Well I'm mining with them and all seems ok so far.  Will keep a close eye on it.

Very nice dashboard though.  Site is excellent.  All pools are like Marmite though.  If you find something you like then good for you.  If you're a hater that's your issue.

I'm no hater - I just think it's scandalous that people let s0br get away with stealing, lying & scamming miners. As should everyone. Speaking of scamming, here's another classic from their first thread:

Of course, if you're OK with losing over 7% of your earnings, zero support, lies, fake accounts, fake givaways, fake pictures, late payments, missing payments, etc, etc with no explanation whatsoever on a pool that is using stolen hardware - then by all means knock yourself out and mine here  Wink

Miners need to know what they are letting themselves in for here, especially noobs who don't know any better.

@ s0br of BAN: Stop being a chicken sh*t & answer the questions like you keep saying you will, or stay the proven scammer you are!! s0br/BAN scam thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=782765.0

Is it a good idea to mine here or not?  So much fighting.

I tried this pool out when it first started but stopped because of the late/missing/short payments. That was 6 months ago before they got caught scamming & creaming the top off of miners payouts - reading through this "New" thread (s0br locked the first one when the scam was exposed), it seems that nothing has changed. Getting support is impossible as the pool OP never posts here, although there are many shills/fake accounts who like to post on his behalf...... Roll Eyes

If I were you, I'd use a pool that has a cleaner reputation - it's just not worth the risk or hassle  Wink

Thats funny IYFTech as I didn't remember you leaving the pool due to payments so I went and checked...

Are you having any issues with your east1 server? I just added an S2 to it (lowest ping) & I'm seeing massive hash swings poolside with terrible efficiency/discard/invalid rates....

I changed to west1 as soon as I posted - is there any way to reset the stats page so I can start monitoring from scratch?

Yes, I can reset your system.. just PM me your username over...

PM'd.  I got problems there too - disconnects & the diff starts off at 64 then shoots up to over 11K! I've used this S2 on other pools without issue, so I know it's not a miner problem....

Sorry, but there seems to be too many stability problems here ATM - I'll give it another try later when the problems have been ironed out.

Good luck  Smiley

Excuse me? Are you accusing me of something?

I gave BAN another try, saw that payments were not consistent - and left. Just because I didn't post my reasons, that does not mean I didn't have any.

Why on earth you would try & insinuate otherwise is beyond me, especially after answering questions & helping you get set up on p2pool. Anyway, please feel free to post all my other posts here if it pleases you, I have absolutely nothing to hide.....and I will continue to offer my opinion to new members who ask questions on this forum, weather you agree with them or not.

If you feel I am deceiving you or anybody else in any way, please open a scam accusation against me in the appropriate thread - I will be happy to address any concerns or accusations you have about me. Otherwise, don't accuse me of anything at all.

Edit: In fact, I'll collect all my posts about BAN & post them here for you if you like - would that make you happier?

Actually, it is a good idea - maybe it will coax your transparent & invisible OP s0br out of hiding so that he can answer everyone's questions - don't you think?  Wink

Miners have every right to be able to question a public pool OP on a public forum as to why their earnings do not equate to the promised & advertised rate. The OP of this pool has a "colourful" past on this forum to say the least, so miners are correct to question his ethics. S0br logs on to this forum frequently, he was last active on February 12, 2015, 01:36:11 (yesterday) - and yet his last post on this, his own pool thread, was on November 11, 2014, 01:54:18 PM - that's over 3 months ago.
That alone is a massive red flag, as no serious & reputable pool OP would leave it more than a few days without posting on his own pool thread even if there was nothing of any importance to say, which absolutely can't be said of this pool.

Think about that while I collate all my posts for aurel57.

Not accusing you of anything or believe your scamming anybody other than I just remember things differently.

EDIT: I also don't disagree with anything you posted above other than you don't need to "collate" anything for me? Most may not remember but BAN 6 months ago started off as a PPLNS pool not PPS and we got paid after the blocks were confirmed. This was done manually by s0br much as some pools do today.

To be honest I've switched pools a couple of times when payouts have been days late but they've always paid in the end so I've gone back. When I did switch pools payouts were pretty similar anyway.

How is the 7.7% theft happening it's the first I've heard about this?

Its due to people that were not paid on time and difficulty went up so the late payment sitting in the pool all dropped by 7.7% when the change happened. s0br owes the miners that were not paid on time.

Yes that a good point...but payments were only not always late the last 6 months. Its only been a major problem the last few months but its not right that the miners get screwed just because the pool can not pay on time.
