Are plans still on with the visit to the office and meeting with Ken? Who's going?

Babefoot is going tomorrow (Saturday). Update to follow.

Any last minute ideas before I leave tomorrow?  What helpful information do you guys want to see that cannot be obtained through the forum?

Not sure that if this was addressed already or if it's allowed - but pictures of equipment, team, etc. time stamped.

I'm sure general impressions of Ken, the current (if nascent) setup etc would be useful. Might help put a few minds at ease on this thread if they are positive!  Smiley

Also, guys, I have paid for babefoot's gas. If any of you would like to send some additional satoshis babefoot's way to help cover the time and any misc expenses, that would be much appreciated!

what's barefoot's bitcoin addy??

BTC-TC wall is at 1,922,000 now, so that's 19,664 sold in just a few hours. Smiley

If not before, both walls will be gone quickly after the 20,000 avalon chips arrive. That's a massive TH increase for the current share price.

ActiveMining and AMC are creeping closer and closer to .0025. It's just a matter of time.

Oh...

Here's some food for thought. That wall that you see over there yonder. It's not as big as you think, now with the price of BTC/USD rising.

Assuming the profit taking frenzy doesn't ensue...

Correct me if I'm wrong but; besides the fun of these as a novelty item/stocking stuffers, I still don't see how USB Erupters have any kind of decent ROI...

Mining roi is never but ebay roi is a couple weeks  Smiley

ah ha!

If you use can dispose of 1/2 of your miners at the right price the other half is essentially free.  Dramatically improves mining ROI.

yeah but yeaahh but yeah but... there's a ton of these on ebay. they don't seem to be flying off the shelves.

this whole thread is swiftly degrading into a moron parade.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Five Paradoxes of Bitcoin on: July 11, 2013, 08:20:01 PM
I seriously find it hilarious that people on here think they will be able to just encroach on a country's currency while being incredibly open and obnoxious about it and the governments of the world will just be ok with it.

O Doyle Rules! O Doyle Rules! O Doyle Rules! O Doyle Rules! O Doyle Rules! O Doyle Rules!

yeah... pretty much ignore button'd you on that troll.

lol @ Bitcoin being open source

Interested but uninformed person: "how do I get them?"

Bithead: "well you log onto www.mtgox.com and after agreeing to some fees..."

spare me

Not sure I get the correlation between buying bitcoins on mtgox and open source software...

Clearly ken's response means that he does not plan to pay out dividends. Oh well time to see what effect this has on the stock price.

The main problem is that there will be little to no accountability on whatever happens to these pre-order sales figures.

I plan on pay dividends and a lot of them.  I want to make all the Investors in AM very successful, because if the Investors are successful I will be successful.

That Tarzan talk "I PLAN ON PAY DIVIDENDS" doesn't really work with us.  You were specifically asked if pre-orders would manifest into dividends right away or once the product is shipped -- which you have still failed to directly answer.

Geeeez....VE
This bullying is getting outta hand.

We are all anxious for this project to be successful.

Sorry if this has been addressed already, can't seem to find answer:

Just to be clear; if I'm holding AMC-PT on BTCT should I just sit tight and wait for the change over to Active Mining? Or should I go ahead and tender my shares of AMC-PT?

Or tender them... since that was what we were initially instructed to do...

AMC To ActiveMining Tender Offer Announcement

Shares of AMC Cooperative will need to be tendered to AMC Belize.

This offer may be withdrawn at any time.  Any Tender Offers
not accepted will be returned with any accumulated dividends.

Tender Offers will be processed FIFO as fast as possible.

Tender Offer expires July 31, 2013

This process is less than clear.

not really. sit tight or tender, both advisements are being brandied about all over this thread.

EDIT:

at that point according to past posts BTC-TC should auto swap over the shares for BTC-TC Share holders

Burnside was talking with Ken about that. That is a possibility. The other, is that, you will have to send the shares to ken to get them manually transferred over once AM-PT is approved.

I think per our conversation in PM's that Ken is on board with an automated transition.  Assuming ActiveMining is approved, the actual share transfer will be painless.

Cheers.

i dont know but similar selloff of tat.asicminer asset on bitfunder and havelock...

i suspect that asicminer is being devalued on purpose.. but what do i know?  Wink

my guess: TAT posted a reply from friedcat that hints at statements coming later (financials on July 23rd) - and says that Rockxie's statements (which mentioned July 10 for blades) had dates that were unofficial.
For speculation, you might want to ask in the speculation thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235763.0. This thread is about BTC-TC.
OFFICIAL UPDATE

That's odd, I could have sworn this particular thread is for discussing [BTCTC][[ASICMINER-PT]] - Public trading of ASICMINER shares as the name of the title suggests,

And that this: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange w/ Options, DRIP, 2FA, API, CSV, etc. is the thread about BTC-TC.

...my bad.
