Ah, that's the kind of thing I was talking about. Bulk order is going to skew things for sure.

I just read that Tesla is number one on the list of most sold cars in Europe for September, the firs time a non European car has the first place, and also the first time an electric car has the first place. I also read that they got a order for 100 000 cars from some US entity. I wouldn't count them out just yet.
That sounds suspicious. Tesla just isn't capable of the volume of other car manufacturers. Not saying that it isn't true but that it deserves closer inspection.

I knew a devastating crash was coming!

- So Beijing Biden, do you think inflation is closer to 20% or 25% this year?
- Oh I don't know, I can't count that high. Wait, who are you again? And what are you doing later? Nah. She's about 50 years to old for him.

I've stopped using Google as a search engine on the consumer side. My default now has been duckduckgo for awhile, maybe the past 5 years or so. Try it. Set all your browsers on all your devices to use the duck and just delete or remove google. You won't miss it.
Concerns are now arising about DDG. Brave seems to be the ethical search engine of the moment.

I have the feeling that the pyramid would be a lot of effort.

Big mac?

Ethereum is much like the stonk market:
It'll always get pumped, even though it is complete dog shit.
The biggest scam in crypto history (next to XRP).
I'm going to have to take exception there. For XRP to be a scam in crypto history, it would have to be a crypto.

(...) I'd say we'll have a laugh about this in a few months, but in truth, we probably won't, because by then, we'll probably have forgotten completely about this "just another FUD". ^ ^ ^ Don't tell me we're talking about that Tesla guy again... You mean the Hyperloop guy?

Pretty sure that will be deemed Ex Post Facto and deemed Unconstitutional if it even makes it to the final bill. You can't have punitive tax policy put into effect after the decision has already been made. The result would be far too destabilizing and I think it will be nullified in the courts.
Sadly we now live in a post-rational world.

So yeah. I've been debt averse all my life. Maybe it's better to take on some debt than sell some corn. Thinking about this.
I view debt as risk. It can place you in a bad position if things go wrong (it's basically a slightly different take on options trading). Doesn't mean it shouldn't be done but consider all the angles.

Trying REAL HARD not to go on a political tirade here
Don't let us stop you. US tax code is pathological bullshit.

Seems bitcoinity might be overloaded? Very bursty and frequently missing the dopamine-inducing "new ath" notification.

He was right. $640k per corn sure is enough for me.
You say that now...
|
|
|
Looking forward to this (this year, perhaps, perhaps?): Bill Gates says 640k should be enough for anyone.

|

Well, that'll teach me to have a lay-in, I guess...

If you were in a victim perspective regarding the situation, then I was about to launch the classical (oldie but a goodie) "they took our jobs" meme upon you.. and maybe substitute:
I consider that I learned a very important lesson about effort vs reward. Being the analytical type, I didn't take it personally but integrated it into my worldview.
