821  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: June 14, 2018, 09:23:05 AM
Neither bitcoin nor paper money has any real value, but notes have national credit support, and what if bitcoin also gets national credit? The government will lose its macro-control policy but it can also effectively eliminate inflation, two relative ratios. Is that a good result? Of course, I know that the government is very unlikely to support bitcoin, but who knows?

Supporting such thing as always isn't good as always. It would be bad if government support bitcoin and doesn't support the existing currency rather. It is bad because people grew up using the real life currency and it would end up only in confusion if they eliminate the existing currency because at the sametime not all the people have enough knowledge on this kind of stuffs, and in addition people aren't afford to buy technologies to support this thing. Also, bitcoin is not permanent in this world.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is facebook creating their own crypto? on: June 14, 2018, 07:48:32 AM
Heard a rumor that facebook  was thinking about launching their own crypto. What do you guys think about this?

Would also love your feedback on Algebraix. App that keeps your data private and pays you to watch ads. how do you think they will measure up to the advertising giants like facebook and google?

Heard of it not really sure if that was true. Well lots of companies wanted to create their own crypto just like facebook, samsung and so on. It would be a very tough competition for them since crypto users are more inclined on using bitcoin and ethereum rather than using a new one. I think, creating a new is good in terms of people will have the opportunity of having new options to choose, and on the other side for the bad one is that having lots of new crypto isn't good because you don't have the guarantee that your fellow user would use it the worst is that new crypto won't have any space on the market.
823  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: June 14, 2018, 04:16:14 AM
Hey dudes hope you are well. I sell a lot of things on Craigslist. I am now planning on putting a couple things up and saying I accept btc or eth along with the greenback. Wondering if you guys have tried this. I

It is good idea though but I suggest you do need change your price that varies the price changes of crypto or bitcoun in order for you to earn something. Because probably once you stick your price even though the price drops you won't earn something good and the worst is you will face profit loss. So, instead of sticking to the price you need to change the price that varies directly to the price changes of crypto or bitcoin.
824  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: June 13, 2018, 12:38:53 PM
Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

War against crypto currency huh, or may be that ain't no war may be it something we called banning the crypto currency on their community. Because for me once it has got declared which everyone called war it would be something against the users not the crypto currency itself. Hoping for it not to happen though, it would be such a big disaster if the so-called war happened. Not for the users, it would be such a big disaster to the bitcoin community as well.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: June 13, 2018, 02:51:34 AM
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.

Well, it is hard to say it on when they will do get comforable using bitcoin or having some deals and/or some stuffs about bitcoin. Especially when they do hate it. Well, as long as they use it may be they could get a long and well with it, and in addition it would be tough for them to get along with bitcoin when they encounter some issue that would make them uncomfortable with it and the worst is that they don't use bitcoin anymore.
826  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: June 12, 2018, 02:56:04 PM
We can not deny the big country with good economy, it will make the society economy better too.
So they can follow the economic development and participate in transactions and investments in Bitcoin era.
How the people of small countries can participate in participation and benefit from it?
It would be very difficult to calculate the statistics of users of each country, but the comparison of Bitcoin ATM growth from this early 2017 report can be the initial reference of the statistics.
Perhaps by the end of this year, there will be more Bitcoin ATM growth across the board due to the growing interest in bitcoin this year.

Usually, simply because the flow of economic on their country is good that they do have the foundation to have this kind of stuff. Usually, those who are not bitcoin users are from bad country who first declined the crypto to get in, and used by their people. Sometimes, such acts results to a severe bad economic result and decreases the chances of having a good economic and the factors of having a good economic on their own.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will this bear trend go? on: June 12, 2018, 10:07:32 AM
At what price do yal think will be bottom before we turn back up? I'm thinking $4,900 not to spread any FUD, however, they say when it rains it poors, and we have still yet seen people's response to this upcoming Tuesday on the 6th when all American policymakers meet, SEC and everyone else and we see what kind of regulation is made. The price will go down until the millionaires and wall street tycoons are happy to buy what they're going to buy and then we'll see it soar up to $13-$20k post regulations.

Well, we cannot afford to drop the specific time although there are some news and statistics that says that bitcoin will rise up this time. Since, bitcoin is decentralize it does mean the price changes will depend upon the man power who uses it, such endorsing or what so over that could affect bitcoin's price either negatively or positively. Well, the long wait will continue because there are no signs that bitcoin will rise up or not.
828  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: June 12, 2018, 08:11:03 AM
An economy is a zone of the production, appropriation, or exchange, and utilization of merchandise and enterprises by various operators. Comprehended in its broadest sense, 'The economy is characterized as a social area that underlines the practices, talks, and material articulations related with the production, utilize, and administration of assets'. Monetary specialists can be people, organizations, associations, or governments.

Well, you really defined it. All sorts of such thing really did exist in an economy and it really did exist in economy in my country. But it doesn't somehow work really well, simply because government officials does take their jobs for granted, mostly they are greed and really does only want a money and not really to serve their own country. It is really tough to live on this country where unity doesn't even exist.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: June 11, 2018, 02:44:06 PM

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

Well, may be you had skipped last december 2017 it is a great year and great though. Lots of crypto users got shock especially the holders by that time. Lots of users, sellers got a million that time. But today it is like drought but I am quietly sure that by the end of 2018 it would end up the same situation last year, hoping it for to happen if there will be no possibilities. As of today, it is a good time to invest or buy some bitcoin and hold it till the time comes for you to sell it.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: June 10, 2018, 02:39:18 PM
Goldman Sachs: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy

According to the report of Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can be a good alternative to the national currency for countries with an unstable economy.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said that digital currencies and, in particular, Bitcoin, can become a viable means of payment in countries where traditional money is not sufficiently provided.

Goldman Sachs experts: crypto-currencies can help the troubled economy

Indeed, but it would be a troublesome somehow in the economy because of its continuously fluctuations happening all throughout but it would be a big help for such country whose economy in terms of financial has a problem. In addition, it would be also tough to do it so since, not all the people can afford to buy a technology, and besides not all the people has a single knowledge about crypto even to use it. But overall it could be an alternative thing for a real a money.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: June 10, 2018, 11:41:22 AM
We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.
In your opinion, should we be teaching them the same or teaching them to be successful employees for the sake of climbing up the economic ladder?

As long as I am correct financially drough happened to china long time ago that is why they do so inclined to business in order to avoid such situation again. Well, if we will teach our children to have a business it doesn't mean that they would neither successful nor good leader in the near future as long as you won't teach them a single phase idea. Being an employee is really hard, if you teach them to be a boss in early age they would be more good to attain such position if they would be an employee.
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: June 09, 2018, 01:13:34 PM
With all the good news coming out in favor of bitcoin like Expedia accepting bitcoin etc it's time to buy with the price going down. You will not be so lucky next week. I strongly believe it's going to reach $700 by end of next week!

Good old days. When bitcoin is indeed buyable. Hoping that I early engaged to crypto world may be if I did it as earlier as I could I am pretty sure that I am a millionaire now, especially when times are like last december 2017 when bitcoin reached closer to 20,000 USD. It makes me feel sad that I had ignored bitcoin wayback before and choose to play computer games rather than grinding to earn crypto. I feel like I did a big big big mistake that's why I somehow felt hard buying bitcoin nowadays and engaging I feel like I am too late now.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: June 09, 2018, 08:32:52 AM
Bitcoin prices plunged from $4900 to $3300 withing pan of few days. Now some news-points from bitcoin world are claiming this price plunge was planned. Check following links:

https://news.bitcoin.com/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/

Now without going into whether above claims are true or not, my concern is "Isn't this is the right time to enter the bitcoin market or purchase few more". There is definite signs of improvement in the bitcoin price market. Current price is around $3757. It is quite possible to see bitcoin back to 4k to 5k or more. Given biggest players from finance sector are eying this lucrative market.
What do you think, is this is right time to buy some more bitcoins or wait and watch?

Wait or watching won't bring any good nor profit. So, I would choose to buy rather than to wait if those statements are definite and true. Because one thing for sure is that there would be always a possibility that bitcoin could take back its price last 2017 if I would buy it now then I won't regret later for not buying, well, there is a risk also if bitcoin price drops to zero then my money would mean nothing. But it is better to take a risk rather not trying at all, faith would be the best thing you would do in this kind of world and success will just waiting ahead.
834  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: June 09, 2018, 08:02:40 AM
1. Do not invest your own money

Since most businesses are risky, seek partners. So, if things do not go all the way, you will not go bankrupt because of the start-up funds, and not pursued debt.

2. Work hard

If you are not willing to work hard, overtime, forget personal gain and health, then entrepreneurship is not for you. At first, you definitely will not be able to pay employees, even if the employees are cheap. So, your employees are your own.

3. Use the latest technology

New technologies such as software and data storage with small companies are able to compete with large companies. Take advantage of low cost technologies on the market.

4. Respect the time

Rate the money in your time, for example Rp20 thousand per hour. This will help when you have to make a decision: If a store charges Rp10 thousand for shipping every week, and it takes you 2 hours to go to the store itself, then pay for the postage from the company, because it is cheaper.

5. Realistic

When creating a business model, look around and look for a successful example of the business model you want, then learn. If you can not find, whether you are an incredible genius, or your business model will not work in the real world.

6. Sell excess, not price

You start a business, you are naturally frustrated marketing it. But, if you compete on the price, you will end up selling at barely or even under capital. Master the skills of communicating with customers, to explain that your product price is higher because it has a better value

Indeed, all of would really imply. Once one of the factors doesn't met it would be tough for a business to run. In addition, when you are running a business always set a mind of an entrepreneur, business man always want the profit even though the product itself doesn't have a quality while an entrepreneur depends upon the product's quality and its individual contribution to society once it became succeed I guarantee that it will be for lifeline and won't be forgotten easily.
835  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I've made 600k in Crypto - When to call it quits on: June 08, 2018, 11:17:27 AM
Hi Guys

I've been in the crypto scene for many years now, first time post here over a dilemma I am facing.

So, I am fortunate enough to make 600k from buying and trading Bitcoin and other crypto assets, and I don't know what to do with the money. Personally I think this is the year I will become a millionaire, as I can only see the marketcap of all coins growing. But friends close to me think I am an idiot for not selling yet, and if it were to collapse to zero, I would never forgive myself. But they don't know the market like I do, and I do believe that it is only the beginning. They say I should sell 95% buy a house, a car and live a nice lifestyle. I am frugal, have always lived within my means and never spent any crypto money as of yet, but I am tempted to start spending some of it now. I am 26 years old, rent an apartment and drive a car worth less than most peoples pushbikes.

My portfolio currently looks like this....

43% Raiblocks
40% Oyster Pearl
5% Enigma
4%Dash
1.5% Bitcoin
and tiny holdings in Waves, Lisk, Stratis, Game.....

I think that both XRB and PRL can double easily this year.

This is not based on greed btw, I want to make enough money so I can buy my siblings houses and see them mortgage free.

What would you do if you were me? When do we call it a day and give up trading?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Well, congratulations to you for achieving such goals. I personally would suggest to you to trust your guts over your peer pressure, you have already said that you have more knowledge on the market better than your friends. So, trust your guts over such opinions but if something went wrong don't regret anything. As I see it would be a long time for bitcoin to collapse and drops to zero, so strive and continue earning before such disaster happens but set a certain goal for you to feel the result what you are working hard.
836  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, ICO, Lending, Bounty. Which one should I do ? on: June 07, 2018, 02:55:32 PM
Dear friend,
So far, I know for kind of earning money from bitcoin and altcoins.
I start trading when bitcoin 17000. until now, I lost a haft of money.
ICO I have win any ICO. But  I did not invest to much.
Lending I think have not join anyone. But I think in the first time you can get profit from lending. But no more later.
And now, bounty, I still reading and research information about it. No one help or support. One day, hundreds of campaign public. But dont know which one scam or good.
I am distempered. Need more advice from you here Smiley

Confuse? Well, why don't try it all they are all worth trying because they are all have a profit. Well, it might be bigger for the other one and smaller profit than the other but the thing is that you are earning, and it will be saved once you saved it, it will be definitely a profit. So, just try exploring them all, they aren't design aren't they? Just make sure you have the effort while doing your job because you are the one who would get the benefit of it.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: June 07, 2018, 10:03:48 AM
As of now there are 1500+ cryptocurrency exists in the world.
Many dead many rising and many has to come.
So how can i know the currency  ,where i am putting my money is not a part of scam?
Or is there any other way so we can check about respected crypto might be it'll work?

Well, the only thing you can do beside asking this kind of stuff is researching those crypto credibility where you will be involve with. Lots of crypto nowadays exist it is pretty hard to distinguish which is real and which is fake. Beside of the crypto credibility you may check the credibility of the manager who runs it, if in this forum look below the manager's name if there is a red trust probably the manager had been involve on some stuffs that made its trust red, probably the manager is a past scammer or whatsoever well, that is all.
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 06, 2018, 03:13:41 PM
If you are walking on the road and enjoying a nice day at the nearby park it's all because someone paid their taxes.
Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

Well, we do need it and we should pay taxes, paying tax doesn't mean just a burden on your wage, because we ourselves who pays tax and our fellowmen who didn't due to availability of work benefits the tax we pay. From a decent road we are passing by, health centers, teachers and the hard worker government officials who are working their job honestly and with hard work to improve our country. So, paying tax is that we need or else we won't have anything good and decent country to live.
839  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: June 06, 2018, 12:13:04 PM
at present, bitcoin is becoming known to people around the world, especially in developing countries. the majority of bitcoin is introduced through news on television and on the internet. Therefore people are starting to want to know what bitcoin is and if it appeals to them, they will invest instead?
Well the government should not be silent on bitcoin, they think bitcoin is disrupting economic stability and there will be inflation in the country.
Do you think that bitcoin will disrupt economic stability and there will be inflation due to bitcoin in a country?

Well, it might somehow since bitcoin is money it would have indirectly affect the financial stuffs of the countries especially the bank companies or what so ever. On the other hand, bitcoin could lessen the amount of poor people in the country since bitcoin could provide a home employment therefore, it could provide own wages since bitcoin is for everyone thus it might end up for the result of decreasing the amount of poor people in the country.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: June 06, 2018, 10:53:46 AM
Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out.  It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value.  Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.

Well, nothing more than just a hope that will help you strive and overcome such feelings that will make you take out your money as soon as the value gets drop due to feeling of being afraid to lose more money. Well, having that kind of attitude won't make anything good to you, what you need is that you have to stay strong and firm whatever the situation is or else it will make the situation more severe or you will lose lots of money instead of having it as a profit when the price gets back again.
