And the fun continues...non regulated exchanges...http://www.coindesk.com/btc-e-us-dollar-withdrawals-could-be-delayed-two-weeks/    this is just the begining  Cheesy
LMAO

These guys are gonna pull the biggest exit scam ever.

-Shenanigans that look like insiders wanting to GTFO of the exchange as fast as possible: check
-Big price premium: check
-Withdrawals delays: check
-Anon owners: check

Get out of that shitty exchange now.

spot on m8
id add, they have a really old set up and if a forum like bitcointalk can cost $1.5mill for upgrades and security, how much would it cost btce? Coinbase and many other exchanges have recieved VC funding and followed the regulation path. Btce has aged badly, its prob easier for them to sell/close/run off than to upgrade and regulate.

Serious amount of FUD and bearish bias on here.

Big move postponed, there's a lot more sideways to go through apparently.

Don't let this shit waste your life. Buy/go long at an undeniable break of the log trend line from the ATH or of a no-brainer trade setup like in 2012 after the long sideways or at september-october 2013. No point in blindly hodling. If you trade, look for shorting opportunities if it starts to break $210 with decent volume, the last support before the next free-fall.

If you ask me, whether it pumps first or not, it's gonna eventually go to double digits, where we'll see if this market is actually bound to reverse and see another bull market or slowly fade into obscurity.

Whatever you do, ignore the HODL FOMO "long term moon because VC money and because blockchains cure cancer" cultists, advising new investors (who have a far worse entry price than you) to hold something that is free falling it's not something to be proud of.
If you want to HODL knowing the risks it's your choice, just don't create a religion that will suck other people in and get them screwed out of it.

That kind of mentality is one of the reasons why this market is so unhealthy.

Riiiiiight. And the reason for double digits is simply to allow you to buy in really low before moon!! technical analysis?

Also I don't think we agree on definitions of free fall.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 21, 2015, 06:13:23 PM
Nice words and charts wanderer. But history rhymes, not repeats.

The volume or bidsum can be anything, but when the price crosses the exponential down trendline I suggest you buy in like the rest of us.
884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction on: May 21, 2015, 05:27:56 PM
...
It was a rhetorical question. But it was a poke aimed directly at you I can't blame you for trying to deflect the point.

I have posted innumerable times about buying coins in early 2013, at least twice directly to you, so I am surprised you keep posting that out of context knowing full well what you are alluding is wrong.
...

Your account registered on Nov. 2013. The quoted text is the first verifiable claim you've made. No sane person knowing anything about bitcoin could have possibly bought the bubble. Most of us may have cashed out a bit too early in hindsight, but buying after the collapse?
Only rubes & n00bs.

Now I'm gonna go ahead and pretend that you didn't just lie to me about buying before the bubble. I'm not petty.
Consider it forgotten. Never to be brought up again.
It's as if you didn't even try lying to me.
I remember nothing.

To further spare you from entangling yourself in your hodgepodge garbageheap of lies, i'll preemptively tell you that you can forget about hoping to convince me you've also sold the 10k BTC pizza.
I won't believe you.

Do understand that I'm not being calloused and uncaring. I care, I really do. Here's the thing tho:
If I allowed myself to feel, to open myself to just a teeny fraction of the crushing, abysmal defeat and humiliation you're living right now, my [cold, tiny] heart would simply break (and that would hurt) Sad

Ignoring the wall of crap you wrote back, I would have thought that the person creating endless sock puppet spam accounts would know more than anyone that the date of joining this forum != buying any bitcoins. You have hundreds of accounts and own none!

Anyway back to your illegal child porn  Wink
885  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction on: May 20, 2015, 11:19:58 PM

I think the fact bulls post from a primary account, whereas bears seem to use throwaways speaks volumes.

Why is that do you think?

Hmm...  Perhaps they're afraid of being laughed at, like maybe they've bought at the top of the bubble when they joined this forum, and bragged about it?
Something like this?

Bears back to caves. I bought on localbitcoins in the UK near the (hopefully) bottom.

Just guessing here Undecided

It was a rhetorical question. But it was a poke aimed directly at you I can't blame you for trying to deflect the point.

Pretty weak stuff from you, but I don't expect anything less from someone unable to post from either their primary account or numerous alts because they have been banned for child pornography violations. Or is it posting gay sex pictures, or just being a generally untrustworthy and dishonest individual that forum members would literally pay money to expose.

The original point being of course that the only reason the bearish troll threads are started by activity zero accounts is you have no other choice! Well done to the mods I say!
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big crash this week! on: May 20, 2015, 10:50:54 PM
A big crash (big both by volume and amplitude) would be bullish IMO. But that's not what I'm hoping for,
because it could mean we already saw THE bottom. I hope we'll go a bit up and sideways, until bulls lose patience,
then start crashing, first slowly then faster as panic spreads, culminating in a beautiful long squeeze. Grin

Hoping for a long squeeze back to low double digits after an 80% decline. You might be right tzupy..

The numerous bounces off the 200-220 region suggest otherwise. The newsflow is also as bullish as I have ever seen, in terms of VC inflows, Investment vehicles coming online and alternate uses of the blockchain by entities like NASDAQ.

Either all the good news floating round is wrong or Bitcoin is very undervalued. It might crash again. It might go sideways until the Halving. It might rocket up in one month back to 1200. Betting on disaster seems hyper bearish all things considered. What an exciting asset class!
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: I cannot believe the price does not move after NYSE news on: May 20, 2015, 10:09:24 PM
People like ideas that re-enforce their belief. In a bear market bad news re-enforces belief and good news will be ignored. When overall sentiment changes to bullish the reverse will apply. Stock up now while its cheap.

Excellent point. Even the trolls are down to just a couple of disturbed attention seekers.

It is looking like we will have an exciting few years ahead.

The only question is, when does the price bubble again?
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction on: May 20, 2015, 05:28:35 PM
Someone could make a bitcoin doom story generator and sell to the bears trolls from the forum.

Would save them lots of time

(if they haven't done it yet)...

Conversely, someone should write a lame butthurt reply generator and sell it to the bulls Smiley

As a matter of fact, I've just incorporated my software company, BBBBB (Bawwing Butthurt Bull Bot, Belize) in Belize & am floating IPO sharez on Havelock.

Don't miss the boat, Brewins. Buy now or baww later Smiley

I think the fact bulls post from a primary account, whereas bears seem to use throwaways speaks volumes.

Why is that do you think?
889  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does it take for Bitcoin to go 100X? on: May 20, 2015, 05:00:56 PM
What it takes? 300 Billion in one-time investement AND thereafter 82 Million Dollar new money every 24 hours to hold that price (roughly another 30 Billion per year just to run it).
Not gonna happen soon.

Riiight. Somebody doesn't understand how market capitalisation works.

(Hint: it's you.)
890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Condolences to the bitcoin die hards on: May 20, 2015, 01:37:23 PM
In my opinion all alt coins are scams. Some more than others.

This is coming from someone who got away with turning $3,000 into $50,000 from trading alt coins between 2013 and 2014 (Lite, Dark, Asia, Liberty, Voot).

I still feel somewhat dirty because I know a lot of people got trapped holding the bags.

Only Litecoin used to be legitimate and Darkcoin dev had good intentions too back then.

Only invest in alt coins if you are inside trading. Never try to chase a pump. You will get rekt.

Litecoin is still legitimate, one of the few coins where there was No premine by Dev.

You also know the term insta-mining, right?

If you closely investigate the addresses, and especially the addresses who received a massive amount of freshly mined litecoins at the very early stage of litecoin, you would see a pattern  Wink

Can't be worse than Bitcoin unless it's darkcoin. lulz

Why are you spamming a bitcoin forum if bitcoin is so terrible.

Why not go and post on your altcoin fora instead!
891  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big crash this week! on: May 20, 2015, 01:30:05 PM
This crash is gonna be ugly now.

lol
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready for the ride? on: May 20, 2015, 01:25:35 PM
I guess you finally stopped posting 'bitcoin crashing to sub 100$' 'what do you think?' threads and bought in, finally.

Welcome.
893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Condolences to the bitcoin die hards on: May 20, 2015, 01:24:23 PM
You are welcome to your own opinion.

Good luck picking up some bitcoins at a much lower price that 220 ever for the rest of the year.

894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 19, 2015, 05:48:07 PM
Come on, bulls, you can do it! A little pump is all I ask, so I can place my short tomorrow. Wink

"Come on bulls and investors.  Put your money here so I can shit on your face (likely with leverage) tomorrow for personal gain!".  Perhaps this ongoing mentality is why there isn't this "new money" coming in I keep hearing about.

This is how markets work, everybody is after his personal gain. At least I'm honest, I don't ask bulls to buy while promising moon, on the contrary... Grin

No, you promise collapse because of the shape of a chart.

We are in the slow boring phase. No new lows. No new highs. Just boredom until every last speculator flits away.

Then the price will rise again, catching out another wave of would be wealthy who sold out too soon.

Can the mods delete the trash threads from samer please.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 18, 2015, 05:36:31 PM
It's been so long since one of those crazy rallies. Bitcoin's reputation seems to finally be free of the bad kind of excitement. It is maintaining value and will hopefully begin to rise as well because of it's actual qualities, not because of greed alone.

Really!?
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gavincoin is old news. Alts rally because people see through the bullshit. on: May 18, 2015, 05:30:21 PM
Funny how the bitcoin bagholders always want to give alts a bad name for being "pump and dump" when actually bitcoin itslef is no exception from that.
All these coins rise AND fall. The pump and dump argument is really a non-argument. Even Gold and stocks or national currency is "pumped and dumped". That argument is as invalid as it can be.

Right now handsome profits on older altcoins. I also can't complain. People who are able to trade it profitable aren't looking at bitcoin trading anymore. Bitcoin is just the means to cash out to fiat.
Why anyone would buy Gavincoin to hold it is beyond me. Maybe 5 years ago yes, but in the year 2015? Really? Why?

Just hang around a bit longer, you'll see..
899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 18, 2015, 12:40:54 AM
Slow crash..

Interesting when the orderbooks flash on finex and you can see 500 coins either side of the price disappear, then reappear a few seconds later. Synchronised so its clearly one trader or bot.
900  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 18, 2015, 12:05:56 AM
Its quiet. Too quiet Smiley
