901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia officially allows Bitcoin on: September 03, 2016, 12:31:15 PM
I knew that in spite of the questionable relation between Russian and the USA, many powerful Russian organizations were keeping much of their money in USD and it was what they used for daily transactions, especially at international transactions. Now, they appreciate a decentralized, alternative currency too, which will be advantageous for us, Bitcoin holders and a smart gesture from Russian politicians.
902  Economy / Services / Re: Find me this font - 0.005 BTC reward on: September 03, 2016, 10:13:55 AM
What do you think of the 'S' letter of  'biffes-calligraphy' font?

I will return the result of a deeper research when I can free some time a bit later and you still need better fonts.

Besides biffes-calligraphy, these are the ones that I found similar to the attached picture's 'S'...

Or Kelp Ban?

903  Economy / Services / Re: Hire me! I am a Designer/Illustrator/Photo and Video Editor! on: September 03, 2016, 08:49:52 AM
Angelo is a nice person to communicate with and has fantastic skills that seems from his huge portfolio too. I had some business discussion with OP in the past and we are still in touch with each other. I could definitely advise you to ask him if you need some GFX job done.
904  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [wts] TheOccult.bz ( Voodoo , Spels , Black Magic and many more ) Read inside on: September 03, 2016, 08:45:44 AM
Give me sight please if I am blind, but I did not find your answer to the question whether you are selling the whole website or what.

Also whom do you consider to be a 'trusted' member?
905  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Cheap Torrent invites/sitedev.club/ on: September 03, 2016, 08:13:22 AM
Personally, I do not need any more invitation to those sites, but I still often hear my friends who look for invitations to one or more of them. If I hear them next time, I will buy an invitation from you to them. However, I will not be sure when it happens so I have to ask, how long are you willing to keep selling these invitations?
906  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 02, 2016, 09:15:08 AM
I consider the type of porn that I am interested in to be my special personal information. Fiat transactions would make this special personal information linked to my real identity, which I can resolve if I pay with BTC where I can seperate my sexual interest than my other personal information.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to mint Bitcoin ? on: September 02, 2016, 09:13:59 AM
It is possible but I think that it never will be used for purchases because transactions with physical bitcoins would not have the advantages that virtual transactions have like global accessibility, faceless deals between people from different sides of the world under minutes and so on.
908  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [free] Bitspyder invites on: September 02, 2016, 09:05:38 AM
I would like an invite to Bitspyder (; Well, this answer in itself is a post under your thread and certainly I will leave my honest review if you choose to send one to me.
909  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: need 10$ paypal will pay $15 btc trusted members on: September 02, 2016, 08:59:36 AM
How will you handle the personal information that you receive with PP transaction? Also the BTC address that I would use could be linked to my personal information via PP after this exchange so to anyone who is interested in this offer I advise to use a newly generated, non-vanity address and remember not to use that for any other transaction. Nevertheless, good luck with the exchange! I also will to do it if you answer my first question and choose my person to deal with.
910  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: September 02, 2016, 08:51:07 AM
Well, BTC is money  Wink But I understand that probably you were thinking of fiat currencies.

No, I do not think BTC or any altcoin will REPLACE fiat anytime soon as cryptocurrency is alot different than fiat so people will need proper education and a huge amount of adaptors to consider BTC at least as much important as fiat and even that time BTC would not replace fiat, just grow next to it in popularity.
911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: September 02, 2016, 08:47:32 AM
Also that depends on the amount of BTC that you can afford to invest into altcoins. As a general idea, it is advised to split your investment among more than one altcoins, but if the invested amount is high enough, either of them could bring you back 1000 BTC.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Danger when buying/selling BTC in person on: September 02, 2016, 08:44:34 AM
I think, in person it is easier to spot the warning signs from non-verbal gestures so the other person has very hard job if he wants to scam you. That is the most you can do, to make malicious attempts very hard to carry out successfully, because every form of buying/selling has dangers.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Avast quarantined Bitcoin-QT.exe 0.13.0 binary on: September 01, 2016, 09:26:39 AM
For me that detection seems to be false positive. I too have experienced similar some months ago and I handled it as false positive. I did not experience any suspicious activity within my system that could be connected to that so I think I was right. I, however, disagree with the advice that you should not use Windows. Windows could be very secure if you know what you are doing and Linux could be easily vulnerable too if you do not. As a general advice I suggest separating the system that you daily use from the one where you store your wallet and choose a system for your wallet that you are comfortable with and aware of how to build a powerful security with it.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoind directory on: September 01, 2016, 09:14:23 AM
Here is a solution that you can execute in a GUI.
This method has been tested and it should work well, but I included a step to backup your current data folder for safety

1) Shut down your running Bitcoin Core
2) Open file browser
( 2.2 - Enable visibility for hidden folders: View -> Show Hidden Files )
3) Search the .bitcoin hidden folder ( it should be in Home by default )
4) Backup save: rename the .bitcoin folder to something else like savedbc
5) Copy the folder ( savedbc in this example ) to the desired location
6) Rename the copied folder in the desired location to 'Bitcoin'
7) Start your Bitcoin Core and at the window that shows up select to use CUSTOM data directory
8_) Select the new location for the custom data directory

Enjoy your new location!
915  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Our mission is nearly complete. Awaiting review. on: September 01, 2016, 08:35:01 AM
I look forward to seeing the phoenix one because as a symbol I love phoenix and I have not seen any other collectible that would have had any kind of phoenix as its logo :3 It is an interesting project, but I will want to see more pictures before thinking about order.

Also I have additional questions like what sizes will I be able to choose from?

ho .. really ?

here you are:

http://www.numiscollect.eu/index.php?task=product&p_id=15080&prev_id=&c_id=650

 Wink

Thank you defcon32 (;

Really, I did not met with any of them before. Maybe I did not met them because I have not searched either. I imagined how nice a collectible would look with a phoenix only after OP mentioned that they would have a phoenix version. I still could appreciate an unique phoenix realization that make this coin not only nice, but unique too.

OP, if you need help in GFX design, not only phoenix but a new bull for example, you can PM me! I could send you a portfolio and you could decide how helpful an additional helping hand could be.
916  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Serpcoin v0.1 #4 /48 (Very RARE!) on: August 31, 2016, 03:06:46 PM
I find the coin's design kinda post-apocalyptic and I like it. It is like a very rare coin found surviving in a war-damaged world.

That jump from 0.27 to 0.5, though...

I understand why this auction needed a bump (:

But still, in the thread I can read that you are willing to add 24 hours to the auction deadline if a new member join. I wonder whether one would join in the following 24 hours. I wish good luck to whoever wins this!

Just a slight correction, it's 0.01BTC,  not 0.1BTC.

Yeah, it is 10 mBTC according to the serpcoin site.

918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Track an address? on: August 31, 2016, 02:16:28 PM
The first thing that you could consider is whether the address that you want to track is a vanity address. Vanity addresses often contain some string that is somehow related to the user, which could come helpful in looking up what wallets and pools the user is participated in.

At all BTC addresses, as @unholycactus wrote above, all BTC transaction are publicly visible on the blockchain so it is possible to do some research with them and base a guess on the results of the research. Actually, you do not have to do this research yourself because there are services that are doing it already. You can continue with the checking results part. WalletExplorer may help you.

Blocktrail is service that provides information about an address from mentions on the web. It could come useful in addition.
919  Economy / Lending / Re: Can a NEWBIE lend? on: August 31, 2016, 09:01:19 AM
Before finding an appropriate collateral, I want to know how much you are asking from us exactly. I want to know the amount because collateral should be compared to that parameter. If I knew what amount you would have liked to receive from us, I could suggest some possibilities.
920  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.0055 btc on: August 31, 2016, 08:47:42 AM
Actually, I am tempted to give you a loan of 0.0055 BTC for one week because I can afford to invest that amount and I have the patience to wait one week to figure out the truth and also my experience could be educational to others,  but I do not want to rush into a deal that I do not understand. Could you please write your view on what @mammabitcoin2u wrote first? Also sharing your reasons and purposes with this loan would be advantageous for you to find loaners, maybe me.
