901  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie should learn from this fast confirmed transactions tricks on: May 16, 2023, 09:55:54 PM
Okay, aware of transaction accelerators done by miners but, haven't given a check or trier on ViaBTC before. Its good to have these guys in operation but, bumping transactions comes more handy to me than those services.
Well, it all depends on the volume your sending but, it would be a service to check out some time and it sure would help on times as this.
When the bullrun comes, we might be having more use of these services and a paid package that isn't regulated by yourself isn't the best of idea to go about it.  Itsa good thing to have them free triers up and about, running.
ViaBTC transaction accelerator actually works if you meet the required criteria. Except for the most recent transaction that had a problem, I am not sure about sometime back when transaction fee rate was up around 200-500 sats/vbyte. My 20 sats/vbyte transaction got confirmed with their help using the free service option

It's probably the only legit free Bitcoin transaction accelerator I know about currently.
902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie should learn from this fast confirmed transactions tricks on: May 14, 2023, 08:23:24 PM
When you bump the fee, your transaction is replaced by a new one with a new ID and you should submit the new transaction. Maybe, you submitted the replaced transaction.
I have done what suggested by BlackBoss_ before and I can confirm that it works.
I submitted the new TX ID several times, on different browsers, different IP addresses and different devices, but it refused to work. I kept getting the same error and gave up with a conclusion that maybe they don't recognize transactions that have been recently bumped (Something like, If you can bump the transaction, then you don't need to use our free service)

Fortunately, over the night, the Bitcoin transaction fee rate lowered, and my transaction got confirmed.
903  Other / Meta / Re: [Script] Imgur to TalkImg - automatically fix your broken images on: May 14, 2023, 08:05:14 PM
I haven't checked my whole post history, but the script worked flawlessly for me.

In the version where TryNinja forgot to exclude his user ID, all I did was replace it with mine  Wink

Honestly, I didn't know what I was going to do about changing all my past Imgur linked images to a new image hosting site, but thanks to OP, all is good. Not all Hero wear caps. Respect!

904  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie should learn from this fast confirmed transactions tricks on: May 14, 2023, 07:56:05 PM
But this doesn't guarantee that a transaction will be confirmed quickly, the speed at which a transaction is confirmed depends on a number of factors, including the size of the transaction fee and the current network congestion.
If you successfully manage to submit your transaction ID to ViaBTC transaction accelerator. The only thing that will matter is how long it will take for ViaBTC to mine their next block. Be sure that they will include your low fee transaction in the next block they will mine

If the sender does not bump the fee to a fee rate that can be confirmed by miners, he can bump the fee rate to minimal accepted fee rate which is accepted by ViaBTC TX Accelerator to use that free fee accelerator service.
i could be wrong, but I have reason to believe that bumping the fee rate to minimal accepted fee rate by ViaBTC TX accelerator does not help. I did it before and all I could keep getting when trying to accelerate the transaction was "TX ID does not exit" and yet it was even a valid TX ID.

I wish you had checked our articles at least once before giving us a red flag. We say that some project is fraudulent because of some reasons. Can you deny that reason?
We say this project does not have a team. That project does not have a roadmap or business plan.
Why do you focus on the sidelines instead of paying attention to the main story?
Please anyone who has ever paid us to change an article come forward and share proof.
We are one of the few sites that working so hard and honestly for 3 years to help people.
I don't care if the project is fraudulent or not, but the fact that you are willing to up the score for a fee says something about you. It simply means even if the project was truly fraudulent, for a price, you will turn a blind eye to the red flags and convince your audience that the project is legitimate

You can not be trusted

We also know how to read and comprehend. Read your reply again

906  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie should learn from this fast confirmed transactions tricks on: May 13, 2023, 09:45:21 PM
It's not a secret, though. I personally used it early this week when the Bitcoin fee was up in the zone of 100 sats/vb. They have only 100 slots per hour and the transaction size has to be below 500 bytes if you are to use the free version.

The paid version is probably more expensive than just bumping the transaction with a higher fee if it's RBF enabled.

907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 12, 2023, 09:58:27 PM
It is very difficult to score 2 goals, AC Milan has no sharp strikers and Inter Milan defenders perform very well lately. If we consider the stats of the previous match, AC Milan players only got 2 shoot on target which means it is hard to penetrate to Inter defense zone. It will be harder if Inter Milan scores a fast goal in the next match, aggregate 3-0 will make AC Milan players frustrated. I assume Inter Milan is safe to qualify for the final,
It's A Milan Derby, remember?

They share the same pitch, so anything can still happen in the second leg.

They managed to beat Napoli 4 goals in a Seria A match not so long ago and then followed up and eliminated them in the UEFA Champion's League after both legs. What makes you think the no sharp strikers can pull out another surprise in the second Leg?

I will wait till the final whistle to be sure AC Milan are out or not.

Amount of coins available is insane. Plus for the dex section, can you give metamask option even if user agent is mobile, because with extension supported browsers on android it's possible to use metamask on mobile.
Really?

Which mobile browser supports the metamask extension/add-on? I always knew the whole point of the metamask mobile app is because there is no support for mobile browsers. One can still connect the exchange to the metamask mobile app via walletconnect.
909  Other / Meta / Re: Imgur images suddenly became invalid? on: May 11, 2023, 06:21:26 PM
The problem is probably from imgur. Their site now automatically redirects from the old domain imgur.com to imgur.io

Not sure why the did this but yes indeed the images with the imgur.com link are not showing in the forum.
910  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Electrum wallet software. Why you should use it, not exchange accounts on: May 11, 2023, 01:59:24 PM
Options for Change address, Multiple change address, RBF, Batch RBF transactions, Spend only confirmed coins, Advance Preview were Turn off.
Most of the options are still there once you click pay. They just moved them away from under preferences. What I see just missing is the RBF part. There is also a preview option

I can see this changes in version 4.4.1 as well, So I don't think it started with the latest update.

hi OP, do you and the team have plans to create an affiliate program?
It was suggested by some member back then in 2018 but they didn't give attention to the suggestion. Perhaps, it's something of less priority to them right now.

Suggestions:
....
- Bonus/referral programs: (don't know if this already set in your marketing strategy) Adding those kind of programs would help the world know about you in short time than expected; The bonus can be set in form of more lower fees for regular users or donators or those mixing big amounts. A referral program would need the implementation of more complicated tools (profiles,logins,IDs...) ;don't know how you can handle with it for now.
....
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost half on my founds, can you help me please? on: May 10, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
The transaction got confirmed over 1 day ago (180 confirmations as of now) so there is nothing else that can be done except maybe you learn a lesson about the Bitcoin transaction fees and the mempool.

Half of the Bitcoins you tried to spend ended up as a miner fee because of the high transaction fee rate you or your wallet set, and the mempool is kind of messed/clogged up at the moment.

The addresses are usually generated in a certain type of order (derivation path) whenever you create a new account using the same wallet you created or recovered using the same recovery phrase

There is a likelihood that you just imported the private keys of the other 2 addresses. That's why you can see them in the new account

Use the iancoleman.io tool to prove this. Make sure you use the offline version

For example

For this seed phrase "jeans tackle now silly tiny whisper impact cradle figure culture deliver vanish"

The accounts would be generated in this order

Code:
   Path                                         Address

m/44'/60'/0'/0/0 0x66502f735FD79f779817Ae3F79A6ead18a4Caa3f
m/44'/60'/0'/0/1 0x95CA0FC84c43a2a16FDB13AcCcf8E79FAe1967Dd
m/44'/60'/0'/0/2 0xBaE4d6deA83fB503f86eAC01253B3ADEF251AB74
m/44'/60'/0'/0/3 0x5582B7F118d0485dF65F255dD2E058B74BC13463
and so on...

916  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do I keep crypto after buying it? on: May 09, 2023, 09:50:58 PM
I have been using Binance since 2019 and it's working as good as a CEX.
Wrong assumption

In crypto space, exchanges come and go. You don't want to assume an exchange is going to last forever only for them to shut down business with your funds in there. It doesn't matter how Big the exchange is

Even the biggest banks that have heavy backing of Governments and rich companies are collapsing and filing for bankruptcies, then what about just a mere crypto exchange?

You can buy bitcoins from a centralized exchange like Binance or a decentralized exchange like Bisq.com (protects your privacy),
Has bisq.com ever been a domain affiliated with Bisq Network or the exchange? I believe not. In fact, the domain you suggested is up for sale.
Be very careful when recommending web addresses to members. You might end up suggesting to them a phishing link unknowingly

The right link for Bisq is https://bisq.network/
919  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Rip localbitcoins.com on: May 07, 2023, 01:09:26 PM
My guy probably still using internet explorer, This tragedy happened months ago but yes it was sad and very unfortunate of it happening and I highly doubt if some similar site like this one will ever exist again.
It's unfortunate that you seem not to know about any other alternative services that are actually far better than localbitcoins has been in the recent times because of their ridiculous KYC policy.

Have you had a bisq.network, HodlHodl, Agoradesk, Localmonero and many more?

920  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Coinbase Wallet (Android) Authentication Failed on: May 07, 2023, 12:41:45 PM
most probably in the App Data of Coinbase Wallet (org.toshi) or secure enclave of the phone.
Accessing that file and perhaps extracting it is going to be hard or close to impossible. You might need root access, which is possible by rooting the device. Problem with rooting is it can wipe off the very data you need or brick the phone

Also, I must warn you about Huawei Android back up using their Hi suite. I don't think it does the job well. I lost a lot of data sometime back when I backed up using the app and factory rest my phone. On trying to restore my data, most of my important files were missing.
