881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 12, 2023, 01:20:17 AM
I've been avoiding this part of the forum all day long.  I wanted to get home and stream the match before I let you guys spoil my opener, but here I am writing this 5 minutes in.  I just want to take this moment to reiterate how much I hate Manchester City.  Why do I hate them so much?  Let me count the whys:

  • Haaland is a beast.
  • De Bruyne is one of the smartest ballers in balldom
  • Guardiola rocks the manliest of manscaping
  • The depth of their squad is enviable

These guys are the best at what they do.  I just can't help but hate them.

Erling Haaland is a "monster on the field" who terrifies his opponents every time he touches the ball, legend has it that he still has the power to make opponents' legs involuntarily tremble when they get close to Haaland. Tongue

Anyway... Haaland was just fantastic, with both goals scored, it's safe to say he started this new season the same way he finished the last one... as an undisputed top scorer.

After the two goals won, it was easy to see that City were just managing the advantage and holding the game in the second half, but they still managed to score the third goal.

It may seem like it's too early to tell, but I'm not has de same opinion as you.... I love them Cheesy
City are favorites to win the Premier League
882  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 12, 2023, 01:09:28 AM
Those that keep their gambling habit a secret is it that they're not proud of what they are doing?.

Perhaps yes Undecided

I think the big issue is that there is still a lot of prejudice against people who participate in gambling.

Strangely, society does not see any problem against those who play in lottery bets that are generally legal in countries, but gambling is still seen as something illegal or immoral in many places.

I believe that this thought is the fault of the players themselves, who do not know how to control themselves, lose a lot of money, get into debt, steal and even kill (in extreme cases) to maintain their gambling addiction, and thus produce bad news about this type of entertainment.

While online casinos are seen as something for luxurious people with a lot of money, online casinos are seen by many as an environment for "marginal people", unfortunately... this is the perception I have and I believe it is the main reason for many players want to hide their gambling habits online.

to the Saudi league if any club shows interest in him. If not, he will eventually have to go to Inter Miami. unless he also ends up retiring like Gareth Bale.

It seems to me that Eden Hazard is not in a big hurry to choose a club... at 32 years old he is analyzing very carefully what will be the next step in his career.

From what I've been reading on local sites here in Brazil, Botafogo (current leader of the main Brazilian championship) even tried to attract Hazard, at least the club got in touch with the player but it seems that he was not very successful in the negotiations.

But, I believe in your hunch that Saudi Arabia is the likely destination of Eden Hazard, or else in the MLS... after rejecting Inter Miami's proposal, Vancouver Whitecaps, from Canada and other clubs in the American league are also considering make a proposal to the player.

There are still many doubts, but I think these are the most likely destinations for Hazard.

- Estão acreditando que o Bitcoin tem futuro, ou;

886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fantasy Premier League 2023/24 on: August 11, 2023, 01:11:04 AM
Duelbits recently announced their FPL promotion (free to play) with a prize pool worth $100k. The only requirement is a duelbits account and you're good to go.

That's cool, I've been a Duelbits user for a long time, in addition to participating in its subscription campaign since the beginning.

$100k is a huge prize pool, good to see that Duelbits is also investing in this event and with no player limitations.
I've been looking at the rules now and I'd just like to highlight some that I thought were very important for anyone signing up for Duelbits....

The first and most important thing is to do this through the event's promotional page after being logged in, only then will it be possible to link the Fantasy Premier League account to Duelbits.
Another important point is the need for KYC if you win any prizes, so if you value the anonymity of your identity, do not aim to win a prize with this event.

Good luck and good games everyone!
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 11, 2023, 12:41:48 AM
I think addiction starts after you win, even if it's just once, that's when you start gambling recklessly and you also start betting higher.

I disagree with you, I believe it is possible to become addicted without the person ever being able to significantly multiply their value. I can still cite at least two scenarios that could prove you wrong:

1. Seeing other people making a lot of money, be it a close friend or a relative: The person who is about to become addicted will think.... "if he/she won, then I can too", and then bet all the money. money you have (and don't have either) with the aim of replicating the same achievement that the other person had.

2. Believe in miraculous strategies. Here I mention for example the Martingale in which, initially, the person has the false illusion that he will never lose all his money, because the losses are "always" recovered by a victory that will inevitably come after a sequence of defeats. So that person keeps increasing the bets and his guarantee to be able to cover the losses until he doesn't have enough money anymore. In this case she won little by little, never witnessed a big win, but lost a huge amount in a short time.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 11, 2023, 12:17:39 AM
Have you experienced this feeling and what are the steps that you've taken to fight this Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS)

Do you think people who have a chance to make a lot of money should be aware of this and do you know what you're going to do if you won a big amount of money?

Many people think that the worst symptom of this syndrome is impulsive financial decisions, but there are many people who for fear of not knowing what to do with so much money, end up going the other way... develop symptoms such as anxiety, depression and social isolations. Of course that the first thing that a person needs to do is recognize that have a psychological problem and then seek professional help, as a therapist is the best person to understand emotions and develop an "action plan" to help the person deal with it. this situation.

I also believe that family help is fundamental in this case, but you need to be careful to ask for help from those who can really help you and not attract people who are only interested in your money and who can take advantage of this fragility to deceive or steal you. And after your emotions are "in place", look for other professionals to help you invest your money in healthy sources of income that can make your fortune increase instead of decrease.
889  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Que VPN vocês recomenda? on: August 10, 2023, 01:59:56 AM

890  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Banco do UK limita as transferencias para comprar cripto on: August 10, 2023, 01:51:51 AM

891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 10, 2023, 12:50:40 AM
Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

I've had both experiences... good and bad in the same day, unfortunately the bad thing is that it came last to annihilate my gains.
I don't remember exactly the numbers, but I must have started with something equivalent to $2 and in a few plays... 10 at the most, I got two jackpots and a few more multipliers. I thought it was my lucky day and continued playing instead of taking part of the winnings.
Unfortunately luck lasted very little and the victories that were frequent before became very rare and extremely small to the point of making me lose all the value gained in less than an hour.

At least that served as a lesson for me, as it was the "initial trigger" that made me rethink how I was spending my time and money on gambling, and then start making more conscious gambles.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2023, 12:43:24 AM
Jakson is actually not bad, but he is indeed not sharp enough up front. Pochettino really has to have another alternative for a striker. and Vlahovic would be a perfect fit for Chelsea's front line.
Chelsea should not have a problem with the price. but now the competition for the Juventus striker is getting busier. Munich is also reportedly offering a player exchange to get Vlahovic. if Chelsea are not fast maybe they will struggle up front this season.

I think you shouldn't count on Vlahovic at Chelsea... Because Juventus want 40 million euros and more in the exchange negotiation between Lukaku and Vlahovic. However, Chelsea have already made it clear that they will not accept paying more than half demanded by the Italians: 20 million euros and another 5 million in bonuses.

In fact, I think that this negotiation really shouldn't happen because not even Juventus fans accept Lukaku, who is clearly a player extremely connected to his rivals, Inter Milan.

My opinion is that the Blues should continue to seek negotiations with another club in Europe or even Saudi Arabia that have already expressed an interest in paying a good price for him.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: August 10, 2023, 12:33:14 AM
Yesterday games were really dissapointing. I cant believe how CORRUPBOL can make this to the teams.

First of all Bolivar goal was totally goal, it was no reason to denied that goal, luckily Bolivar can resist the whole game and pass in pelanty kicks. And the referees know they destroy them, for that they dont show red card to the bolivar player who kick in the chest a Paranaense player. Two big errors.

The other one game was River Inter, in this one for me its a big dissapointment, because River its the only team who can cut the brazilian supremacy, so i thinka gain the champion its gonna be from Brazil. One really idiot decision by the referees here was the cancel of Solari penalty, i know him ended shoot with two feets, but it wasnt his fault, the pitch was destroyed, so for me o you take the goal, or make him shoot again, but not cancel the shoot.

In fact, mistakes continue to happen and unfortunately this will not be the last, despite the fact that Conmebol already admitted yesterday afternoon that it was in fact wrong to annul Bolívar's goal against Athletico. But it seems to me that the error in this move was not made by the VAR, but by the referee who misinterpreted the "infraction", but in fact the contact did not have a disproportionate force to score a foul.

As for the goal annulled at Internacional  River, I think it was fair, because in fact there were two touches, regardless of the player's will or not, it's the same thing when a defender hits an attacker with a slide-tackled without touching the ball, it's not a play intentional, however it is configured as an "infraction" and needs to be punished in some way... in the case of the penalty this can only be done with the annulment of the bid, there is no middle ground.

Depende do quanto dinheiro estamos falando...

896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: August 08, 2023, 11:50:25 PM
Inter x River

Are you rooting against my Internacional?
All right, I understand you because because he lost 2-1 at Monumental de Nuñez last week, now Internacional needs to win by at least two goals difference to qualify... if they win in the "conventional" game by only a goal difference then the decision will go to penalties.

At least Internacional will have the support of 50,000 fans to boost it in this conquest, but I think that this will not be enough considering that it is in the worst sequence of the season with 7 consecutive games without winning (three defeats and four draws).

What gives me hope is that, historically, River Plate doesn't usually have good performances when playing as a visitor in the Libertadores... I hope that the excitement of the Colorado fans manages to discourage them.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 08, 2023, 11:41:51 PM
It's hard to know the result of the France-Australia game. But France is one step ahead for me.

Australia has the advantage of being the Host... certainly the thousands of fans that fill the stands are a passive factor that pushes France to play more confidently.
But the injury to the main player, Sam Kerr, is a big miss and I'm afraid that could be crucial for Australia.

My bet on this game is in favor of France... initially because it is fifth in the ranking of FIFA selections, it went through a complicated start in the competition. Second, because despite the goalless draw against Jamaica right in the championship's debut, it managed to recover very well with impressive victories against Brazil and in the sequence against Panama still in the group stage... then it thrashed Morocco in the round of 16 and in the my opinion is consolidating as a big favorite for this year's title.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 08, 2023, 11:29:07 PM
Surely we all know someone who won a lot of money in the lottery or gambling and that was the initial trigger to also start betting on luck, and the gambling sites and lotteries themselves use a lot of this advertising to publicize the prizes paid, showing other people that it is possible to win a lot of money and get rich with these bets.
My entry into gambling sites was a little different because in fact I started to earn money when I discovered the freebitco.in referral program, that really earned me a lot of satoshis with very little work because at the time it was still something quite new (there in 2017) and the site was very interesting.

And... personally, I have never been able to win a lot of money actually playing games of chance or the lottery.
899  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Império Binance pode estar perdendo poder? on: August 06, 2023, 02:55:45 AM

¹De acordo com o próprio site: CoinMarketCap ranks and scores exchanges based on the following: Web Traffic Factor; Average Liquidity; Volume, as well as the Confidence that the volume reported by an exchange is legitimate. Weights are assigned to the above-mentioned factors and a score from 0.0 to 10.0 is given to the Spot Exchange.
