The volume of money on the crypto money exchange is large. governments want to take advantage of this flow of money. governments can at least bring them to the lowest level if they are completely finished.

The governments and banks still fighting crypto currencies and trying to kill them, but it is not so easy mission, because this digital currencies are decentralized and anonymous, and they can't really stop their citizens from trading such currencies as long as the Internet connection is available.

The government might issue different kinds of regulations to stop bitcoin, but the community won't let that happen. The market cap and volume is too large and big investors are playing in this fields. This would lead to problems that will hunt the economy of the country. Also, big companies already started to adopt and use bitcoin as payments. Other countries also starts to accept bitcoin as a way for their country to climb up and advance in developments.

The one who owns the information owns the world-someone said it, so I try to follow the news especially on cryptocurrencies. The news can predict the behavior of the market, and if they directly affect the crypto, it will help to make the right investments or avoid losses. The politicians are very monetized these days, they are all interested in their enrichment, sometimes they do not even understand what they are talking about, their opinion is not worth it. They also have power, which we don't even guess about

I don't think governments want to stop it, they just want to make money as well.

absolutely YES, and they will do it.

just one reason: the more money enters crypto, the less control goverments have against people. Also the banks get less money to lend and that's a huge loss in return.

Goverments will destroy crypto. We are just 1 week away. Sell what you have, it's an advice.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
And how specifically do you manage to influence the leadership of different countries? prohibit and fully restrict the use of crypto-currencies can only be when the credibility of it is as utterly lost (but this is almost impossible because it is freedom!) - only the complete disconnection of Internet can kill the crypto currency, the rest is all simple manipulations! Smiley

Thank you for the information!

Government can never kill crypto currency or the use of crypto currency but I'm sure they are making plans on how to manipulate crypto currency and gain the upper hand and earned the largest profit crypto currency I'm sure that's what governments are up to. For many years the government wants to wipe out syndicated drugs and illegal firearms but still the government could not stop it, so how can they stop crypto when almost all of the people who knows about crypto currency are greatly benefited in the use of crypto currency and almost all of them also find hope in crypto currency.

Government cant kill the crypto because crypto is autonomous,It is possible government can ban but can not kill it. Cryprto have its own system no  need of third party to make transactions so crypto will survive forever.

Got my account back! It was hacked. Sorry about it :|

Crypto is decentralized and hence very difficult for govt to kill it. Look at the Chinese govt who have banned it but it is still flourishing. For crypto to be killed the govt has to make a global regulation wherein each nation will join them unanimously. Which is very unlikely, countries can’t form consensus on Green House, how would they do it for crypto wherein several of the poor countries will gain from crypto exodus in form of taxes.

isn't part of the point of decentralization, that you can't just "destroy" it?

I strongly agree with the opinion of the researcher. Yes, it is true, although there are some countries that make the price of Bitcoin so down this will not kill Bitcoin to death. Because it's only a small part, Bitcoin is well known to people all over the World. And they will still use Bitcoin although there are some countries that prohibit Bitcoin in their country.

the government will not kill the crypto.
until whenever.
because crypto has its own system and is not controlled by the government.

That's very impossible to happened that the government would kill Crypto because crypto has a big impact to the cou tries who already have btc. You're right the government maybe adopt the BTC rather than kill the cryptocurrency.

i think no, they try to regulate. if they regulate they can make influence on it also they can earn good amount tax money. this is beneficial for both.

I think its nearly impossible to kill cryptocurrencies with laws. Coins are in nearly free supply-demand all over internet. There will always be way to keep chain alive and transactions go. This is my opinion..

Perhaps, governments will be able to influence the course of the Crypto. But this is a whole industry, a new industry of the future, and it can not just be killed!
Yes, the government may affect the Bitcoin transaction, but the entire cryptocurrency market is very powerful and is not controlled by the government, so no one or any organization can disappear Bitcoin.

It is not beneficial for the government to prohibit cryptocurrency. Leaders of the richest countries declare the need for market regulation and advocate for the protection of investors. Therefore, we can conclude that bitcoin will become the legal tender for most countries.

it seems that it will not happen because bitcoin and other crypto currency is clear they can not be banned in the circulation by the government because their movement purely in terms of demand and supply.

in my own opinion, is it possible to the world government to kill crypto, but as long as too many people who trust and believe in crypto. they use it and crypto will rise again, and the history repeat it self. i think government will kill crypto in a way that harassment in all its users. but to think that all the people is the same as they harass.
