I hold most of the bitcoins I bought in the last few years. I spend some of them. I will hold for the long term.
i also hold most of the bitcoins i have, in my opinion it is the best way of making easy money over time though thats only my thoughts If you hold your bitcoins, you do not need to worry about the price volatility. The bitcoin price will rise later. I totally agree because it has happened several times after prices crashed shortly will begin to rise slowly, and many people have received huge profits from it. I think the bitcoin price will rise in September of October. I think the 2MB block size increase will happen before then. i hope you are right though the price is unpredictable, but in my opinion the overall trend should be upwards, i think the price might become huge I hope the bitcoin price will recover from the Bitfinex soon. There was over 10% drop in the last day. |

yes bitcoin going to increase its too much faster and i hope that bitcoin will be increase its price to $800+ in the end of 2016 and i think bitcoin never dropped its price .
i hope that you are right, i hope that next year the new all time high in price will be achieved really easily, i think bitcoin is going to be bigger and bigger with time The Bitfinex exchange was hacked and lost about 120k coins. There is big price drop in the last 24 hours. |

that is why people are always afraid so much to invest in ethereum, because it is a super controlled coin. besides they have been dumping their coins for a long time but they have enough experience not to dump it all at once and do it slowly at the top.
At moment, the ETC is controlled by the Ethereum Foundation, the Hacker and some Chinese companies and miners. |

It is difficult to say if many people support it or not. That could be just a pump and dump like many scam coins.
I suspect so. We have about a month to find out if the ETC is a scam coin or not. If it does not survive, and not developed properly, it is quite dangerous. ETC price is driven purely by speculation at the momemt,. I don't think people are buying these coins to use them, people are only buying these two assets at the moment because there is a very strongly possibility that the price will change dramatically. So 'support' is irrelevant. Ignoring ETC for the moment, can anyone tell me why ETH hasn't crashed? I refuse to believe the entire ETH camp has been Cool Hand Luke about this new fork news, yet I don't see the reaction Id expect. What you said could be right. For the ETC, it is just a speculation tool. You have to sell before the big dump. The big dump could happen when the DAO hacker sell his/her coins. That is quite big amount for dump. That could happen. We still do not know the intention of the DAO hacker at the moment. It is quite concerning. The "stolen" Ethereum ETC is an overhang on the ETC. When that is cleared, ETC might rise a lot again. |

After this stability, perhaps we will see some dumps, then I think the price goes up.
That is quite accurate prediction so far. The price has just dropped a few percentage points. It might rise again. There is no need to worry about the slight price drop. It shall stay here for a few more months, and rise again. |

The amount of placed FUD against ETH is at its peak right now, this is usually always the case some days before it really goes up and up.
That could be right. But the price of the Ethereum is still high. Maybe we wait for a few more days to buy. The price of the Ethereum ETH did not drop a lot and the ETC has risen a lot. Some people are buying. |

I think the price rise because he now we see not dropping the price $ 600 . Maybe next year it will increase even more because many users of bitcoin . So it's better to keep a bitcoin now just wait for it to rise . Stable prices so hard to dropped it , but further price increases . Time to buy bitcoin for big profits.
I would recommend every active member of the forum buy 0.1 to 1 bitcoin if you think the bitcoin has future. It might not be a good idea as most forum members are not wealthy. Otherwise they will not be active here. |

Expect a major 51% attack on ETC this weekend. I'm calling it folks. Better to get out of ETC while the exits are still clear.
If true an attempt to destroy peoples wealth is as low as it gets. The original DAO thief and members of the ETH community who might support this idea have a lot in common. I do not think the major attack will happen before the Ethereum Foundation sells it ETC and the ETC price crashes. |

The Ethereum Classic or ETC price is sub 1 dollar at the moment. If it is 51% attacked, its price will be lower than 0.1.
I predict an attack on ETC by the weekend. If the ETC price keep on rising, the hash rate will also rise. So it is more difficult to 51% attack the ETC. The ETC hashing rate is about 19% of that of the ETH. It is quite difficult to attack it at the hashing rate. It is about 10% of the ETH now. The hash rate is also 10% of the ETH. When the price drops further, the hash rate will also drop. |
