881  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: October 04, 2017, 08:41:36 PM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

It's a big YES for your question, they know the existence of bitcoin before we knew it. And they invested to bitcoin long before thus it now adds even more to their wealth. Most of the billionaires mindset is not to be afraid in taking risk. It is their capital to success, that is why they are wealthy right now.
Bitcoin is a very big currency. If a billionaires invest in bitcoin we don’t know if they don’t invest it so we also don’t know only billionaires don’t think bitcoin invest is risky a normal man can also think this rick. But we seem how many follower of bitcoin look it your in society how many people invest in if happy to bitcoin invest you all also invest in bitcoin

We might or usually don't get to know about the Investment from rich millionaires or billionaires, but often if we follow the news can get some indications, even sometimes their thinking about it. Like Bill Gates indicated he supports Bitcoin and highly possible that he has invested. Their involvement in any direction can influence the ordinary citizens. I believe many Billionaire had invested or acquired, but who are they and how much can just be estimated only.
882  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase wallet on: October 04, 2017, 06:02:03 PM
Would you think that coinbase wallet is more secure for stock for bitcoin?

And is there any possibility to lost my btc from coinbase wallet?
Using online wallet has a big possibility to lost our fund, we do not hold their system they can easily shutdown their data base and we do not access our account anymore, but if there is local bitcoin wallet in your country and you are holding your private key i think that is much better to used to hold your bitcoin. Also blockchain is one of the best wallet for me i do not experience any trouble using their services but i think also coinbase is one of trusted bitcoin wallet even i do not using it but the feedback by other users was a proof that this wallet is very legit.

Anything where you don't hold your private keys is unsafe for long time holding. Considering it an investment, simply go for paper wallet or wallets with only you having the keys. Though you don't have the private keys in Coinbase, I don't think it will simply shut down and scam people. Its a very legit company, unless they get hacked, and I hope they won't be.

I didn't received any payment (airdrop+ avatar campaign) this monday, is that normal ? Did other people received the payments?

Even I didn't received it for both airdrop and avatar campaign, even my known friends didn't received any airdrop.

I didn't received any payment (airdrop+ avatar campaign) this monday, is that normal ? Did other people received the payments?

You did receive the Avatar payment (bonus 46 Bitsend) as I see in the spreadshet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VQemmZpxurPy6YW5HhL05goWuG0osXGJpCXFYtV41vQ/edit#gid=1594462726

But, you didn't receive any airdrop payment.

It is credited in the spreadsheet but not showing in the wallet.

hi bitsenders, I believe that I have found a bug in the wallet, do you have a bug bounty program to report it?
cheers!

I believe this is the problem, basically the peer or blocks are not getting updated anymore since 4 days.
885  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: freebitco.in "Browser Mining" - is it worth it? on: October 04, 2017, 09:47:02 AM
I think it's worthless. Because it's like ripping your PC CPU for just satoshis. If your PC is old and you didn't clear it recently, browser mining could literary fry you CPU. Because in old and unclean PC's there is a lot of dust and this is lowering cooling abilities of the fans inside.

It is true that a lot of dust will reduce the cooling, however, it is complete nonsense to suggest that will fry your computer. It will just cause the PC to ease back the frequency of the processor, giving less performance, or even in an extream situation to shut it down.

It won't do such things for sure, and cleaning is individuals responsibility, even not cleaning and using casually can do similar harms. But I don't think it will be profitable enough if cost of running the system is taken into account. But if the BTC price goes up and the rewards is fixed, we may achieve something.
Personally I think if you want to mine, do it in a proper manner as it is done, much better option to go for.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: October 03, 2017, 08:19:48 PM
Bitcoin price is not Stable.
if it will stable i will take salary by btc.

It Has Not Security.  If you forgot your Key.
Nothing to say.

I will not take my salary by bitcoin.

The fluctuation with fiat is obviously the primary concern and main reason to not take BTC as Salary. If the local market or world economy accepts Bitcoin, then only its viable and feasible to take Salary in form of Bitcoin. Otherwise it might turn out to be profitable or sometimes disastrous while converting it to fiat unless you instantly convert it. And if it is so then its better to accept fiat rather take up extra hassle of converting.
887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: October 02, 2017, 08:24:29 PM
We know that Bittrex and Poloniex are the most sought after exchangers.
But I want to know which one is best to trade? and I want to know why.
Thanks.  Wink
In my opinion, bittrex is the best exchange to trade your cryptocurrencies. I love their services and the security provided to secure your funds, adding to the fact that the site itself is user friendly in the sense that you can easily buy and sell coins.

I use bittrex to trade all the times, I have tried poloneix and bitfinex, they are not bad but bittrex is outstanding.

Bittrex is the best with best user experience, with negligible issues. I started with Livecoin and Poloniex, but soon had to leave Poloniex, it was just a personal preference, but now I see many complaints frequently. I still use Livecoin as I can add fiat from online payment processors, but for most of my trade at the moment Bittrex is my primary exchange. But for few new altcoins, I have to shift to other exchanges other than this two.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment method or Credit card which is more secure for a website ? on: October 02, 2017, 07:08:39 PM
I have to say that; Credit cards are more suitable for payment, because the time came with the 3D security system. Spending technology did not develop much because bitcoin was used for trade purposes only. I think this is the fault of the users like us.

I would also say Credit Card is still secure and easy to use compared to Bitcoin for older generations. But yes technical faults does happen in Credit Card systems, and till date I haven't seen any issues. Only issue with Bitcoin is its time, other than that I would say Bitcoin method will be better for newer generations and even older as well if they can use it.
About the security system, both are getting enhanced, so for both the system security issue is going down if the owner is careful enough.
889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin Hard Fork due in November. BTC price up or down? on: October 02, 2017, 05:13:38 PM
I am not worried about the price drop. My concern is the hardfork status. If the hardfork is buggy we are all in the trouble of having a corrupted crypto currency. Or we could have a successful hardfork but rumors of failed hardfork or exploitable blockchain can make btc dump again.

Exactly true, its not the price drop that should be peoples concern. Even there will be speculation which will confuse many. The price will surely get a dip whether it is successful or not. Ya now if its fail it will be a tough situation, possibility of network issues and various disruptions is surely possible. Hope it get smoother as the previous fork.

891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 01, 2017, 07:36:16 PM
Newcastle vs Liverpool 1-1

I think both teams have the same quality right now, they have a point that is not much different. although liverpool is a great team but they are now unable to show their best ability at the moment. newcastle will be playing at home and I'm sure newcastle could provide strong resistance. this will be a very interesting game and I'm sure the final score is 1-1. both teams will get 1 point and they will be quite happy with this result.

I thought and hoped that Liverpool will win, but it end with a tie, still better though. Newcastle did had an advantage of home side, but still Liverpool had a strong enough team. Never mind both well played. On the other Arsenal won their game as expected.

The next game of Manchester United with Liverpool will be something to not miss, as per the performance showcase, Manchester United seems to be clear winner.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 01, 2017, 07:13:13 PM
The one day series between Australia and India was quite one sided. Never thought to see this performance from Australia. Though both played well, but it seemed Smith's team lacked something on field. India is a well molded team to snatch victory ofcourse, but competition from other end would entertain us all, no matter whoever wins.

894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: October 01, 2017, 01:59:34 PM
If the blocks are not full we can say that people are not using too much bitcoin, what will happen if nobody use bitcoin is the price will fall down because if nobody is interested then they will try to sell them asap, and when nobody is interested to buy the price gets dumped.
We can see that bitcoin system mostly depends on the people who uses bitcoin in transactions. So if people will stop using bitcoin in terms of transaction, the only thing it could give to bitcoin is the price decreased that will also result for people do not trust bitcoin more. So the best thing to do is to used bitcoin as a part of our investments, trading and in our daily transactions.

Yes, the result will diminish the existence of Bitcoin after subsequent and continuous value dip, but I hope and believe that it won't happen, as the users and usage is going to increase even more in coming future. The crypto world is getting stronger with many upcoming altcoins and Bitcoin is used as a primary crypto as well, to trade and exchange.
The acceptance in online shops is also increasing. The international transaction with low fees has been a great opportunity and people are gradually realizing it all.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: October 01, 2017, 12:44:18 PM
it is not possible bitcoin will replace paypal as a means of payment that is currently being triumphed. But it must be accompanied by fixes and additions of bitcoin features, to be fast and precise. Nowadays many are using bitcoin as a direct payment tool, but not all areas of commerce are willing to accept bitcoin, which should be corrected bitcoin.

I also think Bitcoin can never replace them, surely it might come parallel as a competition, but replacing is quite unnatural.
Many people even using Bitcoin, uses Paypal. In emergency Paypal is still a winner as it takes no time to receive.
896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 30, 2017, 12:36:07 PM
hodl and buy more  Cheesy
You have although said quite few words but you have given the best advice. I will agree to what all you have said. I think the best way to cash those moments is by buying as many Bitcoins as you can at the time when prices are falling down. This will be the decision which you’ll be satisfied with the most in the future.
oh yeah,
this is good for us to buy when the prices are pretty low. but the really good thing is that when you sell your bitcoin when you feel that price is pretty much high, and then again buy bitcoin when price become goes down, and in this way just enjoy your profit.

Exactly. Never panic. Think for the long term because it will be beneficial if you can take advantage of any drops to add bitcoins at a much lower price. More profit for the future
When prices are going down hold the coins you have in wallet and buy the new one as much as you can because sooner the prices will go high and give you blow of profit so that you will feel proud on your decision of holding and buying new ones and remember one thing buy low sell high this make successful profiteer.

I agree with this opinion, only if you are a long term investor. If you are a short term investor, check whether you are in profit or loss. If profit you can sell, if your target is fulfilled or nearby it. And if loss better wait out only if you intend to extend your time. Analyse when it can hit back and make you profit, or else square of if you don't want to wait more or take more risk.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: September 30, 2017, 09:21:05 AM
buy altcoin mean you take more risk but you will get more profit than invest btc or eth

There are many altcoins, which is similar to the risk involved with Bitcoin. BTC can also provide good profit, but the investment capital should be high, whereas in altcoins the capital is less enough. Few altcoins have huge prospects, which may give reasonable return, but you have to wait for more 1-3 Years.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers are active these days. on: September 29, 2017, 07:18:18 PM
Can be threatened if an active hacker can be a bitcointalk account that we have on his hacher, we have to be careful, we have to be active in each account, so hacher can not take our account.
yes, beware of hackers,
hackers at any time can steal your account or btc,
use 2FA in each of your account, and beware of web phishing, that's very dangerous,
Hackers are always in fetch to hack. But the bitcoin algorithm are not so simple that they will be broken easily so no need to worry about your investment. It is in safe hands and nobody will rob it so let this thing in the hand of system administrators who are one of the best in the world.

Hackers are always seeking opportunity which can give some good return on the effort they gave. And hackers been active in Bitcoin era is pretty obvious.
Hackers probably targets the web wallets and people who are not careful. Investors with their own private keys are relatively safe.

Hacking is obviously tough, they just wait to take the opportunity to hit there targets mistake.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: September 29, 2017, 09:36:35 AM
I don’t see myself for now having fun and treating trading as a game. Since one of the main reason is I'm not wealthy to feel OK or to just let any loss that I might stumbled even after loosing a lot from trading. For now I take trading seriously and carefully. But then once I accumulated enough wealth then maybe in the near future I can enjoy it and play around it like a game.

Exactly, trading is some serious stuff, if anyone wants fun, it can be termed as gambling. I believe even if one is rich, he/she should not make fun and trade lightly or casually. Trading has a reasonable rate of return, why would anyone should or want to just blow it away.

Though its a personal choice, even if I had enough money, I would rather try to increase it more rather having fun via stupid means. Grin
900  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: September 29, 2017, 08:46:48 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is definitely not a gambling.  Even some site offer bitcoin gambling services, it is depend upon the person if he or she want to engage their bitcoins in gambling.  But in general, it is not a gambling.  Instead, it is an investment and a source of income.

People who consider it as a gambling might not be well informed or possess half knowledge about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Its stupid to say it as a gambling, the first and main term is obviously "currency"

I agree, it has the same relationship with gambling as it has with fiat. Fiat and Cryptocurrencies can be used to gamble.
I believe the investment opportunity is being termed as gambling as the value of it jumps up and down quite quickly and is very sensitive to global movement.
