So it's the day of the Dub nation at the first 3 quarters of the game, it was a close fight. But on the final minutes of 4th quarter well it was decided on who's going to win. Cavs choked at the 4th quarter and they have a dramatic lose on their very own home court advantage. Lead scorers does have the same score, Durant and Lebron who had 32 points.

You were absolutely right. It was almost a direct battle between Durant and Lebron James. Cleveland Cavaliers lost the match because they couldn't provide the much needed support to Lebron. On the other hand for the Golden State, Kevin Durant was ably supported by his team-mates such as Stephen Curry.

If you ask me , I would say 60-40 in Indian favour right now. 300 below isn't sufficient and Indians have plenty of time to bat . SA must bowl tight and I know they will .

Anything above 200 is going to be extremely difficult during the 4th innings, especially in the South African pitches. And right now India is struggling at 16/2, with both Vijay and Rahul back in the pavilion. India's only hope is Virat Kohli. If he gets out, then it is over for them. And right now I would rate the match in South Africa's favor, by a margin of 80-20.

Good comeback by Indian bowlers in the 3rd session but still 280 is not a bad score and they might score 350+ if Du plesis doesn't get out early.

Yup.... 350+ looks likely. But if Ashwin bowls well, then India may be able to limit them to somewhere around 300, and have a chance of winning the match. But if SA scores in excess of 350, then I am afraid that India is going to lose this match as well.
There is a chance of draw as well this time according to me because India has changed some batsmen and they are good at defending so we gotto wait and see till today tea session .

Remember that the first innings lasted less than 90 overs. It is going to be extremely difficult to bat for more than a day in this pitch and therefore I would say that the chances of a draw is next to zero. On top of that South Africa is having good bowlers such as Keshav Maharaj and Vernon Philander, who can be lethal in the 4th innings.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 14, 2018, 04:13:43 AM
For now Bitcoin is King, but sooner or later people will be fed up of the ridiculously high transaction fees and other issues it has....

Two weeks back there were reports of users paying more than $100 as transaction fee for a single transaction. This is not viable in the long term. The fee has fallen during the past few days, but still it is quite high compared to what we had a few months back. And at this point of time, there are around 155,000 unconfirmed transactions in the Blockchain.
885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laptop Stolen with Bitcoin Wallet on: January 14, 2018, 04:07:25 AM
My laptop got stolen a few hours ago. It had all my data including bitcoin too.
Fortunately I had the seeds with me and I have now installed Electrum on my work machine and recovered the wallet with those keys.
It also asked for a password and I have gone with a new one. The wallet is still Synchronizing.

Now my question is, are my bitcoins safe now? Do I need to do anything else? The stolen laptop has the electrum in it, what else should I do to make sure that my bitcoins are secure?

This is a really stupid question. Your laptop is stolen and still you want to use the old wallet? You can create a new wallet in about 2 minutes. Please create one and transfer your coins to the new wallet. You never know whether your laptop is in the possession of hackers or not. Better safe now, than sorry later.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: January 14, 2018, 03:58:07 AM
I don't think it's possible to solve the world's poverty problem in a lot of ways, not bitcoin.

I agree with you. If you really want to end the world poverty, then you need to popularize family planning and implement one-child policy. An investment asset such as Bitcoin can never eradicate poverty, because even if you give it to the poor for free, they are going to use it to purchase booze and drugs.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Trading Gambling? on: January 14, 2018, 03:54:11 AM
Bitcoin trading is also like gambling that you need to invest, but the percentage you earn income using trading is much higher than gambling. In terms of gambling you may earn a lot of income but you can possibly lost high amount. However, in terms of trading you can possibly earn high amount of income without any losing of investment.

What load of BS? Either you don't have an idea about crypto-trading, or you are just posting rubbish to increase your post-count. Who told you that there is no chance of losing your investment in trading? A lot of people have lost their entire investments in trading alts and Bitcoin. There is always a risk associated with trading. If there was none, then everybody in the world would be trading crypto.

What a matched between GSW and Raptors, is so amazing with Durant, Curry and Thompson playing like a beast they managed to win even Derozan and the rest of the Raptors tried their best, the fans really enjoyed hoping after their team chased the 27 deficit coming back from the half time, that comeback really makes the team very competitive just a 2 point lead after the final buzzer.

Yes.. it was an amazing match. Remember the second quarter? The Golden State Warriors smashed the Toronto Raptors 38-19 in that quarter. After the two quarters, GSW was leading the match 81-54. But the Raptors came back amazingly during the next two quarters and almost won the match. The Raptors need to give some support for DeMar DeRozan.

890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 05:04:04 AM
precisely altcoin is more at risk than bitcoin. altcoin does not have a definite future, altcoin only has a small marketcap so anything can happen to the altcoin including die, although it gives the possibility of greater profits because altcoin could rise several times in short term, but the risk on altcoin is greater, I think holding bitcoin is the easiest and safest method to make a profit in the long run,,

There is a lot of risk associated with altcoins, but if you want to take the risk, then the chances are that you will get rich in the near future. Look at how the altcoins have rallied during the last few months. Verge has risen by 10,000 times. Even established coins such as Ethereum and Ripple have given more than 100x returns for those who invested in them.
891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 13, 2018, 05:01:20 AM
I don't think that the media is against Bitcoin. They used to be against Bitcoin until 2016, but the situation changed a lot this year. For the past many months, the coverage by and large has been positive, apart from a few articles here and there regarding the statements by anti-Bitcoin individuals such as Warren Buffet and Jamie Dimon.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: January 13, 2018, 04:55:49 AM
Everything depends on your holdings and financial situation. If you are in a good financial condition, then it won't be a bad idea to convert a part of your coins to fiat cash. And one thing to remember is the tax implications. Check in which tax slab your income is falling and plan the sale accordingly.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 13, 2018, 04:50:48 AM
Ireland beat UAE by 4 wickets in Dubai. Matches between 'minnows' can usually go either way, but Ireland are a strong team. They are the favourites in the tri-series being played between UAE, Ireland and Scotland. It is good for the cricketing world if Ireland improves and they even have a couple of matches scheduled against India in the first half of 2018.

Ireland really struggled against the UAE, and the latter had home ground advantage. At one point, they were at 5/91, before Gary Wilson and Ed Joyce rescued them from complete humiliation. Irish batting still looks quite weak, with the exception of Stirling, Joyce and Wilson. Perhaps Eoin Morgan should move back to Ireland, since they are a test nation now.  Grin
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 220: Miocic vs Ngannou Info and Prediction Thread on: January 13, 2018, 04:45:10 AM
Anyone interested in the Daniel Cormier vs. Volkan Oezdemir fight? I am going to bet on Volkan and I will skip the Miocic vs Ngannou fight. I have checked a few gambling sites, and many of them have under-rated Volkan. I watched his fights against Misha Cirkunov (UFC Fight Night 109) and Jimi Manuwa (UFC 214). He was completely awesome.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: January 13, 2018, 04:39:01 AM
If you are in a profit, then it means that you are lucky. So I would suggest you gamble with your profit and take your chances. Another strategy may be to keep 50% of the profit aside and gamble with the remainder. In that case, you will be left with some funds even if you lose all of your subsequent games.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Q for Bitcoin gamblers. Are you affected by high transaction fees? on: January 13, 2018, 04:35:28 AM
Obviously everyone is effected by the high transaction fee. Earlier, the withdrawal fee was like $0.10 per transaction. Now it has climbed to somewhere between $15 and $30 per transaction. So even if you are lucky and have a few big wins, you will be less inclined to withdraw your funds.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the benefits of bitcoin? on: January 11, 2018, 10:50:08 AM
Here are some of the major benefits, IMO:

1. Anonymity, up to a certain degree.
2. Ease of doing transactions.
3. Ease of storage.
4. Easily movable or convertible to other assets.
5. Decentralized asset, which can't be controlled or manipulated by anyone.
898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Trading Gambling? on: January 11, 2018, 10:47:09 AM
I guess that is the case. Till now, no one has successfully predicted the Bitcoin prices in the long term. Look at what happened during the past 24 hours. No one saw the Korea ban coming. The same was the case in September, when the Chinese tried to ban the local exchanges.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 11, 2018, 10:44:55 AM
I'll go with the Houston vs Portland over 217 as I believe this team has lack of defense and they love shooting 3s.
Harden is out and that is no problem as long as Paul will be playing great as he manage the floor and can find an open man, also Lillard is back so I am expecting a high scoring game though.

It was an exciting match and I was favoring the Houston Rockets (didn't made any bets in this game though). The outcome was clear after the first two quarters. Lillard was at his best, but his team mates failed to support him. On the other hand, for the rockets the combo of Gordon and Paul worked well this time.

Who is going to win the Sydney Thunder vs Perth Scorchers match in BBL? I made a bet in favor of Thunder and let's see how it turns out to be. Thunder made a massive score bating first (175/4), with Khawaja making 85. Perth is struggling, at 20/1 (Bosisto is the man who got out).
