Big big whales, traders and investors have been told to run away from crypto, and that's what they are doing. Huge amounts of money are leaving crypto at astonishing speeds. Only very little investors like all of you and maybe developpers are still holding this coins. Even big exchanges are getting rid of coins right now.

btw, i've been told that in two weeks , if things go like many people have been told in the G-20, ETH will go to about 200$ in two weeks time.

believe it or not, they've already done it. The moment they talked about regulations, it only took them 2 months to throw out of the business like 50% of the total capitalization of the cryptomarket. ETH has lost 54% of it's total value since January 2018, going from 133 billion to 58 billion today.

Every crypto is in Red, big traders and investors are running away from crypto because this volatility is madness. They are not in for technology, just for money. Like 99,9999999999% of all of you. If you actually cared about crypto, you would always keep, even at 4000$ per coin. But whenever it gets to a point where you get profit, you will sell. so please, don't lie.

They don't need to unplug a server to destroy it. It's as easy as forcing all exchanges to get personal info of the users, which are already doing, and then charge taxes

ETH got to almost 1100€ (around 1360$) with a total capitalization of 133 billion dollars. For ETH to get at 5.000$ it would have, AT LEAST to double the actual amount of ETH capitalization, which is RIGHT NOW at no more the 67 billion.

Are you saying that, suddenly, billions and billions of dollars are going to enter ETH with the enormous volatility that is has ?? are you F.Kidding?


I will tell you something. Investors and traders are leaving Cryptocurrency. If in no more than 2 months the situation stays the same or even get worse, no investor will invest money to bullfight the price, and bye bye to all.

Why? Because of this points

1st - gpu prices have sky-rocketed. RoI is about 426 days for a 6 gpus rig. That's too much. That's considering current prices. If this low bear trend continues, it will be worst.

2nd - Most of the people are mining ETH, but we are close to 100 million coins, the point where vitalik said he would apply casper, enabling a difficulty bomb to make it impossible to get ETH coins, and also migrating from PoW to PoS. It's unknown who will win money with that, and how will the system work.

3rd - the more people enter the pools, the less money you get due to the increase in difficulty. ETH mining difficulty is about 3,2. in the past (october 2017) Vitalik applied Byzantium reducing profit from 5 to 3 ETH coins and also reducing block length.

4th - The cost of electricity. It depends on your country. Mine (spain) is about 0,148€ (taxes included, which most people don't usually consider). In dollars would be about 0,18$ so big bill for me. and you have to condier this aspects.

So NO!!! mining is not worth nearly at all right now.

99% of them have NO FUTURE. and as soon as goverments implement regulations, it's still to be seen if even Bitcoin can survive.

in this last patch i've seen a nice increase in performance.

my 6 gpu rig was doing 188,7 with last version. With this one, same clocks , same everything, i'm doing 189,8. So that's a 1MH/s increase.

afaik power limit in Nvidia cards only refers to how much voltage is given to the core, not the ram. In fact, when you increase that power limit, the core clock goes up aswell. If that was the case that more power limit gives more ram "room" to hit higher frecuencies, ram speed would also run faster as you move the slider, but that does not occur. Moreover, i can garantee that even increasing to 116% the power limiit, will make no difference in how much can i push the ram.

Let me tell you something. Cryptocurrency is just a way of evading Taxes and money loundering. This is this way and will ever be.

i am a gamer myself, that's why i bought the card, but whenever i'm not playing, i thought i would be mining at 23-25mh/s (thought) since many RX 570 or 580 will do 30mh/s easy.

It's weird because in AMD cards, Micron is the best mem you can get (far better than samsung). Hynix is also ok to some extent. on the other hand, Samsung is the best on Nvidia cards.

i received the other day one gigabyte GTX 1060 6gb with Hynix memory , and ....it's bad.

I suppose noone here is a trader. Let me tell you something. It's not the same to see always green in your screen and jump in for the hype, than to have seen 2 big big mayor falls in just 2 months consecutively. One in February and another one right now that is going to crash the foundations of crypto for a loooooong time.

There is nothing comparable in normal bank trading like this. This major crash will be a big one. Money is leaving crypto at huge rates. Brutally big. No enterprise would survive at even 1/10 of this rate.
