863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: September 04, 2016, 10:24:17 AM
Most of the altcoins start with a crowdfunding and with investing (ICO) at most of these funds are accumulated in bitcoin.
By this not only that these altcoins become popular but also bitcoin become more popular because through bitcoin they are investing in another cryptocurrency.

Indeed. Maybe doubling bitcoin could be possible in investing with altcoins. They have been looking for a way to double it, it might not be that fast but it could happen if the invested alt will really shine.

I haven't invested in any ICO but it contains the risk, because the price after the ico can drop and you can lose.
But also it is a good opportunity to make a profit, I saw many coins that their exchange rate was way to high than the ICO price.
864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked| 7170 BTC stolen | DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE | on: September 04, 2016, 09:10:09 AM
Have we a news?
bter where's my money?
Unfortunately they don't give back to us our money.
I haven't heard from them for many months, their support don't reply or reply after few months which is a long delay.

I guess those who lost their money at Bter can safely forget about it. Just stay away from this exchange in the future. In fact, better stay away from any exchange out there (Bitfinex and Criptsy users would confirm)...

Don't invest what you can't leave to rest

We have take a good lesson from bter and other exchanges that were hacked recently.
But the bter hack was in February 2014 and it has been a while since they don't give back our money, i have a good amount there unfortunately.
865  Economy / Services / Re: Extra 1million emails and phone number from any site, blast ad - softwares for $2 on: September 04, 2016, 08:30:40 AM
i came to realized that most people here are looking for free things and not willing to pay for services no matter how cheap it is. I therefore cannot give any free copy, anyone willing to buy should buy it because i am willing to use escrow for all transactions.
     Thank you

But you didn't reliazed that you can give a vouch copy to a trusted member or to a higher rank.
And send a vouch which after that you receive a review about your product or service which most of the time increases the number of sales.

868  Economy / Services / Re: Is there a service I can buy Playstation games with? on: September 03, 2016, 01:03:46 PM

 Hi ,

I would like to buy playstation games with bitcoin but I am not sure if there is a trustworthy place to do that. I do not want to pay upto 60-70$ do a stranger who looks trustworthy on the forum. I am looking for a well established place that I can buy it.

You may check the Digital goods board but a safe way to buy playstation games is by buying first Sony PlayStation Gift Card and then purchase whatever game you want.
A safe place where to buy Sony PlayStation Gift cards is gyft http://www.gyft.com/buy-gift-cards/sony-playstation/

873  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: September 01, 2016, 10:06:15 PM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

This question is very tricky because we don't know or don't have the knowledge to predict after 20 years what will happen with the internet neither with the bitcoin.
I think that you should count a million dollar equivalent in bitcoin, so around 2,000BTC or more I think should be enough.

If you are a bitcoiner then there is no age limit for retirement, you can earn bitcoin till you are alive, so if you get retire from full time job then you can get full time in bitcoins after that.

When you get retired sometimes means that you are not able to work anymore so bitcoin is just money that is for the work we do, so just a kind of money.
Thinking from now about the retirement is a bit early but at least thousands of bitcoin at current value should be enough but who know what price will have bitcoin after 20 years.
874  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Audi A8 D3 (2002-2010) on: September 01, 2016, 09:52:35 PM
I'm happy to see someone selling his car for bitcoin, what I want to ask is about the year because you say in the title 2002-2010.
The price don't know if is fair because there are many models of this and depending on the year, these a8 are heavy but have great interior but the fact that the engine has been replaced is not good.

Buying a car by internet isn't a big deal, probably the people will check the car in RL before buy...

Same here SmartIphone... Really happy to see people offering bitcoin as payment method for a car... Good luck with the sale Mariowot, it's a beautiful car!

The OP was online a hour ago and I expected a reply from him but maybe he didn't see our comments.
Buying through internet is a big deal because you can't check in detail the car features, scratches, stability and other physical things, anyway selling for bitcoin is good and if this car worth more than 11k€ then it worth buying especially with bitcoin.

876  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: September 01, 2016, 09:47:05 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

I think I have saved some bitcoins by earning online and by investing from my cash.
Your plan to save 1/4 of your paycheck is a good idea if it does not limit you to spend your other parts of you salary.
I liked to trade bitcoin for altcoins and vise versa but because of lots of dumps I have paused and I'm stucked with that amount for the moment.

Yeah even my amount is stuck in altcoin at a moment and I am in negative at a moment so I am hoping some price rise in next few days so at least it can take me to break even point.

I have invested and trader many different altcoins and saying the truth i couln't sleep well because of the stress.
And the trading consumes lots of time if we don't use any bot like c.a.t but I think saving bitcoin is better as bitcoin stays there where it is, like the clean gold.
877  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Need help with virtual credit cards (VCC) on: September 01, 2016, 09:41:21 PM
You are right, It is VISA and you can't pick the first digits of the virtual card. They are issued by provider. All websites I know that offers virtual (bitcoin) debit cards I asked already and even ordered some of them, so far no one was what I am looking for. They are so special for me because they working for me on some websites, when others don't.

Ask this guy as this provides lots of virtual credit cards and maybe he have any of the special prefixes for visa cards.
I have seen also on other forum so he should be trusted but always trade through escrow: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1190159.0
878  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 01, 2016, 09:38:59 PM
I had some time to burn and decided to make my own signature campaign overview table generator. It's coded in Actionscript 3 (the only language I know...) which makes it a flash program. You can access it here: http://darkstar.ml/sigcamp/
Adobe Flash is required to use it, but no downloading is required. Page will show up empty if you don't have Flash.

I congratz for the initiative to create this tool but I tried to open from many different browsers and I always get a blank page, on chrome I think it freezes a bit my screen but still no result even after half a minute.
879  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Need help with virtual credit cards (VCC) on: September 01, 2016, 09:21:16 PM
I haven't seen anywhere where you can pick the first digits of the virtual card, you may ask the websites that offers virtual (bitcoin) debit card and ask them if they can ask the issuer about these prefixes.
Btw, why are these prefixes so special for you? Aren't all visa cards the same?
