881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN ANY COUNTRY PULL BITCOIN DOWN FROM THE HEIGHT IT HAS GOTTEN TO? on: June 07, 2018, 11:29:25 PM
I do not think that any country can pull Bitcoin down, anyone tried banned bitcoin in it country  will regret it action because bitcoin generate employment to citizen of any country who allow bitcoin to function and add more to country economic development.
Not like a good number of countries never tried to ban Bitcoin, but fortunately for us, Bitcoin was well thought out by Satoshi and much more than what the governments bargained. Russia, China, India, all have made attempts to ban Bitcoin in the pass, but failed and now they have made a u turn.
882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading big and quick. on: June 07, 2018, 11:12:38 PM
while surfing the net, i get some pop-ups directing me to the article of persons who claim to have made really big and quick by just predicting the rise and fall of some binary digits (They call it trading). This is the link to the website for predictions - https://olymptrade.com/platform. If you are into it, my question for you is "does it really pay?" also tell me what you think of it.

I don't believe those adverts. From what I know, All those articles are written in such a way to get the interest of unsuspecting noobs. They make it sound super easy to make money from the aforementioned site. Those articles are targeted at noobs with the aim of getting them to sign up and trade on those exchanges. And it's worth noting that binary options isn't all sunshine and rainbow when it comes to making money.
Same goes with me! I have come across those adverts severally online and I can tell those claims are vague and intentionally made mouth watering in order to rope in some gullible online income seekers. I will advice anyone with a mind of committing money, to first and foremost sight some evidence that they have been paying others= real people, the internet is afloat with scams
883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why long-term trading! on: June 07, 2018, 10:57:31 PM
Because long term holding pays off much higher in returns. With short term trading you can buy free lunch but with long term trading you can find yourself buying whole new car or similar big things..
That is only if a trader was able to pull it off. At the end of the day, trading long term does not guarantee profit would be made anymore than short term trading could. What looks like an advantage with long term trading is in the hope it brews that the extra time would bring good tidings, but the market price remains the ultimate decider interestingly, there are profitable traders in both divide.
884  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy more? wait till 6000 or 5500? on: June 07, 2018, 10:29:18 PM
Technical data hints that it can go down to 6000 or 5500 level.
What do you think?
On account of the so many forces that influences price in the market, predictions are not to be exact. Meaning that price may breach those levels or even make a turn back right from their present positions. So the best advice would be to never buy in lumps, instead buying in batches can help contain volatility and average cost.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to Trading on: June 07, 2018, 10:14:37 PM
I think that trading is the best way to earn money without taking a lot of efforts. I think that trading is worth it if you know the basic laws of trading like selling when the price is high and vice versa buy when it is cheap
Almost all traders can recite that, but in reality, how many traders are well able to put them to work while trading! It helps to realize that getting to become an effective trader comes with time and lots of practice. All said, a trader should endeavor to have their ears on the ground to be abreast with latest developments in the markets and save themselves rumors that breeds FUD.
886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 07, 2018, 09:52:44 PM

There are indicators in the platform that will tell you when to. so learn more about the platform where you trade.  Exchanges are becoming very clever, you might want to  learn when a token is over bought already and when that happens, its about to be dumped. Or an indicator that will tell you most of the bidders are getting lesser.
That's right but problem is there seem to be a number of crypto traders, especially those without a root in forex trade that think these indicators don't work with cryptocurrencies. No doubt that's blind argument as good knowledge and application of these tools can always aid a trader in reaching well informed trading decisions. I have this preference of using Bollinger Bands in combination with RSI to spot overbought or oversold conditions and then start preparation for possible market reversal.
887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Does Day Trading Means? on: June 07, 2018, 08:14:12 PM
Now you know what it is, but you need to know that day trading is not easy for most of the people. I advise you first to get into the usual trading or long term trading as we call it, just to feel the whole thing. After you get some experience you could do this one too if you like it.

Yes, this point is very important for a newbie. Because day trading is almost like a gambling just a guessing game and in this guessing game many times we will do a mistake and even experts can't predict things every time correct. So if your a new to trading then first start with investing and slowly learn how this trading works then can try your luck in day trading.
Day trading like every other form of trading is no guess work or gaming, but can actually end up being one if that's what the trader wants it to be. Trading of any type is risky, knowledge and skills are highly necessary less it becomes an instance why people say, trading is gambling.

For the meaning of day trading, it simply means a trader usually do not carry over his open positions to the following day, but closes them within 24 hours and in most cases with little profits, but since it can be done several times a day and done properly, the profits can add up.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADE AGAINST THE TREND on: June 07, 2018, 07:46:30 PM
I spent a lot of effort on learning about trade. I have also experienced many psychological feelings, ups and downs, so I would like to share from the bottom of my heart  some tips for beginners or amateur traders:

1. Trade only 1 pair of currency: usdt and altcoin
2. Invest in good altcoins only  (1-5 crypto), focus will bring about higher chance of winning. Treat btc as an altcoin and make a speculation with it. Learn how to identify a good crypto in order to hold the coin whenever the storms come.
I agree that the fewer the coins a trader is following, the more focused and up-to-date he stays - no need trying to be jack of all coins and master of none. The are many coins out there, but I suppose the choice of USDT here, must be because of its relative stability and especially the hedging opportunities it provides, when the market start spinning on its head and which it does quite often.

Btw OP, I don't see how the points highlighted are linked with the topic!

889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: factors that can make bitcoin stable on: June 07, 2018, 05:43:09 PM
I think the best way is to make it completely decentralize , I mean if there were no whales in it and it distributed in all hands the price followed a logical trend and technical analysis could work on it , since more than 90% of bitcoins are in less than 10% of wallets now , I hope someday it becomes like that and we see no whale in it .
That's proffering a centralized solution for a decentralized problem - how would it ever work? Did you also pause to consider what would become of all those billion dollar in market capitalization should the whales be left behind? That would leave far behind where we are at the moment. I don't envy the whales, instead I'm fight to become one. Bitcoin needs more adoption and investments for any measure of stability to be achieved and not less.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will get legitimacy in all countries? on: June 07, 2018, 04:52:34 PM
When some of the countries find out what they think about bitcoin is not right, they will be forced to legalized bitcoin in there county justvas country are legalising it.
I doubt there's still anyone country out there that is still struggling to understand Bitcoin and the huge potentials there is to it, but like we already know, governments and politicians do not support or pursue any course simply because the conviction that it bodes good for the people, unless they stand to gain far more from it. Beyond that, they would not allow it see the light of the day, unfortunately for them, Bitcoin was more than a match and legalization have turned out their best bet or they've lost it!
891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Rewards From Mining - Still Economically Viable? on: June 07, 2018, 10:30:27 AM
So the question is with so many people all over the world mining Bitcoin especially those with Bitmain type miners and farms, apart from the pool operators who continue to benefit, is the share received viable for others to mine Bitcoin when keeping electricity, time and effort in mind?

Only pool operators and with big mining farms can benefit from Bitcoin mining, and it also depends on your location if the electricity is much lower, if you are an individual and you are looking to mine alone, you are going to regret if you calculate your cost and your profit.
The emergence of ASIC already made it obvious that Bitcoin mining is not for all comers and so unless your drive is to support in upholding the Bitcoin network - I doubt, a more economic decision would be that of channeling your hashing power to mining a selection of altcoins and then having them exchanged subsequently to Bitcoin.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News: Bitcoin won't be Global Currency on: June 07, 2018, 05:20:22 AM
I got caught up in this news last 6 hours ago, most of us participants are hoping that Bitcoin will someday become a Global Currency, why is that?

Any thoughts or opinions about this?

Even if bitcoin has all characteristics of becoming the first global currency, I doubt it will ever happen in our lifetime. Because the nexus of our governments won't let it happen for their own benefit. So as a tech enthusiast or bitcoin lovers, it really doesn't matter how strongly we want it to happen. our government is here to control everything. They won't let go their controlling authority for such a decentralized currency. So majority of the bitcoin holders wish to let it happen but they hope very little about it!
You're totally adrift and might want to refresh your mind the difference there is, between a national currency and a global currency!

Bitcoin has no need of becoming any countries national/local currency, but as for a global currency, it already is, regardless of what some countries feel about it as acceptance doesn't have to be 100% of all countries. With just the keys to your Bitcoin wallet, you can never be stranded or run out of cash any country you might find yourself, because you can always convert your Bitcoin to any local currency or at least to the U.S. dollar. What else then is a global currency?

894  Economy / Services / Re: MVPS.net - European VPS starting at 3 EUR [btc,ltc,eth,dash etc. accepted] on: June 02, 2018, 10:11:22 AM
Do you have a vouch copy for the VPS Basic?
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will get legitimacy in all countries? on: June 01, 2018, 11:11:16 PM
Many countries think that Bitcoin is harmful for their country. They think that Bitcoin will create inflation in their country. But is that right? Will Bitcoin never get all the legitimacy?
No Bitcoin is likely never going to get legitimacy from all countries and especially the poor and developing ones because their leaders fear that they would likely lose control of the people and they will lose it anyway, because Bitcoin is here to stay and instead of being harmful to any country, would rather liberate any country from the fangs of fiat currencies.
896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: June 01, 2018, 10:51:30 PM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
It's so easy to see every problem as a nail, if the only tool one owns is a hammer! Day trading is a serious business and it's not particularly suitable for all comers, worst of all, those that believe in crystal balls! For us traders, day trading is doomed without good enough trading knowledge and skills.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia 2018, another turning-point to the Crypto-community? on: June 01, 2018, 09:43:46 PM
It sure could be but I doubt any real rise will come of it. Maybe some people will use cryptos but I doubt it will cause a huge flair in crypto usage. I think the Olympics would be a better suited venue to increase awareness.
I also think that the impact might not be so pronounced except FIFA makes an official declaration for the adoption of Bitcoin or if the community was proactive in coming up with ways to incentivized the buying of tickets, food, accommodation, etc with Bitcoin.
898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: factors that can make bitcoin stable on: June 01, 2018, 09:24:38 PM
The reason Bitcoin is still open to market manipulations is not far fetched - it isn't well capitalized yet, so much so that the buying or selling by a whale or a group of them, immediately goes to impact on the market price. One major way to bring about stability in the price of Bitcoin, would be by getting more merchants to adopt and promote Bitcoin as against the presently situation of far more speculators in the community.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY DID ETHEREUM DROP ALMOST 10% TODAY? on: June 01, 2018, 04:15:59 PM
Can anyone tell me why all coins have almost the same price trends even though they have very different algos.

BTC is the initiator it seems. When it rise, every other crypto coin rises. Very predictable.

So if BTC becomes $500k as predicted by some, can I say EOS or Eth and all other coin will increase in value exponentially too?

Or am I are lead to believe the fluctuation is independent. The price graph trends says otherwise.

Go to sites like Coingecko and see the graph trends in one page. Looks more or less similar.

Yes. It's all based on BTC. You'll notice almost all of the alts will make moves when BTC does. There's a couple of coins that will do weird things every now and then, but for the most part, they all make moves when Bitcoin does. You are exactly right to believe that it's the indicator.
That is exactly how it works - Bitcoin leads, others follow! At any rate, discrepancies cannot be ruled out because these changes in price do not happen across all coins instantaneously and that is one reason the cryptomarket is always ripe for arbitrage trading.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: June 01, 2018, 03:38:31 PM
Without a doubt, this is a very perspective coin and it will rise very well by the end of this year. I don't know would iost cost 10 dollars, but the price of this altcoin will grow by 5 or even 10 times, that's for sure ... Only in April iost grew by 300%, but while the market in general decline, the price of iost has also decreased.
I was observing the streaming of the prices of some coins and tokens and was startled to find some coins that actually offered little or nothing to the community, parading very impressive prices and I knew, it would be just some time and IOST token will climb to its rightfully position. In the meantime, I think we're looking at fortune with many of us not realizing it!
