I'm curious why we would mine on a pool as a mining farm? Would we not have enough TH to solo-mine?
362  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: January 01, 2014, 01:54:52 AM

My order has arrived.  Will post the unboxing video ASAP.  Exciting!

This is what $2.5 mil worth of VMC gear looks like

crumbshit strikes again.

EDIT: what's really entertaining is this guy's most likely thinner, has more hair and is better looking than crumbs.

Mining for Bitcoins in Iceland

He can always claim the shares are 'simply not there' anymore.

He can claim whatever he wants, those that followed instructions would have screenshot-proof of share transfers that when combined with Ukyo's records would be more than enough to confirm ownership of shares

he was making a funny about WeEx/ButtFunder bitcoins "simply not being there anymore."

Is it crazy to think we might get our Wednesday update on Christmas Day?

Dangnabit I hope so.

So nice & quiet in here... May there be peace on thread and good news to men this day.

It's Schrodinger's ASIC.  The project is both alive and dead because we can't look into the manufacturing process at all.

...
Blah blah blah blah blah (/Face palm).

As for waiting another month or two for Chromawallet we may as well, we've waited this long. The Colored Coins prospect is definitely more appealing and promising than another tired, sketchy and soon-to-be-closed-down-or-disappear "securities exchange." I also most certainly would like to avoid a potential shitstorm like the Yuko/BF fiasco…

here's something fun to discuss:
(oops if it's off topic)

and copy and paste

"I've done a bit of blockchain exploring.

The block in question where all the bitcoin days were destroyed is this one:

https://blockchain.info/block/00000000000000048445e1220a78e53de15c74160ffbe4dad0b52099560e045f

About 120,000 btc were moved. There are many transactions in this block in the 4,500-5,000 btc range. I followed the source addresses back in time. The ones I've looked at all trace their heritage to this monstrous transaction from 27 January 2011:

https://blockchain.info/tx/8f8210694d3631a88ff410c573d80caf57db1d8af397bd47687aa4e4c1802464

A single transaction moved 400,000 btc to a single address; this one:

https://blockchain.info/address/1AYtnRppWM7tWQaVLpm7TvcHKrjKxgCRvX

So whoever made the transaction yesterday had 400,000 btc in a single address in 2011. If it isn't Satoshi, who the hell is it?

Note that that 1AY... address had some transactions on 26 November this year; shortly before the ATH on 28 November. A huge whale, perhaps the biggest single holder of btc in existence, is stirring. The question is, why?

EDIT: 400,000 btc in early 2011 was almost 10% of all btc in existence. In a single address. Wow."

wait, did I totally get jacked? I've been mining at 2+Mh/s for the last 3 days and was close to 96,000 shares. I jumped off this morning due to some problems with my rig and when I went to get on later today, everything was wiped clean… no shares and no "estimate" of LTC and nothing in my balance.

what am I missing?

EDIT: nothing huh burnside? scam scam everywhere. can't even mine anymore without shady bullshit going on in this shit.
Burnside's is a PPLNS pool you get paid for your percentage on the last 500,000 shares. if you go away for a while and 500,000 shares are mined by others before the next block is found all of the proceeds go to current active miners. he explains it quite well on the website.

So if I accumulate 96,000+ shares and leave for a sec, those shares are void???

I've read the site through left and right, nowhere does it say that you forfeit your shares if you leave briefly.

If it does say something to that effect, please clarify it for me.

Ok I'll bite: LM pat yourself on the back some more, you 12 yr old troll.

I've actually got a life and don't spend every minute of it glued to this dismal thread like you. Seriously? Who really has the time to key up a long winded, over-thought, self absorbed, no value soliloque like that except an outta work nutjob or a 12 yr old. Whats the point of badgering people and making enemies? ...Other than getting your jollies off by getting a rise outta people ala crumbs.

It would be nice if it paid off but I could give a shit if this all goes belly up, I'm not that heavily invested for it to matter... just enough to make a nice difference. Sounds to me, the way you bait boast and troll your big balls around here, that's not the case with you.

Keep trying lil fella, although I doubt it, you'll get there one day.

And now: back to my awesome Southern California lifestyle.

Have a wonderful weekend ACTM.

@crumbs: I challenge your sorry ass to stay off this thread for one whole day. CHALLENGE.

Now, since I ignore you, of course the only way I'll know you've made challenge is by not seeing your silly name on the posts.

Please, for your own sake, go get a life and stop incessantly posting delusional nonsense on these threads.

@crumbs

In the same way that there's no way to prove that your deleted posts were not impartial, constructive, useful and vaguely humorous?

Get real man.  Your are really scraping the barrel here I have to say.  It's hilarious!

So because there is an edit feature on this forum we can prove that Ken is breaking promises left right and centre due, in part, to the fact that no-one has the ability to recall pre-edited posts?

If I were you, I would sit this one out.  Come back when you have something that the people you are trying to influence will swallow, and stop insulting their intelligence.

EDIT:  If this were a boxing match it would have been stopped two pages ago.  I've yet to see crumbs take such a beating and it's a pleasure to be a part of that.  Grin

If a troll falls in the ignore forest… does anyone hear it?

... Let the company sink and those who wish to sink with it have the right to do so.

If you were quietly going down with the ship, no one would object -- it's your right to do so.
The problem's no one's quietly drowning here.  There's unsettling talk about trading, which means you're planning to sell your tickets to the Titanic, so that someone may drown in your stead.
I'm sure you understand how distasteful that is.

Oh gimme a break, you are so full of shit… and could give a flying fuck about "unsuspecting investors" or anyone with you're antisocial "behind the safety of the wall" taunting.

With you're abusive, psychotic and obsessive behavior I'd peg you as a scammer way before any other troll or member on here.

You're not here to save anyone but yourself.
