821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Serious Sportsbet problem, they paid 38.32 LTC to the wrong address on: August 22, 2023, 02:25:01 PM
I have never admitted that I have provided an incorrect address, if so I would not be complaining.

How do you explain this?

822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Serious Sportsbet problem, they paid 38.32 LTC to the wrong address on: August 22, 2023, 01:45:41 PM
You admitted that you made a mistake in copying the address. The responsibility is not on sportsbet.io anymore. Also, you have to understand that transactions in crypto are irreversible. This means they won't be able to hold the recipient accountable. Sorry, mate. I think you just need to learn from your mistake.

As of now, I believe sportsbet.io has still been able to maintain its good reputation.

You might want tor read this,

Can litecoin transaction be reversed?

Seriously, is it possible that a hacker can even imitate the characters of my original address? is what you say real?

Perhaps your PC has been compromised. I've had a similar mistake in the past where I copied my address, but when I pasted the information, a different address appeared. Luckily, the amount I lost wasn't significant. This situation emphasizes the importance of double-checking the address before clicking the 'withdraw' button.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford vs Canelo-Charlo winner (no date yet) on: August 22, 2023, 03:16:17 AM
Crawford counter is his main weapon. I think he will problem on higher division if his punches doesn't big guys while he is hurt by the power of boxer like Canelo.
It's going to be a huge challenge for him, but he is eager to prove his greatness. So, let's give him a chance. Canelo is a strong boxer; he once moved up after winning the undisputed championship, but he lost to Bivol. This was probably because he wasn't able to carry his power and speed. The same thing could happen to Crawford. However, that's the downside. But we never know what's going to happen. One thing is sure: this fight is going to attract the interest of the boxing community.

Hopefully, the Philippines will win this one after the disappointing loss to Montenegro.

This game is quite close at the moment, giving the Philippines a chance to win. Even though Mexico is currently in the lead, it's still too early to draw conclusions. We have the 4th quarter ahead, in case Mexico maintains their lead through the 3rd quarter. Betting on the Philippines in live betting is a good idea, as the odds are likely to be very attractive.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please put your gambling threads in the correct section!!!! on: August 08, 2023, 11:27:02 AM
People can know the difference between gambling board and gambling discussion board before they click on the board:

Quote
Gambling board
Gambling and all "investments" that are so risky they might as well be gambling (HYIPs, pyramid schemes, etc.)

I think this should be updated because I haven't seen HYIPs, pyramid schemes, etc., in this section. The main reason is that they are mostly tagged as scams. In short, they are not encouraged, and I'm not sure if they are allowed.

Anyway let's help each other to report to mods topics that does not belong here.
828  Economy / Gambling / Re: NanoGames.io on: August 08, 2023, 05:29:01 AM
Whoa, I'm seeing BC Games vibes from those images.

Still, welcome!

I see Betfury alike site, especially after the roulette popup free spin. They must be using the same game provider.  They are however made for Nano tokens to be their first choice for gaming.

Without any other marketing promotion for this casino, it may just be buried along the ANN threads in this forum without getting sunshine. That's why they created a new ANN thread like this. Anyway, Welcome back to bitcointalk

How come it happens to be a welcome back? Is it something like an existing casino back then that gone before at bitointalk and now they are advertising here again? Please someone enlighten me. I opened and accessed the website and it's almost already developed for more than years now. There's little to no lag and buggs.

It was already mentioned by the OP and several other members that NanoGames had already posted their topics on this forum. So, the platform has been discussed before and is not a new topic. That is why: "Welcome back!"

They have one way back 2019. For those who are interested to check, you can see it in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105754.0
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: August 07, 2023, 05:09:01 AM
If Jake transitioned into MMA, he'd be surprised on how well even the leanest fighters can hold and grapple against huge guys. I've seen Asian guys grappled the hell out of muscular men lots of times to the point of submission, and Jake would not be ready to be in that field unless he dedicates the next year or so of his life in purely practicing grappling and getting out of it.

That's a different field for Jake Paul; he'll not excel in kickboxing as what he trained well is on boxing. If we have noticed, he is also very keen on choosing his opponents, that's why he maintains a good record. So it's a big risk for him if he'll go for UFC where he does not have the advantage.

It's enough that we witnessed Jake Paul from being a social media influencer to now a pro boxer, and we have enjoyed most of his fights if not all.

Just imagine, when a popular fighter retires or stops in UFC because of injury or they are aging, they still have another opportunity to make big money in boxing. The good news is that they can even make bigger money compared to what they earn in UFC.
830  Economy / Gambling / Re: NanoGames.io on: August 07, 2023, 04:12:20 AM
This is not the kind of feedback what I'm expecting to read on a site that wants to be welcome in the forum (again). I also see that they have an old thread, so I guess they should focus on that one. I hope OP would consider the suggestions so the site will improve and that it will be able to attract more gamblers.

License is actually 'a must' nowadays, as with the huge numbers of scams in the crypto gambling world, gamblers are just trying to ensure they can go after when a casino goes dark, you know what I'm saying.

Comply on the most important (Lincense), and the rest will follow.
831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $20M stolen by "Zero Transfer Scam" phishing trick on: August 04, 2023, 02:32:34 PM
fortunately, Tether has blacklisted the address of the scammer who managed to steal $20 million, I think the victim should get a police report to recover his stolen funds.

Fortunately, this is the best part because if it's bitcoin, then there's no chance of recovering the funds.

I think they'll follow the process if this is the right procedure I'm reading.

https://tether.to/en/tether-token-recoveries/

But, of course, the police report is still very important, as the owner of the stolen funds has to provide everything to ensure that the funds belong to him. That way, there's a chance that the $20 million stolen from him will be recovered, also I'm thinking that more documentation is really needed like a judge decision or anything that prove his ownership.
832  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: August 04, 2023, 02:12:48 PM
There's a reason why it's called emergency funds; it should only be for emergency purposes. So if you are thinking of investing, the best way to do it is to sell some assets and hope that you will be able to grow your funds. It's not hard to make a decision if you understand the purpose of your money. In times of trouble, what we need is mature thinking in managing our finances.

Investing and saving (for emergencies) should both exist, and once you have failed in your endeavors, then you can resort to the last option, which is touching your emergency funds. Remember, it should be the last option.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you will never become rich on: July 31, 2023, 06:39:54 AM
You will not become rich if you are not educated about financial literacy.

It's not just about how much you make, but more about how you will be able to grow your funds. This can be achieved by managing your income and expenses effectively. Also, it should be in your mindset that no one gets rich by working alone. Not only will it limit your earning capability, but it will also not give you freedom in managing your time. When you are in business, you are your own boss, so you are in control of your time.

Maybe for some, it's hard because they don't want to get out of their comfort zone. But believe me, if we don't take the risk, we will never get rich. So there's only one way to reach the goal, and that is to take a "risk".

Good luck to those who are strong enough to get out of their comfort zone. May you succeed with your endeavors.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Community research: To drink or to buy coins? on: July 30, 2023, 03:11:43 PM
I'm supposed to do both, but currently, I'm jobless and all I can afford is to buy beer. At least one beer a day comes from my own pocket; the rest is when my friends visit me, and that's when I would be able to drink for free.

Personally, it's easier for me to earn coins than buying them because, as far as I can remember, during the time when I was still earning crypto, it was easy for me to save some. However, when rainy days come and there's nothing you can spend, you have to break the rules and withdraw the funds you are holding. It's a matter of surviving in these challenging times, and having some beer gives me a bit of ease.

By the way, beers that I buy only cost me less than $2, so it's less than $2 a day and it's impossible to conver that into crypto coin.
835  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does ranking not guarantee post quality? on: July 29, 2023, 02:10:19 PM
The answer to your question is yes. If merit is the basis of ranking, then one could earn merits even if a user does not have a lot of quality posts. Some may buy merits from other accounts just to rank up, but starting as a newbie, it's kind of hard. Perhaps only a few are doing that, as the majority of users genuinely focus on the value of their posts to earn merits.

I know that merit should not be the main focus of joining the forum, but we cannot deny that some see the opportunity in joining a signature campaign, so they work hard to earn merits. Unfortunately, there are cases where, after ranking up and being accepted in a campaign, their post quality slowly depreciates. The good thing is that now there are campaign managers who continuously check the participants' post quality to ensure they maintain the required standard while still earning from the campaign.
836  Economy / Services / Re: I need Pertime online income platform. Perday [$5-20] on: July 29, 2023, 01:58:46 PM
Your expectations may not be too high for this forum. One of the ways to make money here is by joining a signature campaign, which doesn't require specific skills; you just have to be active and participate. However, it does require merits, and your account needs to be active. I suggest trying to be more active and helpful to earn merits.

While there are other ways to earn money outside the forum, as others have suggested, unfortunately, you don't have a skill yet, and learning might take some time before you can find a suitable job. Additionally, competition should be considered, as the online world is continually expanding.

Therefore, be sure to evaluate things properly so you won't end up wasting time. Be resourceful and look for suggestions that you love and can practically do.

838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The beauty of Bitcoin is in use case. on: July 28, 2023, 02:26:50 PM
That's the future we want to see, as only massive adoption would make Bitcoin stable and increase its value. As of now, it's still volatile like any other assets in the crypto space. The Lightning Network would help in making fast and cheap transactions, so hopefully, it will be promoted more, and more companies will adopt it.

In Bitcoin, there's no limit in terms of adoption, as it's a decentralized transaction asset. The only hindrance is when the government tries to discourage people from using crypto, fearing it might result in the devaluation of their fiat assets, which are often associated with corruption. So, if we want to see crypto consistently grow in the long run, we should offer consistent support as well, whether big or small, as it's already a significant contribution to reach our goal.
839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casino. Lmao. on: July 27, 2023, 12:14:10 PM
Just joined BitcoinTalk forum and I must say, I'm quite surprised to see that it has turned into a place where 50% of the forum active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casinos. Was hoping for more discussions on the technology and its possibilities.

People came here to use the services, so what can you expect? Just merely wearing a signature does not mean promoting for me. As long as mixers are there to exist and gambling sites to operate, I think there should be no problem with that.

Let us not forget that these mixers and gambling companies are one of the reasons why there are lots of active members in the forum. Let's be realistic here, take them out, and there will only be a few signature campaigns, which will, of course, result in a declining number of active members.
840  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: July 21, 2023, 02:12:10 PM

Every casino must have something called a marketing team and sometimes they have a different way of running campaigns and promotions with other casinos, we can't equate betfury with other big casinos on this forum who may have a much more budget than betfurry to get traffic in long-term.

Betfury is a decent gambling site, and eventually, they'll improve, maybe slowly but surely. Marketing should be the area where budgets are big, as it's where they will attract new gamblers to try their site. As long as they continue to have good customer service, I'm sure gamblers will keep coming back for some good times.
