I think it is better for the bitcoin price to stay around the current levels for a few weeks, then it will rise further.

Anyhow, got a new rom, 1.5Mh speed increase per card for Ethereum at the same power usage  , in my case, that's 8Mh extra per rig which is a lot will release it soon! Greetings! Fair enough, but then the hashrate of the people who didn't vote, shouldn't be used to enforce the will of the ones who voted, because maybe they don't like any of these options.
Also in this case, if they dont vote it also means theyre okay with whatever outcome since if they disliked badly one result or wanted badly the other result, they would have voted already. And they could aswell not bother voting because they've seen the results "live" with yes leading the herd. So as you can see, there are plenty of options of why one wont vote, so you cannot simply take that inaction and go with the logic " silence is an answer too ". I mainly voted because i wanted badly not let the thief go away with milions of ether, possibly even 5 times more than he already stole because he took only ~20% of it , especially thinking about the future POS which will be implemented in early 2017. And in my opinion that would damage ethereum project more than 100 ethereum failed projects. The money losts arent even 10% as important as thief owning anywhere between 3.5% and 15% of ethereum tokens. Forgot about this, but its an argument aswell : in a real world vote referendum, you can cancel your vote by doing whatever, voting both options, draw hitler face on the paper or whatever is crosing your mind. But here you cannot do that, so its either that, or that. If you dont vote, whatever you think in the back of your head will remain there, since you have the chance to express your option and you dont. The same for uk people who didnt vote for brexit, most likely there are more people who regret not voting because of the result. But it was their option and they ll live with it.Conclusion : We live in an imperfect world, and we will continue to do so untill we either set the world on fire or an alien invasion will exterminate us. Untill then, we use what we have and deal with it, otherwise it would be anarchy since everyone has an opinion slightly different than the others and we would never agree about anything. It seems the process isn't democratic after all. If you go on ethpool and ethermine, you will see that (still) most votes are for the soft-fork (Non voters don't really have voice in this, like you said). Looking at the Ethereum chain, both pools don't enforce the softfork anymore. So now they go against what people voted for. How is this a democratic decision? Shouldn't they have to live with the results of the vote? There is a problem with the soft fork problem. At this point, the Ethereum is the best (most profitable) coin to mine. You have a choice many many miners. The Etheruem price has dropped a lot recently. It is not the most profitable now. The neoscrypt is the best. You cannot see a coin that is only moving to a positive direction, all have their bad and good times but if you believe it is a good potential in the future then you should mine and keep it. By the way, ether is already back on its good price now. For most miners, they have to sell around 30-50% of the Ethereum to cover their electricity cost. So there are strong buys to support the price. |

that is your opinion. But some miners do not agree. They are adding more hashing power to the network now. The miners ordered the graphics cards and other components before the drop, they had to assemble the mine any way. Ain't heard of returns? It seems they did not return. I completely agree. Bitcoin is the future King, but ETH will have its part in the kingdom They will coexist. They are quite unique. Each has its own function. The bitcoin is the first popular digital currency, it has many users. The Etheruem is the first fuel for smart contracts. These two have highest market cap, it is better to hold both. But the ratio of the holding is quite difficult to decide. After the recent DAO crisis, there is a concern about the Ethereum now. It will take some time to recover. I think the Ethereum programs/codes need to be audited properly. It should be more roubust in the future. Some of the big holder of the Ethereum and DAO are developers themselves. The OP was created in December last year. So it is reasonable to say hold at $300. We should say hold 500 now. I think the bitcoin price will hold the $500 pretty. It is quite stable now. After a few months, the price will be $800. The bitcoin price is happily above $575 at the moment. It dropped to $560 a few days ago, but bounced. The price is $700 now, that is just 2 days apart. What is going on with the bitcoin price? It is very strange. I think it is the effect of halving. The price could double to $1000 after the halving. Then it will rise further.
