Too many requirements being asked in their Airdrop Form. Why they're interested in getting user's name and email address (to receive spam messages?). And, wow, the rules I think they are too much, and there are special rules too! Why are they so much in a hurry announcing this project in the first place. It still lacks some of the most important things one should know about, i.e. whitepaper, development team, roadmap, etc.

I think there's no reason to worry about, as what Facebook says based on their new advertising policy pertaining to cryptocurrency, binary options, and initial coin offerings (ICOs), ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency. Below are examples they cited... “Start binary options trading now and receive a 10-risk free trades bonus!” “Click here to learn more about our no-risk cryptocurrency that enables instant payments to anyone in the world.” “New ICO! Buy tokens at a 15% discount NOW!” “Use your retirement funds to buy Bitcoin!” Based on the foregoing, what they're pointing to is about Advertisement (paid or not, whatever) and in my opinion, Facebook Bounty Campaign is not an Advertisement because you and/or a participant just merely share post or posts from a Facebook Page. So, if sharing post constitutes a violation of the new Facebook Advertising Policy then you won't see that post or posts in the Facebook Page of a certain project you have joined as Facebook will delete it/them outright.

Lots of people are feeling very sick for bitcoin's price down. 2 Days ago, one of my known brothers texted me that he almost went for a heart attack! Because he invested all of his money on bitcoin and altcoins.Actually, I am feeling tensed too. So, what do you think, What is the main reason for Bitcoin Price down? Will it stay for a long time?
One of the reasons I think is the impact of negative news. Such as the prospect of tougher regulation in China, South Korea, and India. Or, maybe it is due to credit cards ban in the US and Britan, banning card holders from buying Bitcoin and other coins using their cards.

BABAWI!!! HOW???

Are you looking for the real reason behind the massive declines we've seen recently?
The answer is 2 words = Interest Rate.
The US is going to keep on raising it and investors are looking for save haven that pays sure dividends ... so the US Dollar that everyone has buried in the last decade is outperforming all the Cryptos, and soon the EUR/USD will hit a parity (it's $1.25 now, it won't stay like this for a long time).
History always repeats itself, one way or another.
No, I think it's not. I think it's because of the so many negative news out there regarding tougher regulation is the key factor in the continues dive on the price of Bitcoin and other coins. Another reason maybe is, the banning on the use of credit cards to buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, accordingly aimed at protecting users from running up huge debts from buying them on credit if their values were to plummet.

Oh, I'm late DDD has no more value right now. I've seen it in my MEW wallet, there's no value opposite it. The total amount of all ERC20 tokens in my wallet was reduced by half as other tokens have no value anymore.

Good news, they're protecting users from getting scammed by syndicates operating in social media platforms and taking advantage of Bitcoin popularity. The only thing I've noticed is that BSP keeps on regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrency as virtual currency which is incorrect and totally wrong. Well, I don't blame them because (I guess) a great majority of bank people do not know what bitcoin is all about, and much more, the over 1000 coins (still counting) in circulation.
There are lots of differences between virtual currency and cryptocurrency, although the two are both unregulated, virtual currency is centralized and mostly used, accepted among the members of a specific virtual community... in contrast, cryptocurrency is not, it's decentralized and it's used in P2P transactions worldwide. Also, you can't own any virtual currency, while in cryptocurrency like bitcoin, you hold your private key and you are the owner. There are too many actually and the above were just a few.

A few years ago we did not even talk about bitcoin, so yes at the moment we can do without
Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding what was referred to in the OP is the survival of cryptocurrency without bitcoin and not us.

At this moment in time, the price of Bitcoin is $8,808.23. On Friday, Bitcoin price fell as low as $7,695.10, marking the first time this extremely high volatile digital asset has fallen below the $8,000 level since November 24 last year. I think the reason for the sudden sharp decrease is negative news such as tighter regulation on exchanges.

Is it true that facebook is banning all advertisements for cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin ? but why?
I believe this is a attempt to dishonest the whole crypto currency that is taking over the different platforms. Mr. Mark seems to be jealous (I think) and do not like the idea of decentralised platform really. Lately there has been launch of many social platforms which are based on the decentralised block chain but Facebook never liked the idea of it as its killing the market of the Facebook with the full fledge. There is social, nexus and many more platforms which are crowdfunding based along with he premium services of crypto based tokens. Im sure they are getting feel for that and doing this all to protect the monopoly of Facebook. Sorry, Bro but I think your speculations are not true. If you only search the net you will find a lot of news about the subject. Let me quote one from CNBC.com... Facebook announced a ban on advertisements for "binary options, initial coin offerings and cryptocurrency." The blanket decision is part of the social media giant's efforts to prohibit ads for financial products and services "that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices." So, there's no total ads ban because you can still see ads about crypto on Facebook. They only prohibit those ads that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices.

I think tsaka lang sya babagsak.
Gaya ng nabanggit ko sa OP, "...noon pa man I suspect Bitcoin price movement has been manipulated by the rich and people who have deep pockets, when the price is high they sell, they buy once the price is low." Marami na ngang nag-iiyakan, iyong mga newbie investors sa ibat-ibang bansa na walang gaanong kaalaman patungkol sa Bitcoin, nainganyo mag-invest dahil sa kasag-sagan sa pag-sikat ng Bitcoin at ang patuloy nitong pag-taas ng presyo noong kalilipas na taon, where price of 1 Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of $19,783.06 before dropping back below $19,500, according to Coindesk's price index (BPI). So, kung bumili sila ng Bitcoin noong time na yon, $18,000 or $19,000 or whatever the price at magpahangga ngayon hino-hold nila almost half na ang nawala sa kanila. At kung more than 1 Bitcoin pa ang binili nila mas lalo na. Sa mga Bitcoin Whales, there's no effect, very professionals sila, kung baga sa manok, diyan na sila tinubuan ng tahid.

Hello, Campaign Manager! May I know when is the exact date the ICO ends? Also, about the signature-ad campaign reward, is it awarded on a weekly basis or at the end of the ICO? Thank you.
|
|
|
Punishing lazy campaigns and their managers would go a long way or just blacklisting their signatures would help (which is what was meant to happen with the Signature Guidelines thread). It can't be acceptable for campaigns to do nothing about spam at all and if they started having their accounts banned and/or threads trashed they'd soon get the idea. I also don't think it would be a bad idea charging ICOs a fee to make their Announcements here or to run a signature campaign as it's these lazy crapcoin campaigns that are causing the most headaches and 99% of spam and staff workload and they should have to compensate for that. The forum loses revenue every time someone chooses to run a signature campaign over bidding on forum ad slots and the worst thing is staff have to clean up their mess for free whilst they rake in millions.
This is a nice idea. I would suggest it should be given top priority and be implemented as soon as possible. ICO projects are flooding the Altcoins section every week if not daily, and I think the great majority of these ICOs are scams, robbing investors and participants of their hard-earned money. I have doubt they're the same people that keep on coming back because they find it's so easy here to rake millions of dollars rather than robbing any establishments or banks which they find it costly and risky.

Yeh i was Jr Member and with 56 activity just needed 4 more and now im back to a newbie I Got demoted so how do I get Merit Now? Seems like Jr member got removed completely as well. Oh I see now you have to make quality post so people can gift you Merit. Nope, you're not demoted. You'll attain the Member rank once you reach the 10 merits required. I gave you 2 merits because I like your post here. Continue making quality posts to receive lots of merit points. So, now you only need 7 more merits to become Member. Thats a nice system tbh, do you only recieve merit when u are a member+ as well?
It's for everyone regardless of rank. I see lots of Newbies and Jr. Members receiving merit points. The good thing is that you can trace where they got those merits.
