841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: November 27, 2016, 06:17:46 AM
If you think of it, it’s going to be okay to have bitcoin shops in cities especially with many people that has lots of bitcoin users. The people who needs bitcoins the most are the most active. They should hire like a manager that knows a lot and have a lot of experience with bitcoin. Especially, the security is also upgraded since a lot has happened, hacking etc. If it's still a small time shop it can easily be hacked and have their information and wallets.

Why does the risk of it getting hacked have to do with whether it is a small time shop or a big shop?  As long as you take proper precautions, anyone can protect their bitcoins.

I would kindly ask for your log file, if possible. It is located inside NiceHash Miner folder.

PM'd you my log file.  So GPU's 1, 2, and 4 work fine and are able to all run together with no problems.  But when I throw GPU 3 into the mix, all it does is submit Stale Shares.  I can run GPU 3 by itself and it seems to work fine by itself, only when running with the others is there a problem.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: November 24, 2016, 06:21:45 AM
Ok, I was able to get all GPU's to mine, but am having a small problem.  I have 4 GPU's and they all benchmark with no problems, but when trying to mine, GPU 3 won't work with the others.  If I run it by itself, it mines no problem, if I run the other 3 without it, they mine no problem, but when I throw it into the mix, it starts just submitting a solution but it just keeps returning a stale share.  Not sure what is going on?
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner on: November 23, 2016, 06:49:51 PM
Any advice on what is going on?  I installed a single GPU and got it working and hashing away nicely.  Then stepped up to all 4 GPU's and got them detected and looking good by the system.  Benchmarked them all with no problems, but when I hit start to start mining, nothing happens.  Any ideas?

Have no idea, can you send me your log file? PM me.

Yea in a bit, I actually got one working. I benchmarked GPU 1 again and it started up, will try to do that with the others when I get home and will send log file if there are still issues.

Thank you!

I am just getting back into GPU mining and have gotten my rig set up with a 280x that I currently am using the Nicehash miner with.  It is showing about 14.5 MH/s on DaggerHashimoto, but your profitability calculator says it should be around 17.88.  My question is, is there something I am doing wrong or need to install to get to that rate?
847  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [CANADA] [Paypal] 6 GPU mining rig on: November 22, 2016, 03:25:41 PM
Just sold on reddit for 1400$ upfront with paypal.. Thanks for interest

Refunded echeck.

Sorry money was upfront no waiting and whole rig.. I didn't know I had to wait a week, better for me this way anyways.. Thanks for interest

That's pretty shitty after I put up the money twice.

EDIT: You also owe me for the escrow costs to Ognasty since you pulled out of the deal.  You can send 1% of 480 to
19ovmFueWcihAsCY25kbUmE42cJNmnLR7Y
So you can send $4.80 worth of bitcoin to the address above.

You changed the deal, not me.. I wanted paypal so we had protection, so you can eat that and go with what seller wants, not what you want..
Not going to sit a week with no hardware and money while I had someone that wasn't dicking around with cash upfront, like a sale should be Smiley thanks

You reneged on the deal, accept that and enjoy your negative trust.  I didn't know it was going to take that long to transfer the funds, regardless, that was the point you should have said something, not when you accepted the alternate deal of me also placing bitcoins into escrow.  And let me get this straight, you think its alright for you to sit on no equipment and money, while I sit on no equipment and no money?  Nice try, as others have said, link to reddit or get labeled a scammer.

Yea ill accept bitcoin, do you want cards now that the others are sold?

I have sent a PM to Ognasty asking him to escrow the bitcoin while the Paypal is being cleared.  I am sure he will respond shortly.
850  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [CANADA] [Paypal] 6 GPU mining rig on: November 22, 2016, 03:42:03 AM
How much for the card ?
Only 1 card left or all 6?
Bit confused. You said $480 shipped but he paid $640 so he bought all cards too?

Its 640 CAD which is 480 USD
851  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [CANADA] [Paypal] 6 GPU mining rig on: November 22, 2016, 03:29:29 AM

Payment send but not shipped due to being echeck, card still available

Son of a bitch, I hate paypal, how about if I put the same amount worth of bitcoins in an escrow with ognasty, in the non chance of the payment not clearing you will still have the bitcoin balance released to you.  Will that work to still ship tomorrow?
852  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] [CANADA] [Paypal] 6 GPU mining rig on: November 22, 2016, 01:27:23 AM
I will give you $450 plus shipping for everything minus the GPU"s if you can ship it out tomorrow?

Hmm where too?

Shipping to Kansas 66062 in the U.S.

it would be 480 Shipped ( I'll eat the rest )

I will take it, is that a deal?

I am not playing the haggling game or complete set or not. I offered basically brand new price for used hardware, on the condition it was shipped immediately. So with that in mind, my offer is good until I go to bed tonight, about another 4 hours, my offer will drop after that

Any chance you would part it out?  Not interested in the graphics cards but would take the rest of the rig.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [HELP] Building rig which will use NiceHash on: November 19, 2016, 09:44:05 PM
If your plan is to expand over time, you might want to get a PSU that can power 6 GPU's up front (little more expensive, but it will save you from having to buy another one later on).

I have a customer who wants to buy 4k worth of bitcoin. I am short on this amount currently, would you be able to do a loan for 3500 or about 4.75 btc?

anyone have exprience with  auto buy  for these  pac man contracts. how that go.  how does it even work.

The autobuy just reinvests the payout back into the PACMiC to increase your hashrate.  You won't actually be paying down the balance on the principal if you select this option.

Running some simulations, I am getting about 3.25% APR on these contracts.  Not very good at all.  That is by far the lowest they have every offered.

Isn't the V5 likewise the same conditions as the V4? I remember the V4 also being 0.45 sat/BTC/s ?
It has different hashrate per contract and the difficulty and mining outlook are different
