If other threads accept the altcoin bounty abusers, I would add them there. I'm staying within BTC campaigns for now, and it does appear that it is going to be more of an alt finder at the moment but the automation of it narrows down the accounts to look at quicker so I can look further into the accounts for behavior that is not trustworthy. Keep in mind, I really don't find alts trustworthy in general, especially large groups of them, and most of them just constantly re-join campaigns every month or so and spew nonsense...  Roll Eyes

If you had one signature campaign under one account, you wouldn't be here. I do not have an issue with an individual person advertising in their signature. And this should not be your primary source of income, although I highly doubt you will be on the streets.

I did say I haven't seen any evidence of anything relating to your campaigns, but I always listen. If baboons could speak a language I understood, I'd listen to them too, and it would probably be a fascinating conversation. But it doesn't mean I'm going to agree or support everything they may say.

QS, like a lot of people on this forum, seem to have their motives which can sometimes be unclear. I try my best to not support the motives that I do not agree with, but I don't generally like to just ignore things.

This group appeared in the results as well, and was one of the larger groups I had first come across. I needed more proof though besides the wallet sharing so there is additional evidence I would need with this group to leave feedback as DT (based on my own criteria), which I just have not had time to do  Undecided, but if this is all the evidence that SMAS needs, I may just add the accounts I'm finding on there to get them off of the campaigns that follow SMAS, but my main goal is to find enough evidence to leave feedback and hopefully shut them down from all campaigns.

It is an automated process, the only manual part I have right now is adding the URLs I want to scrape, and this is intentional at the moment because I want to have a smaller scope of data to analyze and am hoping to get the worst of the bunch in that smaller scope, hence the reason for this thread. The information I'm currently collecting is as a guest user, the forum would see my script as an active IP address slowly browsing the pages of threads.. sorta like Googlebot Tongue. I did also ensure I had permission before I started the process to ensure I wasn't doing anything that would be seen as abusive.

There are next steps I have in mind that I haven't coded yet so I may need help but I'm not quite there yet. I'm certainly not a developer/coder by trade, but have a good amount of experience with php & sql/mysql, which is what I'm using. Thanks for the offer.

The data has certainly been interesting so far, and has drawn my attention to several groups of accounts... but more is needed as evidence for most of them, at least for me personally to justify leaving some sort of feedback.

I don't spend as much time looking through signature campaigns but am trying to find signature campaign threads that may be more prone to abuse, for those that may look at these closer than I. I want to feed them into a script that I've been using to scrape data. It is producing interesting results at the moment, and my plan for most of this data is to just post the results, but more for informational purposes to aid in building evidence against potential farms of accounts.

I may start scraping the thread lists at some point to include all campaigns but at the moment I am manually putting in the thread urls, and even with this step, it's a lot of data being captured, and based on what is being captured and pulled in from other sources, I have to manually verify right now until I am confident enough in the results I am getting.

My main goal with this thread is to try and narrow down my scope so I can focus on refining the script.

If anyone is willing, post here or PM me with thread links that you suspect may be more prone to abuse... I don't care if these are active/ongoing campaigns or if they may be over already. All I really need is the URL of the thread.

I believe it is related to animated png's, not gifs. At some point in time I remember making the determination in my head that animation had become allowed again but I believe it was just because I had seen some other users with one.

Ban evasion is not something the admins/mods are going to support. While it is possible to use another account, my understanding of a permaban is that YOU as a person are banned, not just your account. While it may be possible to evade a ban and remain hidden for some time, I doubt they would be recovering an account for you to help you evade your ban.  Roll Eyes

Yes, you can see who excluded them in the hierarchical view. If one DT1 excludes a DT2 member, they will appear with a (0) and if two people exclude a DT2 member, I believe that's when they get crossed out. (this is assuming the DT2 member has only 1 inclusion)

It appears to me that there have been more sig spammers asking how to rank up faster to try and get paid for campaigns compared to legitimate members asking about removing restrictions to create accounts to contribute to the forum. Current sig spammers may not be newbies because a lot have had to buy accounts or have already had time to rank their accounts up to join a campaign... and yes, I do like that Copper could potentially reduce account sales. However, I'm anticipating signature campaigns to start providing rates for copper members due to the signature restriction lifts and if those signature rates pay for the copper membership somewhat quickly, this seems like a no-brainer for sig spammers.

Maybe I'm wrong though.. this is just me speculating. Undecided
