why are we even discussing this and calling it "fork" as in it is a bad thing.
aren't we supposed to give in to the majority vote? if majority voted for Segwit or BU then accept it?
sorry to ask this but i just don't get it, one mining pool showed a tiny bit of interest in showing support for another proposal and this topic shows up here calling the doomsday? why? it is still a very long way to (i think it was 75%)!

I am just curious if you guys are into casino referrals and how much you make with it  all these years i have had a couple of referrals, which in total were less than 10 and so far i have not even made 0.001 BTC from them because all they ever did was gambling with very tiny amounts which i think was faucet and gave me so little as commision. p.s. i am very curious to know how much you earned from your referrals? |

when you ask the bitcoin community if it is a good idea to invest in bitcoin they obviously say yes! we all love bitcoin and we have obviously invested in it so we find it good.
but if you want to start it is different. with 100K going in, is not such a great idea if you ask me. just buy small amount, try to learn what bitcoin is and then how it goes up and down then go in bigger, buy more and add to it.
if you buy 100K today and price goes down from 1260 to 1250 you will panic! the rest of us don't care because we know the future.
also don't forget about cold storage.

Sure you can, remember bitcoin found for freedom, all we can do. We can manipulate the bitcoin if we have sufficient stock, everyone will agree and do not complain if you can control it.
I agree with you, to manipulate the price of Bitcoin Only those who have a large number of cryptocurrency. They can act so that the price goes up or falls on the stock exchanges. Though it's possible that we can influence the price of bitcoins but it is not that easy since there are guys who hold more than 100 bitcoins and yet they are not sure when the price will went up and down. So, maybe someone having 1k bitcoins can influence the price with a significant change but low amount holders can just be happy by altering a bit. you should never forget that no matter how much you influence bitcion price and how much you manipulte it, all those effects would be temoprary. none of the last long. and ever day that passes and new people come in and others become more experienced it becomes harder. and right now for every newbie weak hand there are 100 experienced traders waiting to buy their hands. and soon it will be 1000 and so on. |

bitcoin is gold 2.0 and right now it may seem at a high price with all the all tme high ATH calls and repeating the similar words over and over again, but the fact remains that price of bitcoin is rising and will rise big time.
this means even if you buy bitcoin at $2000 right now you are still going to make a lot of profit.

that is true and you make a lot of profit if you do that. but the question is mostly about how you can make (earn) bitcoin. for example if you have a skill and use it to get paid with bitcoin. or my favorite if you are into trading altcoins how you can make lots of bitcoin profit by trading them. |

Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
Aside for that losing is a part of trading while doing trade, losing also is the heart of trading platfrom too. Because the more the traders loss in the platform is the more the exchanges is getting profit unto them through in every transaction they've made it. this is not gambling my friend and you are not trading against the exchange platform (house!). you are trading with other traders (real people) on the platform only and exchanges can not care less about you and whether you lose or win they take their money (0.2% fee) on each trades that you make. |

Trading is always better than gambling because it's not too risky like gambling.
Also, We can't talk about luck in trading, because skills played a big part in it. I don't mean that skills don't be a part of gamling, but the domination of luck is the big part.
So for me, I don't consider gambling as a way to get profit, Always i gambling for fun.
I consider trading is a nice domain, which you can get a lot of money, if you learned a lot about it. I advice people to enrolling into this domain.

Trading needs research, knowledge, and skills. With all the information, you can have a better chance of being successful in trading. While in gambling you can only rely in your chance of winning. With this, we establish that trading is really better than gambling. However, there are professional gamblers whose strategies don't depend exclusively on luck, and that is why there are successful gamblers with the enough profitability to make a living from gambling. And in the case of trading we also need to keep in mind the usual uncertainty and unpredictability of markets, that makes the trading activity also dependent on luck in a certain degree. I do agree that many experts have lost a lot of money in trading due to uncertain market conditions. But that doesn't mean that gambling is better than trading. Because I believe there are no successful gamblers, they might have won few times big amounts, but if they continue gambling surely, they will again lose money because all gambling games need only luck. I still prefer trading because profits making chances are better than gambling. losing money in trading once doesn't mean anything. the only thing that matters is their total performance. if they were making profit all the week long and lost once time it means they are still in profit and lots of it. and besides you can always prevent the loss in trading by for example selling fast on price drops and then buy back at the bottom to cover the samll loss in the start. and this is something you can never do in trading. |

my response is that you either need to change your glasses or you are looking at the wrong place. because there is no similarity between 2013 and 2017 bitcoin price charts other than the ATH price.  go find a 6 year old kid and ask him/her if they think these two pictures are similar or not! |

if we are talking about something like $100-500 then yeah, why not. but it is a couple of thousands and it is all a young person has then no. i would always advise against it.
this is never a good idea to go all in anything even if you are 99.99999% sure it will make you profit, although i get your point of saying you live with your parents but still it is your money that you are going to lose possibly.

$1300 - $1400 is my vote. I see resistance within the $1500 mark.
Havent done much research about the ETF thing but I think enlisting bitcoin to that would be a deal but not a great one.
It is just for people's knowledge that it does exist but within ETF I see not much can be done for the better value.
you are not alone. and it really isn't that important to know what ETF is at this point if you ask me. the news about it is getting exagerated and turning into a hype and if it fails then it will be a big FUD by that time. and in my opinion that is all you need to know about ETF, that people are giving it too much thought and every time this happens their actions are affected by this. |

What exactly are you talking about, bitcoin does not give big impact with only one country especially the Philippines which is considered as small country. Also, what we are talking here is about future online gambling which most of us perceive that will be dominated by Bitcoin. Bitcoin has really provided extra income for most of us online because we are able to pick up part time jobs that pays us extra to complement our monthly income from our full time job. to be honest i already was doing some online jobs here and there even before knowing bitcoin and i had some tiny amount of extra income from the internet. but when i found out about bitcoin this field grew for me. and i was earning more money (bitcoin) and from more resources. and since bitcoin price goes up it is like investment earning at the same time. |

Really, It's a great project. I think you worked hard to create this site. Don't like other people who bought script and just copy / pasting.
So about the gambling site, I think it's nice idea. Many people like gambling and maybe a lot of them are addicted. so if you build your site correctly and adding all sections of gambling, with a nice design and easy to use, it will succeed. I assure to you.

You are right no matter how many new and old casinos sites exist in the market gamblers always look for more and more sites. I think though that now the market being so stable that people have their fixed site for simple games we need to give the gamblers some new sort of games or at least new concept with the same old hashing system for verification. Yes, gambling websites will function successfully with at least a small profit. Because these days gambling websites with bitcoin usage is gaining more importance than gambling websites with fiat. Adding unique games with increased winning possibility will reach users easily. i agree with that but it is not like if you just make a new website it will be successful and make you profit! you can see how many new online casinos start working every day and most of them dice games and none of them even become popular enough for us to hear their names. it is because people think since other sites are successful if they make one, that would be successful too! |
