8161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 08:20:53 PM
Well it looks like you have gotten your wish (partially). Pornhub just announced that they are partnering with XVG to bring anonymous payments to their platform. They even made a cheesy announcement video for it. Check out the following reddit;

8162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to improve Bitcoin Community on: April 05, 2018, 10:56:58 AM
I think the major way we could work to improve the bitcoin community is by actually having community spirit, treating each other as comrades rather than competition. Helping to build each other up, rather than knocking each other down. Right now the community is quite hostile, new coins actively try to discredit old ones, and vice-versa, there is no real attempt to build a better coin for the sake of the future, but instead appears to be done only for maximum profit. This is no Satoshi's vision.
8163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: April 03, 2018, 05:21:43 PM
The market value of ETH is relatively high, and there are thousands of pieces. The price of EOS is less than one hundred yuan, which is relatively low. If we divide the market equally, either EOS will go up or ETH will fall. The news that V said today is good for the ether.

There isn't much reason why ETH should be able to maintain its position against strong upstarts like EOS/NEO and ADA. However, ERC-20 based currencies will struggle to overcome the original system (ETH). It's similar to having a single page contain more information than an entire book, although it's possible, it just isn't practical. For this reason, although these are technically superior, they wont beat the currency from which they sprang.
8164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's official Amazon now accepts Bitcoin directly on: April 01, 2018, 12:01:19 PM
This is very cool news, if such large stores start accepting crypto-currencies, then it will very firmly enter our life!

Sub 90 IQ detected. Obviously this is a joke, Amazon are quite clearly anti-crypto and don't need to take any unnecessary risks as their current business model is working out very well for them already. It is an April fools joke.
8165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoin why Bitcoin's price fell. on: March 31, 2018, 03:09:38 PM
The bitcoin why bitcoin's price fell? Something about that sentence seems odd, can't place my finger on it.

The reason bitcoin fell is obvious, certainly a warning to binance wouldn't be sufficient to cause such a striking drop in value over such a short time-frame. In my opinion, the dip is due to Facebook/Twitter/Snapchat all banning ICO ads, and partially due to reddit not accepting BTC as a payment method anymore.

There hasn't been any positive news to negative these, so the headlines have spread like wildfire, making cryptocurrency seem like a poor investment to most non-experts. Over time, the negative hysteria will die down, and we will see an improvement in the conditions. Remember, just 3-4 weeks ago we were in the exact same position, and then BTC recovered to ~$12,000.

It's not over yet. Keep hodling.

8168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 12, 2017, 01:19:53 PM
Why not? bitcoin will likely be on the top for the foreseeable future, I have only ever BTC be eclipsed by another cryptocurrency once, and that was when Zcash was first released and there was unbelievably hype. Somebody actually bought a single ZEC for around 3,300 BTC, the horror.

I do actually believe there are other coins in the pipeline that have the potential to overthrow Bitcoin, though I do still think it is unlikely. Bitcoin was the first, and often the first monopolizes the market, as with most technologies. Why do you think there are only two major CPU manufacturers, Intel/AMD.... Because they were the FIRST.
8169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people start moving their savings to Bitcoin in case of a financial crash? on: June 12, 2017, 01:03:47 PM
Found this.. is it all fud? "Legendary investor Jim Rogers predicts a market crash in the next few years, one that he says will rival anything he has seen in his lifetime."

http://www.businessinsider.com/jim-rogers-worst-crash-lifetime-coming-2017-6

Some of the blog sites nowadays are full of hoaxes or fraudulent claims, they often fabricate stories to generate some decent traffic. I wouldn't necessarily take what you read in the media seriously, as probably at least 70% of it is either dramatized, or blown way out of proportion. Stupidly, the weak hands see this news, and think their savings are essential good as gone unless they act now. The same doesn't happen with fiat, so why does it happen with crypto?
8170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 12, 2017, 12:55:43 PM
When does the ICO actually end, it seems the date has been changed recently. Is this for one month only, or is there a mistake?

I can't wait for the result, I've invested a few ETH and really believe this project will be successful.

Also, could you implement a collaborative space, that would be great!
8171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community on: June 10, 2017, 07:42:17 PM
Are you planning on having a social media component for the bounty?

8173  Economy / Economics / Capitalism, why does it ignore the farmer? on: February 05, 2017, 10:59:58 AM
People should promote local products and be proud, it would a good way to have economic progress for any country. Stopping capitalism will help to balance the socio-economic hierarchy. I believe that if people at the base level are given enough incentive, then those above them will reap greater rewards, and which will in turn trickle down back to those who built the entire system.

Why does capitalism so often neglect the backs upon which it's built? How does this system manage to thrive for so long, when the masses are receiving the least benefit?
8174  Other / Politics & Society / Sustainability for our planet on: February 05, 2017, 10:49:10 AM
We always see people doing the three R's for mother earth the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle but does it really help in sustaining our planet. Much of the people doesn't really know the amounts of waste scattered all over the world making them not aware of the risk of simple litering in the streets. Scientifically there really an end in our planet, we  should all work together in making plans to make our planet sustainable for future generations.
8175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Talking about Atheism... on: February 05, 2017, 10:30:25 AM
Personally I don't see any problem in people who are atheists. We have a freedom to choose who we believe in, what we believe in or if we believe in anything at all. We have different philosophies in our life and different point of views our choice is our, we should not judge them let just mind our own business.
8176  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: February 05, 2017, 10:15:37 AM
Loaning is a good way. In loaning use it as a capital for a good business. When you already have a business you will have a steady income for yourself and if the busses goes really well you will be able to pay your loan immediately.

8178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 30, 2017, 12:33:21 PM

8179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC withdrawal on: January 30, 2017, 12:25:55 PM
You can actually deposit your money into somewhere like Localbitcoins.com, from there you will be able to sell your bitcoin to somebody who will pay you by bank transfer. This is pretty much the same as a bank withdrawal, just requiring a third party.

However, cashing out directly from BTC to Bank Transfer is not possible since they're two different platforms. Unless your bank has a built-in exchange, which I highly doubt considering most banks hate crypto.

Shoot me a PM if you need any help.
