Around 2018-2019, i started writing content for certain start-ups, and they really paid me a good amount. I had no prior experience, but gave up along the way due to personal problems and the bear market. If I had kept on writing content for start-ups, I would now be having 4–5 years experience today

My suggestion is for people to completely avoid using the clearnet version as it's more vulnerable and less secure in terms of privacy/anonymity. Now where they will use VPNs on top of onion sites or not is their choice.
