MIMs has jumped almost 50 coins in top rank to be added to Mintpal.com since last Sunday. This is based on actual votes, not paid-for votes. The below link confirms this. In addition, I want to reassure everyone that this is not a scam coin, which clearly, there have been many opportunities to do so. As a coin that is accepted in the FRK Collective, along with TEK and a few others, we are more focused on building/developing legitimate projects to benefit the cryptocurrency industry; instead of destroying the reputation and faith to newcomers/current cryptocurrency participants. The problem is quite obvious. You've created a coin which won't be profitable until the yearly influx of 10,000,000,000 coins is worth less than the influx of new money being invested into it.
That's pretty simple math.
Someone mentioned that in a certain amount of time, the amount of new coins being introduced won't matter.
This is true. If the coin supply is 250 billion, whats an additional 10 billion per year (still a lot of depreciation though!).
The problem is it will take 24 years to get to that point.
Who the fuck is going to invest in this to wait 5, 10, 15 years to see a decent return on their money?
In the cryptocurrency community 3 months is equal to 3 years. So i'd hate to have to wait 1 year (let alone 5) to see something happen. It's too bad because this had a really good name and could have been built into something good and lasting. We are here to get away from inflation. If we want to stick to a consantly depreciating currency we can use fiat money thanks.
People are here to get rich quick.
This coin presents anything but that scenario.

Still no magic, no activity from dev, no stable price. Everything whitnesses coins going to the bottom... I invested in it some days ago, hoping it will get to the eyes of folks. dont use quote on the timeout 10. if it is closing right away that means something is wrong with your batch format. maybe just create a new batch in case yours is corrupt?

I think scrypt asics will also work for vertcoin and this coin.

IMHO it look like logo for infants. I thought after first look it is some seal.
This version?  lol, i guess it's all about perspective. I just thought karma could use a more playful appearance since the idea behind the coin is to do good. I didn't think the current logo conveyed that idea, and a generic letter 'K' would probably have felt too corporate and overdone at this point. I actually really like this one, despite the fact that it is a bit too cartoony and feminine (no offense, girls). That and colors should be easily fixable. I like it because it looks really nice, has few enought details to be recognisable in small icon (many other suggestions fails in this case), I like how it breaks out boring circle a bit too. It could be tweaked to be a really nice logo. +1 This logo is awesome. logo is so gud! |

The fair value for this coin is at least 6000 Satoshi. Queing up a little now and buy more above 3000.

Why do people mine a coin with 1 billion premined coin on 14 billion planned mined coin for first year? They even have the most badass dollar/wallet on the market (which I donated because I felt they had given me so much) which will soon be a hosted paper wallet generator. Their reddit presence is growing rapidly (there is even a gone magic with a badass chick!). They are thinking about the long game here which is why some people involved in the coin are meeting with Senators and going to the crypto conferences. They are spreading the idea and watching it grow into an economy. Also longevity is much needed in this community of pump and dump coins. They have made a coin that gives miners incentive to keep the network alive that a ton of people hold. It might be hard to believe... but they are making it rain all day everyday with that money. We would love to have you in the community @ freenode #mimcoin so that we can tip the crap out of you just like we have for everyone else that has taken the incentive to post on reddit or join our IRC. I've found miners are more receptive towards a coin if you pre release the wallet as a passworded zip. Just a thought.
