but what worries me is that once you reach rank you will stop or spam. What stops me from meriting any of your posts that you posted is that I read them and I know that english isnt your second language. So I went thur your post history and I can't believe this, I found 5 posts that I support and I would totally love to see more of. so I merited those instead. You are the winner so far.

Killyou72, I'm not going to hijack your thread, but I just wanted to say I'm going to keep an eye on it.  I'm having a hard time finding posts worthy of merits.  Everything I read lately seems to be in broken English and with the typical bounty shitposting style and content.  It's very frustrating.

Good luck with this, too, because other members have tried offering merits like this and members tend to link to really garbage posts or to a recent post made specifically to earn merit from an offer like this.  So just be careful.

I see a lot of posts worthy of merit, but they all have over 250 merit or they have already been merited.

I am so sick of reading how people say that they can't get merit, if they say that now, I will just direct them to my thread. If they truly cannot get merit its because they are shit posting

I have even started reading different sections of the fourm I have never gone to, just to try to give out merit to no avail
803  Other / Off-topic / Looking to be mertied? Come here on: May 23, 2019, 01:23:12 AM
So I have around 100 earned merit and I realized that I shouldn't hoard it anymore. If you got some good posts link them there, there are no limits to the amount of posts you can link too. But please do not spam But I probably will only merit at the most 5 good/great posts that you post. I will not give any merit to anyone here that has over 250 merit.

So requirements:
READ THIS THREAD BEFORE POSTING
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135441.msg50746086#msg50746086
and
Have under 250 merit
Post a link to an unmerited post that you think deserves to be merited
Post has to be in english

There are no winners in this, but if there were

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2600854;sa=showPosts

^That guy understands how to post good posts

Sorry out of curiosity, is it ok for higher ranked members needing some small certain amount of merit to rank-up to apply?

You can apply but I won't even open your posts to look if you have earned that much, that I am sure you can earn enough to get pushed over. at higher levels the only incentive of a higher rank is a higher paying signature campaign. You applying to me, means you just want to get in a better signature campaign

804  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pros/cons of getting private key tatooed on yourself on: May 23, 2019, 01:12:49 AM
I have been thinking of getting my first tattoo, an encrypted private key on my body. The obvious con is that it does not protect against a $5 wrench. But the pro is I can never loss it.

However I was thinking if I got it small enough, if I was ever kidnapped, would they really see if its in a hidden spot. And could I like scratch or bite it off to destroy it.

Maybe get it hidden in a tattoo?

I think that it should be possible to have the seed words tattooed on your body, as long as you are the only one who knows in what order the seed words have to be used.
To minimize the risk, use a new tattoo shop for each word! and don't tattoo the words in the same order they have to be used in your seed.

Werent there a toooon of brain wallets that were empted at defcon a few years back

I like the prison break tattoo idea.

The idea isn't that theres a better way to save BTC. Its that, no matter what, your btc can be easily spent. If I got it tattooed than the tattoo will be pointless for me to unload it. Its that there is no better way to not spend the btc
805  Economy / Collectibles / Re: looking for casascius 0.1 to 1.0 btc / MS 69 / yello ANACS graded on: May 23, 2019, 12:19:29 AM
These cas dimes are a lot cheaper (And seemingly less desirable)? than they used to be. Back when btc was like 400 USD or so, I paid 2.34BTC for a highly grade dime.  Shocked

I dunno.. They don’t sell often anywhere (hence people are holding on to them) and there’s 3 active buyers right now whom haven’t filled their WTB orders that I know of. I think any Casascius Silver is highly sought after.

Maybe people don't wanna take a btc loss so that's why none are selling.

I wanna make a board buying a cas dime but it's rude to put up a board buying an item when someone else has the same board up

Lo1 1 @ 0.013

lot 2 0.013 btc

I love 24 hours auctions with weird end times. We literally just won this at a cheaper BTC to USD price than these were initially sold for.

0.013 btc is about $100 USD and when these were released they were ~$150 euro according to

If I were you I'd be speaking with a high end auction house here... I mean you're talking minimum of $1m valuation. Given the rarity it's probably more in the region of $3-4m and perhaps as high as $10m if done through the right channels.
I.e. the buyer will want legal assurances you have not somehow got the private key from the thing, perhaps independent inspection.

Chrysties may be a good starting place to reach out to...

It's already been proven you can take the hologram off of a casaius coin and reattach it with only a pin prick on it being able to tell.

KY Jelly, where has this been proven? And...is it the older holograms he used, the ones I believe they hacked at DefCon?

If you already knew why did you Ask? :p

There is the link incase anyone is interested in the read.

You can order ogs coins from his website I believe. He charges an arm and a leg for them.

https://nastyfans.org/mint

Edit I guess they are sold out

I /should/ have one stashed away somewhere I'll check when I'm around that way. If I do, I'll hit you up and just send it out. He gave it to me. I'll give it to you. I'll even cover shipping.

What about funding them with 1 grin, or 10 grin or something like that. Since grin is the only alt coin the fourm supports I think that is a good cause and it is super cheap

I am currently only seeking those with cool serial numbers.
Please PM me if you are selling one that is number 10 and under.

It being marked buyer funded doesn't bother me.

It would also buy a buyer funded one, that is not loaded and still has the hologram intact

Please PM with your prices.

All sales, item will be received by MJ, than you get the btc

When I get pulled over and I have one of these will a cop be able to tell there is no thc in it? And that it's completely legal? Cause in my state it's illegal all around
817  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying up to 2btc on: May 20, 2019, 09:52:22 AM
It might be best for you to list the country you're in actually. The only safe option is to go into the persons bank and make a cash deposit into their account. Almost everything else can be charged back and shouldn't really be trusted as companies anyway in most cases...

You can also send cash in mail, and I think, that if you send MG or WU in person and send cash you can not reverse it after you pick it up.

You could just use localbitcoins like everyone else  Grin sooooometimes they have deals for market rate or even under

0.126 if I can utilise Mantis Prime grading service Wink
Edit: Didn’t see end time. Meh

The auction is/was over you missed it. sorry ;p

not really. I am fucking ecstatic I bought this

per the sniping rule:

SNIPE: Any bid made in last 5 minutes will extend the auction 5 minutes beyond end time OR last bid until no new bids are made.

and my first bid was at :56 and than :58

so that would only extend to 0:05 at the latest
819  Other / Archival / Re: . on: May 19, 2019, 08:58:15 PM
0.123

actually that bid cant be the highest bid because 0.122 was the last bid, and so that means with min increments of 0.124 should be the next valid bid

so assuming that bid is not valid according to the auction terms

my new bid would be the next min inc which would be 0.124
820  Other / Archival / Re: . on: May 19, 2019, 08:56:22 PM
