881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: January 29, 2023, 01:17:21 PM
I have watched this show several times to see what it is all about. Yes, I think it is a show, because I can't call this kind of entertainment a sport, as the participants don't see any outstanding achievements. Rather they will have problems with the head in their old age. I certainly wouldn't bet on the contestants on this show so as not to support the promotion of what I think is a silly show to the masses.

The entertainment is watching people get slapped so hard they break their jaws. Called a sport perhaps inappropriate, it is very dangerous for anyone without good jaw strength to imitate. Anyone can follow but, of course there is a strict selection. Silly show or not, but power slaps are becoming a popular part of the tournament today, replacing the somewhat outdated arm wrestling league.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I be worried? on: January 29, 2023, 06:44:37 AM
What about Metaverse? Will this use case faces the same fate? I am worried that we are too haste into the future like we won't be needing this until some several years later, is this something to be worried about?
I think the development of the metaverse is just a beginning similar to how AI has been applied in many fields and lives. Metaverse is mostly known for the explosion of defi and blockchain games, it's just applied in games or some art models... However I think it will be very promising for many fields.. I'm also not sure if the role of the metaverse will be sustainable in the future. That means much of the metaverse's growth will depend on user acceptance, culture.
So, Is it possible to believe in the development and inevitability of the metaverse in the future? for me is Yes

Different people have got different views over the technology and the product out of the same. According to me, the technology is good and the product Metaverse seems to be hype. A product should have realtime usage to grow, with Metaverse we can't see much of real-time usage. Most of them looked like an assumption, which is similar to the AI. Metaverse growth will be manipulated and the same might trigger market movement, apart it is really hard to experience true growth with Metaverse.

there is no real implementation of a metaverse project in sight at this time, so the metaverse technology just becomes a project to be manipulated too much.
When ii Ai becomes a technology that continues to be developed in crypto and this makes AI even more hype. In the future technologies such as metaverse, AI and others will be the technologies needed, but for now it is only a few sectors and AI is currently more likely to be applied to robots and some other automation projects.
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: January 28, 2023, 10:08:37 PM
in fact, CZ is not that stupid to say what could make Binance crash without the slightest consideration. how many times have we seen that Binance has really big problems, like hackers and so on. However, Binance is always responsible for its mistakes. besides, I also think that Binance is too big to go bankrupt right now. Binance becoming one of the most popular exchanges today is not just because of rumors, but because of the proof that they are truly professional. On top of that, the BNB price is currently holding steady at the $300 mark.

and in conclusion this is just FUD made to tarnish binance's reputation. But binance is stronger and won't be affected just because of such obscure FUD. withdrawals and deposits went well on my account and there have never been any problems. Binance is very popular right now and CZ won't be as easy to go bankrupt as it was with FTX. Binance is quite professional and cares about its users to keep them safe and not feel that their assets will be targeted.
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 28, 2023, 03:53:37 PM

Now a small number of coins have grown, as opposed to the others, which have not grown. Even the most important altcoin, ETH, lost value recently. Therefore, the dominance of BTC is not moving yet. I don't know if we are on the verge of a bull market or not, but it all looks like manipulation to me.

Bitcoin's dominance is around 42.3% and ETH's 18.4% and it's been a strong dominance and is on the rise for now. Bitcoin is still stable in the $22k-$23k price area.
Is this the threshold of a bull market? we'll see when it's on Montly Closed. If Bitcoin changes direction and we are bearish, get ready to hold on, especially altcoins.
Manipulation will continue to occur in the crypto market so that will also affect it.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 27, 2023, 05:08:37 PM
In fact, the main thing to understand is that this risk has a result. Most often, if trading is based on risks, the result can also be quite interesting.

That’s the thing, that many newbie traders miss while starting their trading career. You can’t make profit if you won’t take risks. Now you can make little money, if you take less risk, if you increase the risk percentage involved, then the profit you will get will be also maximum. But remember that with the increase in risk percentage, the risk of getting losses also increases. So yes invest wisely and cautiously. At last the conclusion is that, trade as per your needs. If possible take calculated risk and trade wisely.

Trading as needed becomes the thing to do. Because sometimes some people trade beyond their capacity. Trading without good financial management, doing all in on all capital owned. If you don't have good management, losses will come soon. A large percentage of risk will result in a large profit, depending on how much money is traded. Without taking a risk, there will be no profit. Just getting into crypto investment is a risk because it is the decision and responsibility of each.
All businesses and investments have risks with different positions.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 27, 2023, 10:54:55 AM

~snip~rarely invest in new altcoins even if they jump the increase is fantastic, but also carries a high risk too, except when placing a little capital just looking for luck

looking for luck or waiting for a new altcoin pumping boom, it is indeed very tempting when it meets expectations and enters the project early. Or if you take part in the public sale you will get a special price. But it's rare for a project to actually reach its current presale price when Bitcoin goes into a bearish mode. Placing a little capital or participating in several presales might be an option for those who want to try it with high risk.

~snip~but don't focus on Bitcoin only and better monitor the overall market movement,
The top altcoins are still an ideal choice for investment.

If you don't want to focus only on bitcoin, then decide which altcoin you will choose. But even a top altcoin will not be a guarantee that the investment will last, because we have to learn from some altcoins that have crashed despite being at the top of CMC's rankings. Do your research and do it at your own risk.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 26, 2023, 11:34:34 PM
For sure i’m not very confident this movement, keep 50:50 cash/alt, next time if btc down again its time to buy, meaning yoloing, to soon for investment, macroeconomic still not in full effect, and there is still lot of time to wait till fed full pivot, which is near halving and perfect for starting bull run
Yes despite that the market movement is starting to go up but I don't think it will last long,
to be honest I don't really expect bullish to happen in the near future,
we'd better see what the next development will be like.
Logically, the next cycle should be bullish. But I agree with you that it is very difficult to determine which phase of the market we are in right now. Few altcoins were able to show good growth, that's because most of these coins are concentrated in one hands. About bitcoin it's not clear to me either, the 23k level is not very important, so the price can go anywhere.

if the next cycle has to be bullish, of course it has to start from bitcoin. If bitcoin is a bullish altcoin recovery will not occur, but if the bitcoin price stabilizes in the $20k price area it will be an opportunity for altcoins to be able to recover in price, and also BTC dominance decreases so that a lot of money goes into altcoins.
Some altcoins are showing a quite good recovery, but this depends on how Bitcoin moves, if bitcoin has to be forced down again to a price level below $20k, then the tips are getting ready to enter another bearish market.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: January 26, 2023, 11:09:49 PM

Bitcoin is still an easy x5 in the next bull run. So I choose bitcoin over the ever-dangerous and unstable altcoins. Although, if allowed, I will choose both. I just need to diversify my crypto investments as well. There are the safest altcoins at the top most of the ranks, ETH and BNB are my favorite picks. But I also risked some on other altcoins that are highly volatile but have the potential of earning more than the top altcoins and bitcoin.

So it is a matter of personal preference. The most important is to DYOR and invest the money we can only afford to lose. The higher the risk, the higher than reward but bitcoin is always the safest investment in crypto, and 2nd and 3rd are not even close.
It seems to me that no one can guarantee you a stable x5 for bitcoin in the next cycle. The big question here is, at what marks can that theoretical x5 be? Although altcoins have more risk, the reward is also much higher than bitcoin.

High rewards but also with high risks to rugpull. Take a look at the drama that happened to LUNA, FTX, they were the top altcoins that were trusted by the community but in the end they collapsed and hurt a lot of people. Indeed, no one guarantees bitcoin will get 5x easily, but when compared to having to wait 10x from altcoins and dropping to rugpull is very risky. Bitcoin is still the best for the long term, it will not drop to zero and will not be a rug pull.
889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How bitcoin supply can be more than 21 million on: January 26, 2023, 10:05:33 PM
~snip~No matter how many twists and turns an exchange or trading platform might have on the number of bitcoins available, 21 million is still the limit.

21 million is the bitcoin supply limit and cannot be added. There is no point in adding Bitcoin beyond the supply that has been set by Satoshi Nakamoto. The circulation of bitcoins circulating on exchanges is still far from 21 million, and some bitcoin voters also hold them in their wallets, but some leave the wallet without anyone being able to open it. So the circulating supply of bitcoins will not reach 21 million. this will make bitcoin even rarer when the mining process is complete, the price will be more expensive because of limited goods with great demand.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 26, 2023, 09:24:50 PM

You are absolutely correct, in other words, we can simply say that there is no free money anywhere even in free town..
Like you said, it's a marketing strategy which the casino uses to try to get those who signed up on their casino and yet to take action to take the action, so far, I've not seen a bonus from any casino that came with out some requirements like deposit and wager requirements and all that, I believe this is something every gambler should already be aware of, the casino are in the business to keep making more and more money, when they decide to give out some of those money in the form bonus, it is also another strategy for them to make even more money.

Free money or bonuses are just camouflage, ordinary gamblers only know that what is given is a free bonus, but behind all that there are many strategies that they do to continue to make more money. Several conditions are enforced in order to get a lot of profit from the bonus that was issued at the beginning.
Casinos have a big turnover, they keep earning no matter what. fishing with bonuses as early camouflage and getting a lot of profit from one bait eaten by prey.
891  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 26, 2023, 09:02:33 PM

I believe, they are more on like getting insights from crypto users.
As they are also investing in btc, they are checking the sentiments of the community.
I have the feeling that they just want to get assurance about investing on this market.
As of the moment, going down to zero is not anywhere in the horizon.
So they should feel confident about their holdings, worry if you can read any news anymore about btc or crypto.

if you only want to get a guarantee, of course there will be no guarantee. The risks must be borne by themselves, these are not fiat assets like those managed by the government. Bitcoin is decentralized so no one person can completely control it. They really have to be sure of their ownership and know the risks that will occur. See bitcoin history starting from its inception. The price of course increases drastically in the long term.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on the Rise, But Proceed with Caution! on: January 25, 2023, 11:43:49 PM
It's always wise to think that the market can move in any direction. Even though the price is currently in a positive trend, volatility is still unavoidable.
I had been looking at $23K while ago, but a sudden correction brought the price down to $22.7K. So there is always dip risk, but if you want to invest in the long term then it's a good idea to consider DCA.

I had no doubts that the bitcoin price would never drop below $20K again, but we can never really say anything for sure. Consider your risk, invest for the amount you can afford to lose.
This can be a problem for some traders, they are so confident on the analysis they have made they convince themselves their prediction will become true, and when it does not happen instead of simply accepting this they refuse to acknowledge the movements of the market and simply assume the market is moving in an incorrect way, which is insane as there is no way the market can be wrong, we the traders are the ones which make mistakes and we need to correct them when we make them

A technical analysis or prediction made will not be 100% accurate, there will be some errors due to volatile market trends. Many factors affect the price of the crypto market which is unstable such as some manipulations carried out by whales, as well as some FUD that suddenly appear.
Some traders who do the wrong analysis must have a backup plan to be able to overcome it, if traders only have one plan, they cannot change plans, then the trade will fail and some will also panic.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Main reason government won't fully accept bitcoin on: January 25, 2023, 09:51:32 PM

It's like we hate fiat money because fiat only makes us lose our freedom, worse every time fiat depreciates, but that's good for the government. But sadly, we live under their control, so there is nothing we can do.

We must comply with every government regulation because the government is in control of the fiat that we have. But when we use bitcoin and it's decentralized, the government won't be able to regulate it. This is what the government is afraid of, they can't regulate people who are starting to switch to decentralized technology. Therefore the government provides strict rules on regulations Accepting Bitcoin or not. Even the implementation of the tax targeting centralized exchanges is not specific to each bitcoin holder because the government only has data from centralized exchanges.
894  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 25, 2023, 09:04:36 PM
often come across threads like this and ask whether bitcoin will reach zero price or be worthless at all.
Do they expect bitcoin to be worthless or to be the end of bitcoin?
Let alone wishing for bitcoin to go to zero, Bitcoin under just $1k is currently still impossible. Bitcoin is a new technology that still needs development, but even so bitcoin has become a popular digital asset and has great value. that means bitcoin gets attention from all walks of life, both the pros and cons of bitcoin.
Instead of expecting bitcoin to fall to zero, it's better to start investing now, buy and hold bitcoin you will get the benefits.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 25, 2023, 06:32:33 PM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

LMAO. I have tried it on few sites and I must say it works to some extent.
The casino site may or may not send you bonuses and it completely depends on them.
Even if they do send the bonuses it will be only for a limited time.
After few weeks you might not receive any bonus and your account will just stay idle.

Everything will have a limit, the casino also doesn't want to give bonuses for too long and there won't be another bonus when you get the first one. some other rules usually the bonus can only be used when you make a deposit with a certain amount. The bonus given is of course only as an inducement for gamblers to deposit into crypto and play at their casino.
No gambling platform provides bonuses without certain rules or restrictions for certain uses and times. This is just a marketing strategy so that many users are interested.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 25, 2023, 06:15:30 PM

For the Everton vs Arsenal game I didn't really think about it, 100% sure I would bet on Arsenal to win. Spurs vs Man City the possibility of winning for man city is very slim, but I will not bet on this match, considering that Spurs performed quite well in the previous match against fulham and managed to win the match. Chelsea vs Fulham, as the host, Chelsea will definitely be favored, but it's not immediately clear that they will still be able to win this match, considering that Fulham have performed so well this season and are now in a much better standing than Chelsea, so it's likely that my bet will be draw in this fight.

Arsenal are on fire so somehow stop them maybe only Manchester City an equal opponent other than that I don't think so
Next we will highlight the performance of Manchester City as the main competitor, Manchester City must win every game in order to stay closer in the standings a tough task awaits next month when Manchester City have to face Tottenham as away team obviously this is not easy.
Everton are in a state of pain and in transition due to a new coach after Lampard left so this can't be considered a stumbling block I think because it's definitely been a win for Arsenal in the shape they are in and with the confidence high.
Even though this match will be at home to Everton, still with their current statistics and with their currently chaotic condition I don't expect too much and this could be an easy bet for Arsenal.

Under Lampard's tutelage, Everton did show very poor performance, they were only able to win three wins from a total of 20 Premier League matches. and most recently Everton lost 0-2 against West Ham at the weekend. As a result, Everton has now fallen to 19th place and was able to collect only 15 points.
Due to Everton's poor performance, Everton decided to fire Lampard and replace him with a new manager. some of the prospective managers who have the opportunity to coach Everton are Sean Dyche, Wayne Rooney, Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, Duncan Ferguso, and David Moyes.
897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie - need your advice after first trades (image joined) thnk you in advance on: January 24, 2023, 09:12:40 PM
to read the charts. scalping mode is highly recommended, but you also have to use a lot of capital, if it's only minimal then every profit will be very little like you are doing right now.
It is not easy to become a day trader. starting your trade for 6-7 days is quite a drain on your brain and psychology, do you not intend to become a holder and collect capital and do DCA on bitcoin? That would be a good suggestion instead of day trading small amounts with a big risk.
898  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What could make you start using a new crypto wallet today? on: January 24, 2023, 08:57:15 PM
Currently, electrum is my main bitcoin wallet because I don't trust other wallets like Trust Wallet or Guarda Wallet you mentioned. and to be safer using a hardware wallet, it would be more advisable to use Ledger, Trezor and other hardware wallets. Main wallet security is number one, easy access and not limited by anything. Electrum is a bitcoin wallet that can be used on mobile devices and PCs, very simple and security depends on how well we store phrases.

List of the best wallets according to usage
maybe this list of wallets will not be the same as your list,
but this might be the best list for me.

Coinbase Wallet - Best for Beginners
MetaMask - Best for Ethereum
TrustWallet - Best for Mobile
Ledger - Best Crypto Hardware Wallet
Electrum - Best Desktop Bitcoin Wallet
BlueWallet - Best Mobile Bitcoin Wallet
Exodus - Best for Desktop
Crypto.com - Best deFi wallet

899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has someone tried to use ChatGPT to help in trading? on: January 24, 2023, 08:27:42 PM
but for now ChatGPT cannot be used, maybe because it is full or too many users are logged in.
I'm also curious about his intelligence. In fact, not only helps in trading, in any way ChatGPT can be used and put to good use. Seeing the many reviews on YouTube is truly extraordinary and beyond expectations.
Maybe this is the most sophisticated and smartest AI robot at the moment, it can replace a programmer.
900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Success in futures trading after long wait. on: January 23, 2023, 11:01:43 PM
Futures trading has a higher risk than spot trading. If you are not ready for futures trading, everything will be lost easily. But you will get a sizable profit when you continue to add liquidation until the market reverses.
But it's worth the risk. Not only will psychology play a role in futures trading, but analytical skills and also the resilience of trading reserve capital will also affect it. If it has been liquidated and cannot turn things around, then there will be no other opportunities to make a profit.
Trading also requires a strategy, not just placing an order and leaving it. you don't use stop loss to stop losses, that's very fatal. trading but like gambling, guessing ups and downs.
