for me, ethereum will be the best option for long term investment. it is top 2 on coinmarketcap and top 1 of all altcoins. ethereum has just started a year a go but it gain this much demand.

The etherium falls now with the ripple. But the ripple is recovering faster, so I would invest in this coin. But in fact, they all depend on the cost of bitcoin. Better wait for a steady trend to growth and invest in bitcoin.
If I were you, I wont invest in ripple, ripple is manipulated by big whales, and even if you say that ripple are fast to recover, you cant say when they want to dump its price, they can do it anytime. unlike ethereum, which is growing very fast, it has a big future which you can guarantee that you wont regret your decisions in the future. |

yes it is, but not everytime, because sometimes its better to invest in altcoins than to invest in ICO
you must be careful to choose what ICO to invest, because not all ICO are legit, most of them are scam.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years)  and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions? if that's the case then sell it and find another coin that is more promising and has a future. there is a lot of altcoins nowadays which has a future and that will surely help you earn big amount of profit just by holding it. |

I invested in Crypterium ICO a lot of money, from business plan I was going to keep CRPT Token until Q3 2018. We are still in Q1 is true, but mathematically, according to my calculations, CRPT token can not reach the result I was hoping for. I made about 90% loss from the amount invested. What do I do? Do I continue to Hodl or do I realize this huge loss? To get back on track I need at least 2/3 full points and I do not think the token can do it.
Did you invest in CRPT? Do you think you can do it?
sometimes expectation can bring you a big loss, in that kind of situation, I prefer holding it that to waste my money and all my effort waiting for a long time just to have a big profit. if you consider selling it now, then you already lose the opportunity to earn profit in the future. just hold it, and wait for its price to rise. |

I prefer joining bounty campaigns and airdrop than joining ICO, i dont actually invest because i dont have enough money to invest with.
even tho I like to invest.
but joining ico ang participating in bounties are good because once the ICO is success, you will also have your profit.

as long as the platform of a certain ICO is good, and they have a good background, then its good to invest, the price of bitcoin is nothing to do if its good or bad to invest in an ico, so for me, as long as there is a good ico then its good time to invest with.

I received an email from MyEtherWallet to claim some tokens of an airdrop I joined. Hovering my mouse over the link, I discovered it's a link to another cgi scripted site.
Interestingly you don't create MEW wallets using email addresses.
Guys be careful and be vigilant.
that trick has been used a lot of times, so if you receive an email regarding airdrop, free coin, etc. dont click the link attached on that certain email to avoid being scam. |

I tried to open my Litecoin wallet this evening and the only option that came up was for me to uninstall the program. Do I need to do a system restore? yes you do, i think the reason why you cannot open your wallet is that, its file is corrupted or something has been changed or removed. try to open it on another device by using the data of your wallet. i think it would work. |

I agree with this. A colleague of mine sold 50 BTC on the cheap back in 2014. No point in beating yourself up over this. same here, I do believe that experience something like that will give you a good decision making in the future, it happens for a reason, so think about the good side and not on the bad side. just continue living and work hard as long as you are here. |

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017. Not long, in the scheme of things. But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP. At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.
For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking. So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion. I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens. Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.
So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.
But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive. Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount. And that's when it struck me...
Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.
But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct. So, my question to you is...
Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL? Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

its only natural for some bounty hunters to sell their token immediately, because some bounty hunters here are using this forum as source of income, that's why they sell it when it was launch in the market. but some bounty hunters are holding it and wait for it to boom in the market. |

bitcoin is the mother of all altcoin, you wont compare an altcoin to bitcoin because altcoin will never ever surpass bitcoin. even ethereum who shows big potential in the market.
