The current balance is $272.5.

My pick for the Lakers vs Nuggets game 3 is under 222  for $100.

It is a pity that you still do not conduct general statistics. What is the total number of bets already placed?
Since you requested it, I'll show the statistics after game 3 of Lakers vs Nuggets.

I see that the balance has decreased quite seriously. Is it reasonable to increase the size of the bet with such results? A couple of bad games can end your experiment ahead of time.

My goal here is to win, not to last longer but still in the losing side. If my journey ends before the NBA finals, then so be it. I'll just adjust next time and be hopeful that my strategy will work. As I mentioned earlier, I could double my bet, but it's not a total Martingale style.

Amount bet ; $50

Under 210.5 with 1.96 odds for game 1 between the Celtics and Heat.

Good luck.

The current balance is $272.5.

My pick for the Lakers vs Nuggets game 3 is under 222  for $100.

The Lakers have found a way to increase their chances of winning by being more physical in the game. They have made adjustments to their starting lineup to ensure they are not dominated by the Nuggets' big players. In fact, they led in the first half of game 2, but the Nuggets made a comeback in the fourth quarter with a big run.

Considering they are playing at home in a must-win game, it's expected that the Lakers will continue to play with physicality. However, their shooting might not improve significantly unless they draw more fouls. Given these factors, I believe the total score of 222 is still high, indicating that it is likely to hit the under. Additionally, I have placed a small bet on the total score falling within the range of 191-200 in case the game becomes exceptionally physical.

886  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BULL MAY BE IN TROUBLE on: May 15, 2023, 11:27:39 AM
According to what's happening in the market today., Bitcoin's value has changed a lot in the past, still going up and down quickly. Recently, it reached a really high value in April 2021, but then went down a lot in May 2021. There are different reasons for this, such as concerns about the environment and government rules. Some people think that in the short term, the price could still go up and down a lot because of different things like the economy and what people think. It's hard to know for sure what will happen, so people who want to invest in Bitcoin should be careful and think about the risks and rewards before doing anything because the Bull market may be in trouble.BTC

You'll be surprised; we will soon be in a bull run. In my opinion, the market hasn't changed; it's still the same as in the past, and we are still experiencing high volatility. However, if you look at the big picture, you will see that the market is bullish. So, I suggest not focusing on the current situation but instead looking at the big picture, which will give you confidence about what the future may hold.

Bitcoin usually starts a bull run, and then the rest of the market follows. So, if you have doubts that we will not see a bull run soon, that's actually a good sign to start buying, as average individuals often panic. That's when the whales begin to play their game and bring the market into a bullish mode.

Buying when people are fearful is what I've learned the best strategy to be profitable.

We will benefit from holding Bitcoin in the future if there is real demand. The fact that Bitcoin has already reached the current price is a significant success considering its initial near worthlessness. Just looking at the price, it is already high, and we have not yet achieved mass adoption. Achieving widespread adoption is crucial if we want to enjoy the benefits of our investment now, as without it, Bitcoin will remain a volatile asset.

Governments need to create crypto-friendly laws, and with the continuous support of our community, investors, and those who have a love for Bitcoin, the government will be forced to listen to us. There is a reason why Bitcoin is valuable—it is often referred to as digital gold. Just like gold, Bitcoin is considered valuable, and in times of war, gold does not devalue. Similarly, Bitcoin holds its value.
890  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 13, 2023, 01:26:28 PM
I voted on the poll, and I'm happy that most of us are optimistic about seeing a new all-time high (ATH) in 2024.

This means we shouldn't worry about what will happen to Bitcoin this year. It's not expected to reach a new ATH, so there's still plenty of opportunity to accumulate. I'm not a technical analysis expert, but based on experience, I've noticed that it's easier to make money when the market is in a bull run.

So, guys, just enjoy what you're doing now. The price may experience a temporary dump, but we know it's just an opportunity in disguise. Dumps present opportunities. Grin

I lost 5% of my $50 because I only received $47.5 from my Denver bet, which brings my total bankroll to $422.5.

Tomorrow, my bets are Miami -6.5 and the Warriors moneyline for $50 each.

892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in Student Life on: May 12, 2023, 01:05:29 PM
I think investing in bitcoin is much more profitable than saving money in a bank.
You'll never be profitable by just saving money because it's not investing. You may have misunderstood the definition of savings and investment. When you save, you can grow your money, but it's not referred to as profit. Additionally, saving money is not entirely safe, especially considering hyperinflation. The money you save now may increase in nominal value over 10 years, but due to inflation, its real value will decrease. Therefore, I don't really encourage solely relying on saving money in the bank. It's advisable to save for emergencies, but it's recommended to invest the majority of your funds.

But in any case, Bitcoin is a risk. It can go up or down.
Always research what you are investing in and invest only what you can afford to lose.

That's what investing entails—there's always a risk involved. It's up to you to manage that risk effectively. If you manage your investments well, you have the potential to be successful and profitable.

I lost on the Heat bet but won on the Warriors bet, resulting in a profitable day that brings my total bankroll to $425.

Tomorrow, I have the 76ers moneyline with odds of 2.16 and the Nuggets +2.5 at 1.95. Both bets are $50 each.
Congratulations on the Warriors bet, that's still profits.
Today you got 1/2 again with only a little bit of loss, right? The ML for the Nuggets could've been better especially without Ayton playing the game.
Still, that's a good pick you did there.
Many have thought the Phoenix Suns will try to tie the game and the Nuggets ending it at Game 7 but we are right because I also took the bet for the Denver Nuggets.
Sadly, I missed the 1st game and never had the chance to place my bet.

Up next, Warriors or Lakers?  Wink I am rooting for the Warriors, I wish they will give better odds and I think AD will be playing despite the hit in the head in Game 5.

Good luck with your experiment mate, hope you can have a profit after the playoffs.

I have not been profitable so far, as I lost two bets today. As a result of these losses, my bankroll has decreased to $275.

Tomorrow, I'll be betting on the Denver Nuggets -6.5 for 2.00 odds. It will be for $100.

I won my bet, which brings my total bankroll up to $375, but that's still down from my original bankroll of $500.

Tomorrow, I'm thinking about betting on the Heat at +3.5 and the Warriors at -7. I plan to wager $50 on the Heat and $100 on the Warriors.

That's heavy @stadus.
Miami Heat lost. So your chance to regain the lost $50 will be on the Warriors' game against the Lakers. I also think they can win this one and their home crowd will be a lot of help to boost them up and maybe scare the Lakers bench whenever they come in. I am tailing this but only @-5.5.
If it ends up at a close game I am expecting the spreads could still be covered.

Steph Curry badly need help from Klay Thomson, the burden was too heavy at lifting the offense for the Warriors team. Someone must step up his game.

I lost on the Heat bet but won on the Warriors bet, resulting in a profitable day that brings my total bankroll to $425.

Tomorrow, I have the 76ers moneyline with odds of 2.16 and the Nuggets +2.5 at 1.95. Both bets are $50 each.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long the high transaction fees will last? on: May 10, 2023, 11:27:55 AM

I believe that fees will gradually decrease from now on, but the speed at which this happens depends on people's behaviors imo.

That's correct, the high priority fee is currently only $4.06, which is a significant decrease from the day I posted this thread, where it was over $20.

I hope this downtrend continues, as some people may be willing to wait for longer confirmation times, but high fees can be difficult to tolerate.
