Sitting on 500 Kore at the moment... waiting on the new release on 10/14.
How soon will we know how many coins are needed for a masternode? It'd be nice to know well before the 14th to know whether or not I need to grab a few more.
Any idea on when this info will be released (hopefully, before the 14th)?
The number of coins will be Announced when ready. So far it is working in your favor as the price has retracted it bit. If it goes up exponentially prior to the announcement of the amount of coins so be it. I cant tell you what to do. MikeMike |

Really sorry for this. But there a tons of people like me with 0 knowledge.
Got into cryptos 1 year ago. Supporting the Kore project.
Can anyone point me in the direction to learn more about cryptos? Not the how does a master node work. Or how to buy on an exchange or what an atomic swap is. Or forks.
I mean the guts. The lingo. Are there courses? How do people get into this stuff? Are they computer engineers self taught? Where self taught?
I need to fill in a very large void. This is a revolution and people may not realize it yet but this going to be bigger than anyone has ever seen probably since electricity. And I want to understand it and it become part of it.

This could be more looked at like a simple wallet upgrade.

To ensure a smooth transition it is a simple drop-in replacement,
you copy/move the wallet.dat from .KoreCoin to .kore.
Perhaps we will even make a video tutorial..
NOTE:
ALWAYS backup your original wallet.dat and Password.

I have the same problem.... please DEV when this problem is gonna be solve... the wallet of XQN in coinexchange is down... they put these massage "Warning: The wallet appears to be offline currently. Please wait until the wallet is online to deposit funds."

I have known and fund only today this coin, and I find it surprising. I wanted to ask some questions at MikeMike before buying it: 1) if I buy Korecoin today on Bittrex exchange, can I immediately send it into my portfolio and get the conversion on October 14 with the new coin? or I leave my korecoin in Bittrex until October 14, awaiting conversion? 2) Will the coins always have 12 million, like the old version? 3) Korecoin have a precise roadmap with established dates? if it does not, when will it be public for us? 4) Interest pos is 15-30%, masternode is 40% -------- but for them our portfolio must be online 24/24, both for POS and for Masternode? Forgive my English and wish for your job!  Hi and thanks for your questions. 1) Bought coins can be immediately sent to an existing legacy KORE wallet and stake or you can leave them on Bittrex. Up to you. 2) We have kept the cap at a maximum of 12 million coins. There are almost 2 million now. 3) The new wallet and rebranding will have some of the info in a roadmap. Some we will not till they are ready. 4) Yes, both PoS staking coins or your Masternodes must be online 24/7 for you to receive the maximum rewards. Newb question...how do I start staking? qt says up to date with active connections. What's next? You need to deposit coins into the wallet and unlock the wallet for staking only. Thanks for dropping by the KORE Support thread in discord. Will finish following up on this with you there. |
