841  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: TIPS PARA MAKA GAIN NG MERIT on: February 01, 2018, 02:09:10 AM
Meron po bang limit ang pagbigay ng merit sa mga katulad ko po na newbie??  Maaari rin po ba ako makapag bigay ng merit kahit po newbie palang po ako?? Maraming salamat po maam/sir.
may limit sa pagbibigay ng merit, pero sa newbie rank walang merit jan. magsisimula ka lang magkaron ng merit kapag nag member rank kana, pero ung newbie up to jr. member rank wala pa.

Sorry, bro. Parang merong kulang sa reply mo lalong-lalo na sa ini-highlight ko. So, magsisimula siyang magkaroon ng merit kung member na siya? HOW??? Wink

Merit is better explained in this thread, Merit & new rank requirements If you have some questions, clarifications you may join the discussion if you wish.
842  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: February 01, 2018, 01:33:51 AM
I already don't like the way clicking on +merit takes you away from the thread.  Can you please have it open in a new window?
Agree 100% with this.  A new window, or maybe just code in a little box next to the post where you can type the Merit you want to give and then hit Give or something.
Instead of posting you 100% agree, you should have given me 100 merit.  Smiley
Press your middle mouse button when trying to open a link to open it in a new window. Problem solved. Now you should have given me 200 merit. Tongue

Watching.

Wow, it's great! I'm searching Google how to solve this problem because bbcode is far different from html. You're really great for helping people. Thank you.
843  Economy / Services / Re: ☯☢☢[Order Now]☢☢☯ BB Code for your Signature Rank on: January 31, 2018, 10:50:39 AM

Hello, if you need a BB code signature design, in very cheap price you're in the right place!

    • For Legendary & Hero = 0.013 BTC only!
    • For Senior Member = 0.01 BTC only!
    • For Full Member = 0.007 BTC only!
    • For Member = 0.003 BTC only!

MEMBER TO LEGEND FOR ONLY 0.03 BTC

Hello, mate! Do you think the above prices are fair enough? It's 2018, so please update your post, because I find the prices too expensive considering that the service you're selling is nothing but BB codes and not printed on canvass and/or tarpaulins. And even if they're printed (or even in t-shirts) the prices too much considering the price of Bitcoin today, $10129.90 (January 31, 2018).

    • For Legendary & Hero = 0.013 BTC ($131.01) only!
    • For Senior Member = 0.01 BTC ($101.30) only!
    • For Full Member = 0.007 BTC ($70.91) only!
    • For Member = 0.003 BTC ($30.39) only!

MEMBER TO LEGEND FOR ONLY 0.03 BTC  ($303.90)

Not sure if you already know the following posts which I think should be merited. Also, I think everyone needs to know it before they join and/or invest in any ICO projects.

    hi there

i really like the idea that QuestionAuthority had and i will try to do it in Altcoin Discussion.

    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827596.0

Again why: Because i am reading and writing in the Altcoin Sub. And i think that there are Altcoins that are good. E.g. i like the idea behind BAT.

I won't ask you a couple of questions about how bitcoin works and you will answer them. I don’t care if you take some time to research the answer if you come up with the correct answer. That just means I’ve made you learn more about bitcoin than you knew previously.

You will get Merit from me
    • if you tell me something that i don't know yet.
    • Or just surprise me. Tell me something that you think everybody needs to know.
    • Update: or show me the post that you think should have been merited.

I have a lot to learn about Bitcoin and i have a lot to learn about Altcoins too.

Yes. It's a nice idea. I would suggest not to limit it to just Altcoin Discussion, please include Service Announcement and Bounties as well. I say this because I've noticed there are lots of ICO SCAM being posted and/or being announced on the Service Announcement and Bounties sections, and so, I think it's high time to cleanse those sections of scammers who kept on coming back victimizing investors on ICO projects, as well as bounty participants of their earnings. It's just a suggestion.  Smiley
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] BitHub – Digital Asset Exchange [New York] on: January 29, 2018, 11:15:07 AM
    Hi!

Could you tell me who is in your development team? I couldnt find it on your website nor in your whitepaper

Sorry for a late response. Absolutely. Our team is made up of people from such companies as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and AOL. We also have experience working at a VC backed startups. We'll share profiles as soon as we hit the Soft Cap of the ICO.

Can't find any contract or smart contract on your website. Is there a contract for pre-ICO and contracts that have been posted on GitHub? I presumed there's none as it's not embodied in your website and/or your whitepaper. And I think it's mandatory before the ICO starts there should be a contract for automatic assets transfer that contains a written set of rules for early investors written in the smart-contract.
848  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WHEN BITCOIN WILL REPEAT ITS HISTORY CHART on: January 29, 2018, 07:56:53 AM
mga 2020 siguro tataas na ng sobra yang bitcoin lalo na ngayun ibat ibang bansa gumagawa na sila ng sarili nilang cryptocurrency kaya nagpullout ang japan kasi mag lalaunch sila ng sarili nila. tapos tataas ng sobra sobra si bitcoin kasi dadami o lalaki ang demand ng bitcoin sa 2020 the more demand the highest price will come.

Oh, yes. As the price of Bitcoin increases, the fees allocated per each transaction will also increase. Btw, what's your basis that Bitcoin demand in 2020 would be higher? Just asking, because there's news report (www.cnbc.com) last December 2017 that Bitcoin's price could exceed the $100,000 mark before the end of 2018. So, not 2020!  Smiley
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW] Aura - smart contract ledger - YouStock - tokenized selfhood on: January 28, 2018, 04:50:45 PM
Btw, everyone involved with Aura right now is going to be a Multi-Millionaire.

As soon as it is on an exchange, we can buy it at a low price, and I have a bunch of people who aren't good with computers who are right now waiting to buy it when it is cheap on the exchange, because they don't know how to mine, and can't figure it out, so they are just going to buy it instead.

Yes, it's a nice idea. When do you plan to have it on an exchange? I would be glad if it's on Bittrex. By the way, can you add it to MinerGate so we could mine it there?
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Minergate vs Nicehash on: January 28, 2018, 03:42:09 PM
I think NiceHash I am new to mining and at the time that I was about to start mining NiceHash got some issues, and so I have no other alternative but MinerGate. I'm using it until now and got no problem. Btw, I've downloaded Speccy v1.31.732 (by Piriform) to monitor what's happening inside my rig.

851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with 2 GPU, will My PSU works? on: January 28, 2018, 01:01:29 PM
    Yes it will work fine.

You can also run even a 3rd card but you would run out of PCIe connectors.

    Thank you so much !
    I am using this PSU
    https://www.flipkart.com/corsair-vs550-550-watt-psu/p/itmdg36xx8yzgjrs?affid=salescueli&affExtParam1=10067CL9255Xjcucqztxk0000a17032i3&pid=PSUDG34775NHYDHK

My motherboard only got 2 pcie shots  Sad

I will built a mining rig when graphics card price will go down again.... Currently everyone selling rx570/rx580 for more $600-$700... thats crazy!! I got lucky I found small local computer shop who is selling it for normal price and it was the last piece...

That's great! Here in my country graphics cards are so expensive and hard to find at present... there's a shortage I think, so maybe it's one of the reasons why the price soars high.
    yup shortage everywhere

and on tomhardware a moderator said its not good to use this psu with 2 GPU's Is it true?
    http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3626667/clocking-afterburner-psu-graphics-card.html

I think they're right. There will a shortage of power as other hardware there (CPU, Ram, HDD) also relying on your 550 PSU. I would recommend you to use a 750w PSU or if you're planning to add additional GPUs (2 or 4 GPUs) in the future 1000w or 1500w would be a better choice.

Anything 8+ GPU rigs for sale? What you guys got? Also happy for any links to reputable mining rig distributors you've used and had success with in the past.

Also, if any Zcash miners want to share their experience, I'm always happy to learn something!

    Happy mining!

There are lots on sale on Facebook, mining rigs, rig cases, graphics cards, PCI-E risers and other mining hardware. Simply search this keyword, mining rig for sale on Facebook and you're done.

    thank you!

You're welcome. Well, this is a forum, a place for open discussion on issues and interest, exchange and sharing ideas on the topic and/or subject. That's what I thought a forum is made for.

855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Did GPU prices just double in the last few weeks on: January 28, 2018, 03:04:45 AM
Retail pricing for any cards that can be used for mining has gone up 10-25% compared to last month. Double is only if you don't mind getting screwed or want the cards now with minimal effort.

10-25% is still affordable for small miners. But here in my country, the price goes up to over 100%! The GTX 1070ti one can buy for only $400 (more or less) last year is now over $1000 depending on the brand. The sad thing is its availability, it's harder to find these days... I suspect retailers are hoarding the cards for more profits.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: January 28, 2018, 02:49:15 AM
Two reasons why GPU mining will never die.

1.New GPU-s will be released every 6 months or at max every 1 year.
2.New GPU friendly coins will be released.

End of story: GPU mining will continue for quite a while, no need to worry about that.

Fact: Actuall a rig of mine with 6 x RX 570 with perfect bios modification and total hashrate in eth 0.182GHS is making 0.0017 BTC daily while a S9 is making 0.0012 BTC daily. This shows that a GPU mining at this moment is more powerful than a S9.

The problem is on this month, January 2018, prices of graphics cards have gone up over 100% compared to that of December 2017 last year. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Ti MINI 8GB GDDR5 256-bit for example, the price last year was more or less $480 and but now it's $1177 and like other brands, it's very hard to find nowadays here in the Philippines.

858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My first mining rig! :O on: January 26, 2018, 04:08:58 PM
You should spread out your risers more so the GPUs don't dump their heat on each other. As for Windows, plug one GPU DIRECTLY into the PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard and install Windows. You don't want to use the risers until you know the OS is stable and set.

When it comes to connecting the risers to the motherboard, I do one at a time and reboot in between confirming that the OS sees the GPU. This way in case a riser is bad (they are notorious for poor quality), I know which one is causing the issue.

Well said. Thank you for this post I'll use this as a guide because I am also starting to put up my first mining rig. The open-air rig case (for 6 GPU) I ordered has already arrived and so, I'll start setting it up once I completed all the hardware needed.
    859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: January 26, 2018, 03:29:49 AM

They Giant B people will be crying@!!!!

3600USD and LBY only paying 70USD per machine..

    X10 were heaps better value!!!

ROI in less than 2 months? Not sure why I would be crying...
my two x10 cost $1450 each and have been
making $65 to 75 each constantly since i got em

def a wat better buy, the antminer A3 fucked up the baikal b ,  since it was very profitable at sia

kicking myself for not buying at least 5 atm
Sure, the X10 is a better buy, but I wouldn't say the Giant-B owners will exactly cry. At least not now. I have multiple of each, and I can't really complain.

When I visited their FB page what they're selling is Baikal Giant B. So, maybe they wanted to dispose of all their Giant B before they start selling x10. Well, it's only my presumption as they don't reply to comments more especially those who want to buy it.
