Maybe you meant buy a real stock with money. I'm pretty sure everyone here counts their investment as real money.

Well personally, the moment I converted that money into BTC I considered it gone. So if I make any money from BTC, it will all be gravy Smiley

+1

Not to mention: money I can afford to lose... mmm gravy

When there is a large gap in the margins someone will buy or sell 1-10 shares seeing if people will bite, and they have big time today. This would be illegal on a regulated market and honestly shouldn't show a change unless its a larger percent of the daily volume.

metals, forex and commodities are all regulated markets and this kind of trading goes on all the time. It's what high freq traders do looking to sense price direction - both publicly and on dark pools.

Precious Metals are insanely manipulated, just look at the squeeze on Gold/Silver on over the past 2 months... it's blatant.

That being said, our entire US market is massively manipulated.

If you think the SEC is watchdogging and regulating to any decent effect, you're giving them way too much credit. They're under the thumb of the powers that be.

Anyone noticed that $AMC at Bitfunder.com paid ฿0.00000517 per share to total 6,400,000 shares which 16yTynjmSe5bsRGykDaaCL5bm2pxiEfcqC, I assume it's "AMC-TENDER", is getting paid for total 5,593,805 shares (5,593,805 shares * 0.00000517 = 28.91997185 BTC)?

So I believe there is no such thing as "Public investor's protection plan"( AMC "owners" just got paid 28.91997185 BTC). I am pretty sure that Mr. Slaughter knows that himself got paid over 28 BTC past few weeks when he set up the dividend payment. It's obvious calculation.

Plus, according to the introduction that Mr. Slaughter wrote, public investors will hold 40% of AMC and AMC "owners"(which is wrong because technically investors are owners, too http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/shareholder.asp) will hold 60%. But, it seems there are total of 5,941,329 shares on Bitfunder and 2,925,054 shares on BTC-TC which ONLY represent 37.15% (8,866,383/(8,866,383+15,000,000)) ownership while AMC "owners" holding 62.85% of Active Mining Corporation.

I do have years of experience in investing public companies but I think this is pretty suspicious. So be careful.
Just letting community know.

Thanks.

I find your post very confusing. On the point of public protection guarantee this exists, it's in the contract and dividends are and have been paid out and continue to be paid out to total of .0025 per share (IPO) price.

$ActiveMining on Bitfunder it says, "The first 10,000,000 ActiveMining shares have the privilege of getting all profits until BTC0.0025/share is paid, starting from the day when dividends begin to be paid."

But you know who just got paid, "AMC-TENDER" with total 5,593,805 shares.

the address:

16yTynjmSe5bsRGykDaaCL5bm2pxiEfcqC

that you refer to above, does not exist.

crawl off back to the trollbox from whence you came, foul young FUDster.

Shareholder Update:

Hello everyone, I wanted to give a quick update to every investor as it pertains to this week’s proceedings.

We had several meetings yesterday, namely the meeting with eASIC which went extremely well.  The ground work has been laid and everything is in motion for the NRE as planned down to the smallest of details.  I caution everyone that it will take us a couple of weeks to complete the painstaking process of getting all the funds converted and on to eASIC.  Please understand for business and legal reasons that we cannot go into any more detail at this time.  I would like to say that the future for Active Mining and its shareholders is exceptionally bright and I am over enthused with how this week has played out.  An official announcement will be released in due course.

Kenneth E. Slaughter, CEO/CTO
Virtual Mining Corporation
Active Mining Corporation

Thanks for the update. So the funds for the NRE has yet to be paid and will be paid sometime in August to start the process of getting the chips manufactured? Would like clarification in regards to when they might be paid to the ball can start rolling.

Did you not just read the above?

We are entering a new phase, where I will need more time to work on the business to make it successful for everyone.  So I will be getting some help here in the thread.  This help takes a little more time to get the information processed for posting in the thread.  So at the point you are talking about, the information had not be processed, so I did not mention anything about it.  I hope this answers your question.

and by the sounds of it he will be trying to get help from us.  If there is any trust involved I will be selling my shares once and for all, because like i said, full liability needs to be on Ken, as he is the one who received the funds.  It would be so convenient to hire a thief off the forum, maybe an anonymous friend of his, to disguise his devious actions as someone elses.

I feel like this needs to be bumped

Look, Chicken Little, if you want to wallow in reactionary FUD and be "secure in your insecurities," by all means go right ahead in the privacy of your on making.

You are not contiributing anything of value with your paranoid meanderings. Not to mention your aggressive tone is highly offensive and totally unproductive.

ActiveMining, AMC Dividends paid [.00000517]

We don't care.  What's the update on the meeting with eASIC.  Why are you avoiding this?

Im sure has been in meetings all day. Give him a chance to step back and take a breath.

All he could say is "I will post about the meeting tomorrow" or something..
at least MENTION it, rather than focusing on a worthless dividend.  Dividends are MEANINGLESS until he gets some equipment running, yet he chooses to talk about it as he ignores the big question?  Come on..

snap it shut for awhile. turn off the computer. go to bed.

Geez.

the usual charm and subtly of a sledgehammer.

I actually DO care about dividends and CAN wait to hear about said meeting when it's been distilled down and made consumable for you ferocious share holders.

Quick tip: you can transfer your shares to yourself and set a value if you want to set a starting value on all of your new ACTIVEMINING shares.

Just relaying my experiences here.  I just transferred to myself and my value analysis is now correct.  No problems encountered.

Hey dhenson,
just curious, did you enter your Wighted Average Paid? and if so, how did you calculate that figure?

If you bought them all that the same price its easy, if you didn't its a little tougher. Guess you can look back at your history to find out what you paid and transfer them at those prices.

Yeah looking back at trade history, the majority of my shares were bought at the original price, but then I bought more after the wall came down so my prices are all over the place.

If I put just the basic BTC0.0025 price it's not quite accurate.

Does anyone have a good formula or better yet XLS template for figuring out Weighted Average Paid?

EDIT: it kinda sucks that we have to figure this out on our own?

In the transfer section, you just put your username in the "to" box (case sensitive) yes?  Just making sure for my own transfer.

AMC-PT shares on BTC-TC have been moved over to the ActiveMining ticker.

Cheers.

My Value analysis showing I have no shares, will this update soon?

I've got like 3 support requests about this already.  Wink

The value analysis is based on past trades.  ACTIVEMINING shares at this point essentially have none.  ;(

It's like if you had tendered AMC-PT to Ken, then he tendered you back ACTIVEMINING.  The shares you would receive would have no value history.

burnside,
what would you suggest as a starting value based on history?

That's tricky... I think it's different for everyone.  You could go back through your trade history (download the CSV if necessary) and figure out your average purchase prices... definitely no easy answer though, sorry about that.

okay duh that was easy; just set the value to BTC0.0025 and badabingbadaboom...

thanks

EDIT: although I need to figure weighted average based on buying shares after the BTC0.0025 initial offering... incase anyone is doing the same.
