All of those having their VAT number not accepted, the website is using this API to check your VAT:
http://isvat.appspot.com/

Shows TRUE for mine.

EDIT:
I pasted my VAT ID into field. When I choose country Poland to ship to, it excludes VAT from final price. When I choose United Kingdom, VAT is included! UK is not in Europe?  Wink
It is not! It's an island! Wink

Sigh, another bug i suspect...

I didn't realized it on beginning and already paid for my order inc. VAT. I contacted you via Contact webpage. Hopefully problem can be resolved.

FAQ states:
Code:
I’m from a country outside the EU, do I have to pay VAT?
No, only customers inside the EU have to pay VAT.

Are you granting VAT exemptions?
Yes for non EU Customers, and if you’re running a business within the EU and have a valid VAT identification number then you don’t have to pay VAT. Please enter your VAT identification number at the checkout page.
Same here. It doesn't work when I am putting my EU VAT ID, still asking to pay VAT.

quarkcoin, can you please explain how to calculate difficulty and miner reward? Any algorithm we could use? I wonder to know how fast I will mine a block with 4-core CPU at current difficulty of 83.

The best is probably to see how long it takes to mine say 10 blocks. Divide reward by number of minutes, then divide by the average difficulty over that period, and then divide by your GHz processing power, that will give you reward per minute per difficulty point per GHz. Do the opposite to calculate your estimated reward.

I not mined even a single block, yet Smiley Still waiting.
BTW:
Code:
"connections" : 16
difficulty" : 124.01564152
Quarkcoin becoming increasingly popular Smiley

832  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Eyes to the horizon: A bitcoin ASIC project will be announced in June on: July 23, 2013, 06:11:15 PM
update:

1 ,Our IPO will start soon (in 2 weeks)

2 , Hashrate of our first batch will be around 200-300T(depend on whether & in what extent we over clock our chips),due to the problem of inadequate productive capacity of  SMIC, our first batch of wafers will be delayed to the begin of September. By far,we have prepared everything well, which means that we can start hashing immediately after we take the chips. The proportion of distribution of our chips on mining-hardware and self-mining-room depends on several factors like : how many orders we can have, the practice efficiency of our demo-hashing-room, the ROR of each of them..etc... it is also worth mentioning that we will start both of  projects at the same time.

3, To compare other teams,we at the moment have an advantage of deploying mining-rooms rather than sales&marketing. We will deploy our rooms in 3 cities (Beijing,Xi An,ShenZhen)  in the meantime. Relatively, we are considering to accept outsourcing in terms of the sales & marketing & promotions of our user-mining-hardwares. Therefore, any suggestions or recommendations relating to this is welcomed.

4, A detailed description for IPO will be published later , stock-platform will be either bitfunder or btct.co if possible, our website www.btcgarden.com will also be opened fully soon.

Thanks for an update. Good luck with your project, please keep us updated.

Hello guys,
I've not been following this thread too much because of lack of time. Can someone tell me please what's the current status of burnin's work?
I bought chips with batch #3 from Zefir. I already claimed chips on his website and choose to ship chips to burnin. Should I register somewhere else as well? I don't see any website address on burnin's OP. How to pay for his boards and when I will be able to do it?
Thanks in advance.

wallet doesn't sync. any good nodes available?

Open your firewall port and add nodes from OP to your config file.

p2pool:
Pool Hashrate: 1682.8 GH/sEstimated Time to Block: 18h32mCurrent Round: 3d3h11m

more than 3 days with no found block, thats make me nervous. thbis are three days without reinvestment ...

If it makes you nervous, just stop watching it. Luck it's a feature that you can't do nothing about it. In longterm it's always close to 100%.

I made some tests on P2Pool and now it seems it's performing quite well. I am going to install a production server and move the hashing power there.

That's great to hear! How much of hashrate are you going to move there?

840  Economy / Computer hardware / EuropeanMiner USB Erupters - anyone bought already from this guy? on: July 16, 2013, 09:10:56 AM
Because his own sale thread is self moderated, I copied my post here:
Anyone bought something from this guy?

Sunday I bought 2 USB Erupters. He claims that he sent it already with local PostOffice. No tracking number provided. I asked him to photo proof of posting (receipt). Yesterday evening he promised to give me a photo today. No response since then.
Please be careful before trading with this guy.
And to EuropeanMiner: can you give me proof of posting please?
Please respond, If any of you made some trading with him already.
