@ aurel57: So, you're s0br's attorney now?...... Cheesy Cheesy

If s0br posted anything on his own pool thread it would be a freaking miracle - let alone if he answered a single question, explained a single incident or provided a single shred of proof to back any of his lies up. The reason he doesn't post is simple - he can't. Obvious when you think about it for a second or two eh?

Everyone loves to talk for s0br - except s0br of course. How can you continue to defend a pool OP who refuses to post on his own pool thread? Don't be so blind..... Roll Eyes

No I don't represent s0br. I just don't like all the lies, if people just stuck to facts I would not have to defend things that I know are misconstrued.
824  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 01:23:38 PM

  This FedEx receipt means nothing!

That's for s0br to prove. He can do that any time he wants then can't he........

As any attorney could tell you its hard to prove a negative.  But go ahead tell me just how someone can prove that a package signed by someone else had what in it? If he came on here and said it was his package and it had something in it that was his that he paid for then you will be happy?  Roll Eyes
825  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 01:17:24 PM
You can get help on the IRC if needed......

Thanks noob, but screw irc.

This forum is here to promote openness & transparency, something that s0br claims to be a flag bearer of - yet he didn't post here for over 3 months. Plus he went AWOL for 2 months after disappearing from the scam thread. Why is that do you think?  Roll Eyes

I don't care about what happened in the past. The pool is working great for now, some delays here and there and there was that diff adjust thing that you keep refering. It's not perfect but it is one of the best around. Please don't call me noob... Just look at you, you keep spamming this thread everyday with the same things, what exactly is your point? It kinda looks like you are jealous from s0br.  Roll Eyes

And about transparency, I don't see any pool that gives access to the global pending payouts, seems quite transparent to me.

The problem I have with this is its a PPS pool which should not have to wait for the pool to find blocks and confirm to be paid. Also it was stated from the start the pool was not to be a bank and it did not want to hold your coin. Payments could be set as low as 1 hour.  If this all had changed then it should have been posted either in the forums and or the home page. I don't see why the pool just does not go back to a PPNLS payment system.
826  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 01:07:19 PM
I tried several pools and I have to say this is the highest paying one even with the diff adjustment thing. As long as I get paid I won't switch to another pool  Wink

I have mined on BAN and made more BTC there than any other pool. But I don't like the late payments and no communication unless you get on IRC chat.
827  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 01:01:01 PM
Using stolen hardware:

Minersource is falsely claiming that we have not shipped ordered merchandise while in fact they have stolen $1050000 from us through fraud.

The last package has been obtained through defrauding our customer support department. The stolen merchandise is with Bitcoin Affiliate Network in Las Vegas, Nevada. They are aware that the merchandise is stolen yet they ignore communications with us. We are in discussion with the Police.

Come on s0br/ThePhwner & all your fake alises - bring it on. Tell me I was wrong  Roll Eyes

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING THIEVING LYING POOL!!!

You want me to believe Black Arrow?

Normally, no. This checks out though, follow the link supplied by them - here's the delivery confirmation, signed for by J Kerrigan - & I know who that person is  Wink

paid up to date here too

I ran a miner here for a short while to see about the payments and I was paid up as well.
829  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 12:13:28 PM
How is the 7.7% theft happening it's the first I've heard about this?

Scroll back 1 page - or check out the link to the scam thread I just posted above  Wink

s0br owes the miners that were not paid on time.

Yeah, going back the last 6 months...... Roll Eyes

Yes that a good point...but payments were only not always late the last 6 months. Its only been a major problem the last few months but its not right that the miners get screwed just because the pool can not pay on time.
830  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 14, 2015, 12:03:14 PM
Considering pool has found a few blocks last few days payouts have stopped 12 hours ago (to me anyway).

This surprises you?  Anyone who mines on this scam pool needs their head testing..........

I'm paid up to date again now last payout received was 15 minutes ago.

Good for you - one of the lucky ones, but double check your payout  Wink

Updated the scam thread with the latest 7.7% theft of miners income by s0br:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=782765.msg10457700#msg10457700

To be honest I've switched pools a couple of times when payouts have been days late but they've always paid in the end so I've gone back. When I did switch pools payouts were pretty similar anyway.

How is the 7.7% theft happening it's the first I've heard about this?

Its due to people that were not paid on time and difficulty went up so the late payment sitting in the pool all dropped by 7.7% when the change happened. s0br owes the miners that were not paid on time.
831  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Most profitable btc pool on: February 13, 2015, 07:52:10 PM
I'm a big fan of P2Pool, run my own node and have been mining it for quite many months.

However, lately we've crossed the 3-day threshold for blocks (3 times in the past 2 weeks), which means work is being wasted as after 3 days shares in the chain start to fall off.

I've been splitting my hash between BTCGuild and P2Pool for the past month.  Take away the recent variance issues and P2Pool has out-earned it by a good margin.  Recently though BTC guild has caught up and surpassed with these few days without a block on P2Pool.

I'm heavily considering switching at least the workers over form BTCGuild to CKPool.  At the least, the fees are less on CKPool and I'm for sure liking the fact that it's run by the core cgminer DEVs so it's quite trustable as well (no knock on the other pools).  It's much harder for me to move from P2Pool even with the variance, but if there's many more stretches which go for 3+ days without a block I don't think there's much choice.

The long dry spells are all part of it. Over the long haul it should all even out, so it really comes down to pool fees and trust of the pool OP. BTCGuild and CKPool are both very trustworthy pools. (I have mined at both in the past but of these two I only mine at CKPool now)
832  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Most profitable btc pool on: February 13, 2015, 07:25:55 PM
If you're patient, p2pool pays best over time.

If you prefer a traditional pool, look into kano's pool.

I would agree with both above pools and then there is two PPS pools. DFish takes a 4% cut, BAN is 0% fee but payments are a problem lately not being on time.

If your interested in a p2pool node in your area try this to find one. http://nodes.p2pool.co/
833  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 13, 2015, 06:43:34 PM
Edit: In fact, I'll collect all my posts about BAN & post them here for you if you like - would that make you happier?

What an excellent idea! I think I'll do the same........ Cheesy

Please don't either of you. The excitement would be too much

Actually, it is a good idea - maybe it will coax your transparent & invisible OP s0br out of hiding so that he can answer everyone's questions - don't you think?  Wink

Miners have every right to be able to question a public pool OP on a public forum as to why their earnings do not equate to the promised & advertised rate. The OP of this pool has a "colourful" past on this forum to say the least, so miners are correct to question his ethics. S0br logs on to this forum frequently, he was last active on February 12, 2015, 01:36:11 (yesterday) - and yet his last post on this, his own pool thread, was on November 11, 2014, 01:54:18 PM - that's over 3 months ago.
That alone is a massive red flag, as no serious & reputable pool OP would leave it more than a few days without posting on his own pool thread even if there was nothing of any importance to say, which absolutely can't be said of this pool.

Think about that while I collate all my posts for aurel57.

Not accusing you of anything or believe your scamming anybody other than I just remember things differently.

EDIT: I also don't disagree with anything you posted above other than you don't need to "collate" anything for me? Most may not remember but BAN 6 months ago started off as a PPLNS pool not PPS and we got paid after the blocks were confirmed. This was done manually by s0br much as some pools do today.
834  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 13, 2015, 04:31:17 PM
Is it a good idea to mine here or not?  So much fighting.

I tried this pool out when it first started but stopped because of the late/missing/short payments. That was 6 months ago before they got caught scamming & creaming the top off of miners payouts - reading through this "New" thread (s0br locked the first one when the scam was exposed), it seems that nothing has changed. Getting support is impossible as the pool OP never posts here, although there are many shills/fake accounts who like to post on his behalf...... Roll Eyes

If I were you, I'd use a pool that has a cleaner reputation - it's just not worth the risk or hassle  Wink

Thats funny IYFTech as I didn't remember you leaving the pool due to payments so I went and checked...

Are you having any issues with your east1 server? I just added an S2 to it (lowest ping) & I'm seeing massive hash swings poolside with terrible efficiency/discard/invalid rates....

I changed to west1 as soon as I posted - is there any way to reset the stats page so I can start monitoring from scratch?

Yes, I can reset your system.. just PM me your username over...

PM'd.  I got problems there too - disconnects & the diff starts off at 64 then shoots up to over 11K! I've used this S2 on other pools without issue, so I know it's not a miner problem....

Sorry, but there seems to be too many stability problems here ATM - I'll give it another try later when the problems have been ironed out.

Good luck  Smiley

835  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: February 13, 2015, 03:58:58 PM

I could never get my S3s to work properly on p2pool.

M

I still have a few S3's on my node & they are the most stable out of all the Bitmain hardware I've had. S3's run perfect on p2pool if you use the August 26th firmware (antMiner_S320140826.bin) using queue 0. Every other firmware release is borked in one way or another.

My S3's find a lot of shares. My one that was a batch 2 which never wants to run above 420GH does well on getting shares on p2pool.

no We did not give up Swapped to a large Hard Drive more space.. hashing on it now.

Not sure what happened, as I was the only one mining on this node off and on and now the home page seems down?
837  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Chicago Cryptocurrency | ----------->0%<-----------| Join us now! POOL PARTY on: February 11, 2015, 11:19:50 PM
I think they only have rental hashing power.

Well that could be. But something was not right because their miner showed up on the list and showed its hashing speed but the node total hash only showed mine? But I enjoyed mining here by myself  Wink found 2 shares
838  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: February 11, 2015, 10:36:48 PM
Today we found 4 blocks already so payments should get back to normal Cheesy
That's some pretty nice luck Smiley

Aaaand we just found another one  Grin
That's the kind of day I could have used on p2pool... would have helped to make back some of the coin I've spent on rentals lately.  Boy did I pick the wrong week to rent rigs Smiley

Same here! But the Bitcoin gods were good to s0br today!
839  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: February 11, 2015, 11:25:29 AM
people lost interest in p2pool? pool rate was 3ph+ in dec-jan, now its 1.5-2.5 PH max. Also dont know who is the big guy who comes in and goes out now and then. I see big deviation from 1.5PH to 2.5PH frequently. why arent the miners staying at the pool or pool has some problem?
It is very true what you say. That why i left the pool.

Right now the pool is showing:

Global pool rate:   3.21 PH/s (DOA 438.63 TH/s / 13.67%)

As far as someone big coming and going it could be a large miner that rents his hash out and when its not rented then its here.

I moved another back here for now, I can't stand to see your pool not being used.  Tongue

You must be having problems with your miner?

I see you moved back on but your miner is not showing up on the pools hash rate?
