I think there is nothing wrong with the bitcoin itself, just one exchange, so the price will rise again. yes that is a fact and now the price of bitcoin is raising again, the bad news about the bitfinex really effect the whole market and the prices felldown too much but now the people understand the reality and now they start buying bitcoin again , and hope that the price of bitcoin is going to reach to its previous position very soon. within the next 5 years, the problem is increasingly difficult mining bitcoin. if not balanced by the increase in the price of bitcoin, then there will be no more miners bitcoin, bitcoin best course is to introduce to the public, so that they know and use bitcoin. So that Bitcoin could continue as now. but I believe, the next 5 years will be more expensive bitcoin. The major obstacle I see is the adoption of technology. Many newbies are losing their coins and that’s not good for the network in the long run although it increases price of bitcoins in circulation. Another thing I would like to bring on board is government’s approach toward bitcoin. If we could not do something to prevent it from being criminal’s currency then not only governments but also rest of the world will not have good point of view towards us. We can always deal with small issues like price fall (just like current one) as we have dealt with it before this.

Hopefully eth price does drop further and ETC goes up to where ETH is at at the moment. I think soon enough both are destined to fail but at least hopefully i can squeeze the last bit of profit out of it that i can.
Ethereum has got a life after hard fork, and I think now it does not have any chance to go to sub $1 , and ETC is copying ETH, I cannot say that it will have any future as it does not represent a unique image but just a copy of ETH and competing ETH. ETH will drop because of ETC taken but it will not definitely go to 1 dollars unless the ETH foundation abandons the coin. ETC is just hype at the moment unless they can work on something exciting. It is quite difficult for the ETH and ETC coexist. One of them will go below $1 or even less in the next few months. The people now has interest in it, and they are investing in there, but I don't think that it will be beneficial like it was before, it will give some profit to its users but I do not see any long life of it, I do not see any base of it in the future. I am wondering if the ETC will have enough development in the future. It might be just a pump and dump coin. |

I hold most of the bitcoins I bought in the last few years. I spend some of them. I will hold for the long term.
i also hold most of the bitcoins i have, in my opinion it is the best way of making easy money over time though thats only my thoughts If you hold your bitcoins, you do not need to worry about the price volatility. The bitcoin price will rise later. I totally agree because it has happened several times after prices crashed shortly will begin to rise slowly, and many people have received huge profits from it. I think the bitcoin price will rise in September of October. I think the 2MB block size increase will happen before then. i hope you are right though the price is unpredictable, but in my opinion the overall trend should be upwards, i think the price might become huge I hope the bitcoin price will recover from the Bitfinex soon. There was over 10% drop in the last day. |

ETH hac no chance to increase again back because they are converting to ETC so better to dont expect to by ethereum..
Instead by ETC
Vitalik said he will be 100% with ETH. So I think there is very small chance for the ETC to succeed. |

that is why people are always afraid so much to invest in ethereum, because it is a super controlled coin. besides they have been dumping their coins for a long time but they have enough experience not to dump it all at once and do it slowly at the top.

I suspect so. We have about a month to find out if the ETC is a scam coin or not. If it does not survive, and not developed properly, it is quite dangerous. ETC price is driven purely by speculation at the momemt,. I don't think people are buying these coins to use them, people are only buying these two assets at the moment because there is a very strongly possibility that the price will change dramatically. So 'support' is irrelevant. Ignoring ETC for the moment, can anyone tell me why ETH hasn't crashed? I refuse to believe the entire ETH camp has been Cool Hand Luke about this new fork news, yet I don't see the reaction Id expect. What you said could be right. For the ETC, it is just a speculation tool. You have to sell before the big dump. The big dump could happen when the DAO hacker sell his/her coins. That is quite big amount for dump. That could happen. We still do not know the intention of the DAO hacker at the moment. It is quite concerning. The "stolen" Ethereum ETC is an overhang on the ETC. When that is cleared, ETC might rise a lot again. |
