Is there any way that I can have the miner not use such a ridiculous amount of power from the GPU yet? I kinda like being able to use my computer without having to close and restart the program 20 times a day ..  Thanks a lot for sharing the program claymore!  it would be more ideal to run it from a dedicated rig. althou you can cpu mine and game with no issues.... |

 280x maybe that's great!` Others have reported getting 280 H/s with 280x as well.  thats low as, i get get 356h/s with my 280x...... my 2 7950's get 302.5H/s each so i believe you need to play with ya settings..... |

Claymore, why I 7850 1GB card speed of only 120 H/S, and 7850 of my 2GB card to 220H/S, the same configuration
Miner requires a lot of GPU RAM. For full speed 3GB is required for 290/290X/280X and 2GB for 270/270X. If miner cannot find 2 GB it will work with 1 GB but much slower. Note that if something is wrong with memory allocation miner won't work a bit slower, it will work much slower (in 1.5 - 2 times), so if someone has 400h/s instead of 450h/s - memory allocation is not the reason. my 7950 rig has 8 gig at current, added more last night to see if that helped with the drop out issue, which it didnt sadly. |

despite the random card dropping, OC seems to be very straight forward.... getting 302.5H/s per 7950.....

My 7950 has around 270 h/s but it stops about an hour - 2 hours into mining. No errors pop up, the hashrate just goes down to 0 suddenly. All stock settings with catalyst 13.12.
yea around the same time on mine as well. both my multicard rigs dropped 1 card each since my last post. really need to get it look into as to why it drops 1 card from multicard rigs, somewhat fustrateing..... |

version 1.2 still drops cards randomly on my 7950 rig and once on my 280x rig, seems to happen more with the 7950's......
Overclocked? no stock settings for that line of cards. No crash, just h/s drops? How long does it work properly? How many cards installed? Does miner show any error messages? the program doesnt crash, only 2 7950's running in that rig and only 3 280x's running in the other rig. and just one card randomly stops hasing and the hash rate slowly drops until it only shows one card working, afterburner shows the card at 0% until i restart the miner and then its fine for awhile, i cant say for sure on the time span of how long it takes, can be very random. last night it went for over 13 hours without an issue, as of the past hour i have needed to restart the program for the 7950's 3 times already. |

Not happened with my rigs yet but the HR is worrisome. 1x7950 + 3 x R9 270 = less than 800 H/s (a bit faster than 2 core i7 combined) are you running stock clocks? 2 7950 for me pull 520h/s 4 x 7950 = 900H/s. What is your clock? 960/1250 so stock as a rock. |
