801  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitstamp investment opportunity at bnktothefuture? Unimpressive... on: December 07, 2016, 07:18:32 AM
Bitstamp is now offering 2% share for some 1.1M EUR https://bnktothefuture.com/pitches/bitstamp
If you make a quick calculation 50*1191870[USD] and divide by daily trading volume of 5M*365 days*0.1% fee, (1191870*50)/(5000000*365/1000)=32.65, so it would take 32 years (or 16 assuming 0.2% avg fee) to pay back. Of course it's likely the volume will go up, however BTC price will do the same  Smiley Therefor I think it's way better to simply buy BTC.
Good calculation and yes its better to buy and keep bitcoin for 32 years rather than keep waiting till you get paid back  Grin

Does bitstamp company valuation is 50M+ EUR? How 1.1M Euro investment only covering 2% of company share  Huh
802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any risk in using Bitcoin over Public WiFi ? on: December 07, 2016, 07:09:06 AM
This is worth to check https://scotthelme.co.uk/advanced-session-hijacking/
Actually i think same types of attack can be done to access victims web wallet account as most of the them use traditional cache and session system to keep user logged in.

So i think accessing bitcoin web wallet over public wifi can be dangerous.
803  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: starting 2017 how can i get 1-2 BTC A Month ( Cloud mining ) on: December 05, 2016, 06:10:51 PM
Again How Much hash power to  1 or 2 BTC a month  ??
Do you actually think that whatever hash power you purchase from cloud mining platform are real or exist in real mining farm?
Its not true, their hash power and mining rig are just virtual or atleast they will not have the same amount of hash rate that they sell to their users. Most of the cloud mining nowadays are just another form of HYIP ponzis.

804  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stupid question about SHIFT card...... on: December 05, 2016, 06:06:32 PM
By using the SHIFT card to use BTC to purchase everyday items from anywhere, ARE WE REALLY contributing to the "spending" of btc or is at all somehow smoke and mirrors that doesn't really help the cause?

Thanks for any responses.

Actually with shift like bitcoin debit cards you are actually converting your bitcoin to fiat which will actually drain away some marketcap from bitcoin which in turn can lower the price per bitcoin. So basically you are not contributing spending bitcoin because it will instantly get converted into fiat for which it have to fill the buy order on any of the trading platform which will actually create sell pressure.

Better you hold your bitcoin if you really like to contribute to bitcoin, because this will limit the supply.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advantages and Disadvantages use cryptocurrency like Bitcoin for online gambling on: December 05, 2016, 05:59:44 PM
Almost all know about the advantages  of using cryptocurrency like bitcoin for online gaming but many may not have realized some of the disadvantages like you can't catch the scam casino site if they ran away with investors money and also if they steal few hundreds bitcoin from players account because most of the bitcoin casino run without any license from authority and also most of them hide their owners details.
806  Economy / Services / Re: G2A [FULL GAMES FOR ONLY 15%] [100% GURANTEED SUCCESS RATE] [EXPERIENCED] on: December 05, 2016, 05:54:42 PM
He wants your G2A account password. Donīt even bother adding him on Skype
Ok that now tells much more about what he actually need.

And also OP offers seems really too good to be true, but even if he can refund back 100% of amount you may not be able to use the game you have purchased after few days.

If anyone willing to take vouch copy from OP can post here about his result, i don't dare to try this.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cooperation play altcoin market poloniex and bittrex on: December 05, 2016, 12:20:00 PM
Sound more like you are talking about private pumper group to manually pump some low volume coin to scam others. You need to have really high bankroll as well as have to use some bots to automate whole trading process but there is also risk of lossing so much if some big bag holder of that coin came to know that the coin he is holding is pumping without any reason, he will just load his coin and dump on peak price before you and your group start selling.  Grin

Many scam coin developer are actually using same strategy you are talking about many times to dump their shit coins on newbie traders.
808  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create bitcoin ads network? on: December 05, 2016, 12:15:53 PM
features will be cheap ads and no fees.
Publishers will be get all money for ads.

This sound more like you are trying to create fully P2P ad network which may fail quite quickly, how you gonna pay running cost if you don't take any fees in middle? and also i don't think there is any ad network script which will have this function in built. You may need to hire some freelancer and develop script with whatever feature you like to have in it.

809  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Learning JS for bitcoin apps on: December 05, 2016, 12:07:41 PM
To learn some basic javascript functions this can also be helpful https://www.codecademy.com/learn/javascript
They also have step by step syllabus structure where you can actually play with codes and see its effect within same window.

I know PHP way better than JS, i will suggest you to have look at angular JS also when you finish learning basic of java. https://angularjs.org/
810  Economy / Exchanges / Re: sale/purchase of bitcoin from India on: December 04, 2016, 05:54:57 PM
i want to purchase btc at low rates, i.e. at international rates. so how i can add money, tell some site or wallet, so that i can add money in that easily and trade.
Find local guy or merchants of perfect money, okpay etc and buy dollar at normal rate. With PM and OKpay you can easily buy bitcoin at market rate+3% around rate. Than sell them in your indian trading platform, i don't think there is any other way for you to simply buy bitcoin with indian rupees at cheaper price/international market rate.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How candlestick analysis. on: December 04, 2016, 05:52:29 PM
There are lot of online resources are available for learning candlestick patterns. Fortunately on my own interest I learned candlestick analysis and I am using it for my bitcoin trading. But not that useful with altcoin trading in my experiences.
Actually i compare altcoin trading as penny stock trading with very high risk of both loss and win.

Bitcoin trading can be considered as forex trading so reading candlestick pattern may help just like it is helping many forex traders from past. However trading market will always remain hard to predict and in case of bitcoin due to very low marketcap, price swing really fast and hard to catch those moves reading charts only.
812  Economy / Gambling / Re: i want invest some Bitcoin . on: December 04, 2016, 08:57:56 AM

For OP have you checked this investment thread by coingamblingreviews this might help you more in choosing which casino to invest to.
I think that thread could be enough for OP to give overall picture of risk vs profit investing into gambling site's bankroll. Profit is really small and also risk of lossing is also low, but profit is not always guaranteed.

I don't have experience of investing in any platform other than moneypot from which i don't get much profit over few months so i finally decided to divest.
813  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Qbitty - Get answers and ask questions using Bitcoin as payment. on: December 04, 2016, 08:50:02 AM
Actually i was not aware about http://www.cryptogrind.com/ too, found it quite interesting and good design.

However it seem bitcoin for best answer niche are getting fulled with one more alternative  Grin
http://www.qbitty.com/ (not accessible)

@sega01 i think answer.market also need some good design, it is pretty plain right now.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From your own selfish perspective, where do you want bitcoin to end up? on: December 04, 2016, 07:49:35 AM
it's a given that everyone here wants bitcoin to make them rich.

what i'm more interested in is what you yourselves want bitcoin to become. do you want it to be accessible to everyone in the world so it becomes a global currency, do you lean more towards gold 2.0, would you prefer it if it stayed under the radar and was the preserve of a knowing in crowd?
I want both of the above, i am trying to hold as much bitcoin as i can earn/buy now so that i can get really good amount in fiat after few years and i think many people want this.

Talking about adoption and accessibility, more adoption means more demand and more demand can simply boost the price of bitcoin due to its limited supply. On the other hand more adoption means bigger community support for bitcoin which will help bitcoin to stay stronger against governmental regulation and Fuds.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a person has millions of Bitcoin and he dies one day................. on: December 04, 2016, 07:43:52 AM
If nobody knows about the bitcoins in his wallet and if they are on some offline wallet then yes, they are lost.

If they are deposited in some online wallet like Coinbase, perhaprs the wallet admins/owners can steal them. Grin

Just kidding about the second idea.
Don't know about coinbase but lots of other online wallets don't have access to users bitcoin because they use client side encryption to encrypt the wallet file and doesn't store passwords.

Best idea is to put paper wallet or hardware wallet in bank's safe deposit box with good amount of insurance and signing the form that this should belong to your family members when you die.
816  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to start seriously talking about a $5000 BTC on: December 04, 2016, 03:04:03 AM
Is it time to start seriously talking about $5000 BTC in the next 3 years?
$5000 per Bitcoin in next 3 years...umm seem reachable not that hard anyway.

The way bitcoin is finding stable point on each rise is nice to see and that also shows price is growing naturally rather than some hype/manipulation making it jump high before dumping hard.
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: The country with the highest demand for gold just outlawed gold. Shit got real. on: December 04, 2016, 02:59:00 AM
If they can ban gold, don't you think they will also ban btc? Why would you want to invest in something that you know is going to be banned?
Bigger question will be how they gonna ban bitcoin? Shut down local bitcoin trading platform or limit the number of bitcoin that can be exchanged per person yearly or monthly?

Both of the above will just force indians to send those bitcoin out of the country and exchange them out of their country. They will be happy to hold USD in foreign banks rather than holding INR in local banks.
818  Economy / Gambling / Re: [$10][Javascript] PrimeDice Script Bot + Method on: December 02, 2016, 05:28:24 PM
what is it really safe, I think the need to see someone try and look back on this thread later if indeed it is a profitable and bot script you work well

Why you are thinking that this bot script can work?

Just think like this, if OP can earn unlimited using small investment with this script why he will be roaming around trying to sell it for small price?  Grin

No any dice bot/script/method can guarantee pure profit in any dice site.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest bitcoin transaction that you have waited? on: December 02, 2016, 05:24:08 PM
I had to wait for almost 2 days few months back to get my transaction confirmed but bitpay doesn't accepted it because it take too long that time period to receive bitcoin was expired however i get those bitcoin back (refunded by them).

I now try to include more than blockchain.info wallet suggest as recommended fee like i put extra 20-30% above the recommended fee which is better than waiting for hours/days to get your transaction confirmed.
820  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins price bump on: December 02, 2016, 05:12:26 PM
The question is, at what point will they dump? - Are you still willing to invest your money?
No one knows at what point there will be dump but after huge price pump for several days like this, there will be small price correction but not dump.

Few weeks ago any price under $700 was considered good price to buy and now <$800 price are being considered best price to buy. So it will never be late to buy more bitcoin, yes i am willing to invest more money when there will be small price correction.  Cheesy
