881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 16, 2014, 12:26:30 PM
To be fair their FAQ says:

"Are you going to run off with my coins?"

"Yes, we are planning to shut down and buy our private island -
as soon as enough people deposit their hard earned coins."

So ya know, devils in the detail n all that.

Meanwhile, and just on the offchance that people aren't guilty of mass fraud should personal details be posted here?
Is the forum permitting such things?

to do nothing is far worse. can't let these scumbags keep getting away with this. If nothing gets done u will see further flight from alt coin investment as people will be too scared. The future of cryptos will determined by outcomes like this
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 16, 2014, 07:41:12 AM
Damn coinedmarket.io are you just playing time to obtain citizenship of Virgin island and run with money? 7 days you can't manualy send single stucked coin? It's bullshit already. Even if you would do it for first 10-20 person people would see what you are doing something and would calm down at least.

If you lost some btc say it, if you stole it just damn paint cow on your main page and get lost.

Fact 1
99% of the bitcoins have been stolen, so now is the time to act.

Fact 2
Once the bitcoins have been exchanged into fiat we won't hear from them again and the site at this stage will go down for good.

Fact 3
Site is up and running to try get last minute bitcoin deposits, not everyone checks the forums!

Fact 4
Site was not hacked, they either giving the coins back (0.00001% chance) or they have stolen the bitcoins. People that sent bitcoins by mistake after the site went down have had them removed.

It makes me sick to my stomach that people are still defending these guys credibility while they spit on you with every false comment they make.

I will need to do more Investigations on exchanges from now on, the IRC address came from Estonia . Those guys are poor as fuck. no ways we getting our funds back

883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 15, 2014, 02:31:50 PM
If this guy is from Estonia then he will be able to retire with the btc he just stole. its almost as bad as a Nigerian running a exchange. We definitely need regulation now.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinmarket.io has stolen all the BTC how would you deal with this? on: March 15, 2014, 07:27:03 AM
I agree with Kenchanyu, our bitcoins are definitely stolen. What a shame for virtual currencies...
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 15, 2014, 07:23:57 AM
I had some hope of getting my btc back when I was able to withdraw my iCoins but I am losing faith, I think the users here have it spot on, the downs will have to be really strong in people if they still think these guys are returning our bitcoins. We have been played for idiots!

Let the witchhunt begin.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 14, 2014, 02:05:03 PM
Wow, I received KDC after almost two weeks. Nice work, it looks like coinmarket.io is NOT a scam after all.

I think people are only worried about BTC at this stage, that is the main concern. Alt coins have been working on and off. I received my iCoins but still waiting for my bitcoins so we will
have to keep holding our breath until we see confirmations from the community ON BTC!
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 13, 2014, 08:24:22 PM
Great to see a update but I am concerned for our BTC, my personal btc has been split and transferred over multiple wallet addresses.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 13, 2014, 12:42:25 PM
Ok, so who's the fucker who made this thread go into the direction like coinmarket was a scam for sure?
Agreed, the way of working and total lack of communication at coinmarket is extremely bad and for that alone already they don't deserve our business... but somebody started talking in here like it was for sure and confirmed we were scammed.
Now site is back up and withdrawing works like a charm, so clearly the problems at coinmarket are not scamm but just pure amateurism in how to run a business.

Please people, in the future, be careful with scam claims until confirmed and 100% sure!

Only once people start getting there btc will it be declared legit imo.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 13, 2014, 11:53:57 AM
Even if BTC forked today which it didn't or there would be a shit storm right now. But even that wouldn't explain this going on for weeks. Maybe someone actually found this scumbag and told him do the right thing. OR ELSE. Or maybe the POS is still trying to get other suckers to deposit. Whatever it is just warn everyone you know to not use this site at all ever again. The lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable for a business of this nature.

I really like Poloniex and it's one of the only exchanges I truly trust. Customer service is great the Admin comes into the chat box a few times a week. They have giveaways of new coins on the exchange. And the Trollbox adds a certain flavor to trading.

I just don't understand it, after withdrawing my iCoin now I remembered why I liked this exchange... it is really fast and responsive. To put this effort in just to scam people for btc seems crazy
as they would of made a lot more money long term on fees.
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 13, 2014, 11:44:16 AM
I can confirm my iCoin just came through to my wallet straight away as I withdrew now, but my btc still pending from 6th March.

Has anyone done a successful btc withdrawal now?

Really happy to have my iCoin back at least!
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICN] iCoin - Fast. Simple. Secure. Now on Coinpayments --> Android Wallet on: March 13, 2014, 11:41:58 AM
Coinmarket.io is up atm, I have just successfully withdrawn my remaining iCoin but btc still in pending state. So not sure what is going on with this exchange now!!!!!
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinmarket.io The worst Alt Coin Scam exchange to date! on: March 12, 2014, 04:40:41 PM
This guy seriously must be dead inside, this scam was fucking terrible. Worst I have seen!
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 12, 2014, 04:33:02 PM
This is a hardcore scam to say the least, I don't think words can describe how bad this one is... Sorry to all those that have lost coins here including myself but this one was just nasty, OUCH!

This person has to be drugged up to not realize how many people he is affecting here.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 11, 2014, 08:36:02 PM
I used to have coins on this exchange, what happened? has it been hacked? I can see cloudflare now when I go to their website

It's not a hack but a scam, been following this thread now for the last 2 weeks. The hackers wouldn't of had access to there twitter or coinmarket.io account which they could of reported
the hack by now.

I have lost both iCoin and BTC , although only a small portion, but as a result I have sold my remaining btc and just holding the iCoin I had in my wallet. How can you trust any exchange
after GOX, openex.pw,freshmarket.io and now coinmarket.io to name a few.

895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenEx to be shut down[Hacked] on: March 11, 2014, 08:24:16 PM
This exchange too after coinmarket.io, The collapse of virtual currencies is imminent. Really sad that a few fuck it up for the many,
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICN] iCoin - Fast. Simple. Secure. Now on Coinpayments --> Android Wallet on: March 11, 2014, 08:21:44 PM
I have lost a fair amount of iCoin and btc on the latest scam exchange coinmarket.io recently which has put me off virtual currencies for the last week.

It was a small portion of my holdings but I have lost trust in all exchanges after gox and now coinmarket.io .
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 05, 2014, 09:53:19 PM
All the btc deposited seems to have gone to other wallets, and coin market.io has made zero updates recently.  Looks like the coins are gone and the kid running this exchange has either scammed everyone, or has no idea how to admit this problem to us.

The site initially went down due to a flaw someone found in the engine... then a new engine was about to be released, at this point no hacking had taken place.

I am going to go with scam for now until proven otherwise.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 05, 2014, 09:48:45 PM
Yeah something is wrong, one of our users sent +- 1.8 btc to this address on coinmarket.io by mistake yesterday. 1DFRVczZmc7s6sTNrHYvHoSKa4bswdN1Vt

The amounts have since been withdrawn into 2 separate wallet addresses.

https://blockchain.info/address/1DFRVczZmc7s6sTNrHYvHoSKa4bswdN1Vt

So why would bitcoins sent yesterday be under threat if the hack took place ages ago?

These might be cold storage wallets as the funds have not left those accounts unlike the other btc examples here but then again why put them into 2 accounts and not 1.

Looks like Coinmarket.io might end up being a scam exchange , I would also be very weary of Poloniex... trade and get your funds off ASAP.  Cryptorush and swisscex appear to be ok!

Looks like this is a scam after all!! Also had iCoin and BTC on this exchange although I withdrew most of it off straight away.

It's a really terrible situation the crypto world finds itself in... started off with scamcoins , now scam exchanges is the new craze which is a lot more dangerous!!
