901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: December 29, 2018, 11:04:09 PM
IMO we all knew this would happen. Therefore I do not see price decrease as loss of confidence. Well, the price is around 4k and it is better than 0.
We should build our small economy where the price drop of BTC will not affect our earnings. And let's not think of it as regret, just an experience.
902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Fate of ICOs. on: December 28, 2018, 07:26:08 PM
I have seen a few ICOs stopped selling until the market recovers and it looks better solution for now. Even there are those who have reached the hardcap are traded 50 times cheaper than the ICO price and bounty is still not distributed. If you work for the future of the project not for money it is better to wait.
903  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC is equal to 10347 dollars on: December 28, 2018, 02:24:41 PM
IMO Bitcoin's value should be calculated according to its mining value. So while any crop is evaluated, it is calculated with the required amount of mortars to be converted from raw to ready goods. So IMO the price of BTC should be calculated in this way.
904  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining cryptos by harvesting body heat on: December 27, 2018, 07:24:05 PM
...
Since each human is generating 0.6 watthours of energy with the IoHO, it would take nearly 4,600 people lying still, 24/7 for a year using the IoHO device to produce 1.2 bitcoins. At current Bitcoin prices, each person would receive about $3 for their year-long endeavor.
...
If you wanted to speed things up and mine 1 bitcoin per month, you’re going to need about 320 people lying still around the clock with a perfectly efficient system. To do 1 bitcoin per month with IoHO’s tech—which in terms of efficiency is on par with most affordable wearable thermoelectric generators available today—you’d need around 44,000 people providing their body energy 24/7."

I have read about it yesterday so it is just for attracting attention and IMO unnecessary. Because it is unreasonable to use mankind who have all kind of skills. It is like the abuse of the human body for bitcoin mining.
905  Economy / Economics / Re: The market is looking healthy and greener all over again on: December 23, 2018, 09:20:29 PM
Right now, the capitalization of cryptocurrency market is currently rising. It seems that this is now the end of bear market because there are many signs that the bull market will occur.
I also believe 2019 will be positive for whole crypto world but this is just belief. I can not tell you what the signs are for you but I can not see any sign around for price increase. As far as I know the SEC has decided to extend the deadline which cannot be extended.
906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we do 15 - 30$+ per day by trading successfully in these market conditions? on: December 23, 2018, 08:57:02 PM
This was achievable back in the bull run (buy low, sell high) and with the help of bounty campaigns here on the forum.
Right now, with either shorting or going long, it is kind of a gamble (either goes up, or goes down), so choose one direction and place your bet. At least it seemed so, without professional experience of technical analysis, or without big capital in order not to care about attachments...

So if one wants to achieve his target at least, can he do it?
How?
What were your successfully trades like?
How to do it consistently...
Firstly it depends on your investment. So the more you invest the more you can win and also less risk. If you want to earn with crypto trading, it is hard to notify an idea of the future. Crypto trade is inextricable situation nowadays. Maybe you should be interested in other investment sectors.
907  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I regret that i entered trading too late on: December 23, 2018, 08:25:44 PM
Actually, it's not yet late to enter trading. Today is the best time to enter in, especially that the market is in dip. And even if you entered in during the last bullrun season, it still isn't late because there's still a lot in store for bitcoin. I believe it hasn't reached its full potential yet. Looking at the history of bitcoin, it spikes then dumps then reaches another height, even higher than its last record. I have high hopes for it, especially now that little by little it's slowly being realized and adopted. So don't worry. The best is yet to come; just prepare by getting more bitcoin as much as you can.
Are you sure? what makes you so sure about the future of bitcoin? while on the other hand there are many elements want to tackle the growth of bitcoin, is Bitcoin able to overcome this crisis?
Nobody has any idea how the future price will be. You can not find any favorable reason behind any decision to be taken at the moment. Even when BTC's price was 0.01USD, there was great risk and those who took risk, made 400,000 times more money, even in current price. So there are risks according to earnings.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Final pump before full capitulation? on: December 22, 2018, 11:23:49 PM
I believe that this is a final pump before we touch $2,000 levels. Bitmain is buying a bunch of BCH in order to successfully file for IPO, due to their existing poor earnings report. Some kind of manipulation is occurring right now, and I believe it will not sustain.
Everyone thinks the price will go down. WHY? Did not it fall from 6.5k to 3k for no reason? The existence of such psychologies causes the price not to increase. Psychology itself begins to create the largest red candle on the graph.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves knock out Ethereum on: December 22, 2018, 10:55:52 PM
At the bearish market, the waves steadily hold their position, and when price of Bitcoin is falling , the price of Waves is rising! The functionality of the Waves is much higher than Eth. Usability is better, fast transactions, own stock exchange, powerful mobile applications for Android and iOS. And there will be a lot of interesting features. This is the time to buy waves.

So, can the Waves take the place of the Ethereum? Yes, and it will happen soon  Smiley

I would like to know the opinion of the forum! Thanks
In my opinion last increase of WAVE is related to luck. Because new version of mobile wallet could not influence the price so much. And unlike you I think that the increase of Bitcoin helped him in this situation. So if you look attentionly you can see the news came with the BTC increase at the same time in 18 December.
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't love any Alt coins. on: December 22, 2018, 10:04:20 PM
Everyone in this fall has lost money like you. So Bitcoin's decrease has affected all the digital coins and if you did not diversify portfolio correctly and
invested all money in crypto, 4x looks better. Most of the token/coins are traded under the ICO price and IMO the only way out is to try yourself in other
investment sectors until market recover.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's prepare for the worst on: December 22, 2018, 08:23:35 PM
Let's all be prepared ,the way I'm seeing things I think bitcoin hasn't find its bottom yet ,I'm guessing around 2500$ before we see better recovery ,always remember cryptocurrency is never for the weak ,be prepared and do what you do best ,things will surely turn around but good things never comes easily .
We will be able to see the bottom price when the time comes. We do not know why and how the changes in the market have happened recently.
Anyway if we do our analysis with our feelings IMO 3k is the last point in this fall.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: December 21, 2018, 10:01:24 PM
After careful research, when you see a good ICO, you would know and there will be no doubt about it.
I have noticed that good ICOs also dump after listing, competing with crap ones that have no definite direction, but to cart away funds.
There are ways in which they can be protected and prevent unreasonable dump in price. Some of which are:

1. They should be managed by credible and trusted managers, managers that already have good reputation on the forum, else the trust might not be there.

2. KYC should be made mandatory for all bounty and airdrop participants in order to avoid multiple accounts. The kyc should be announced

3. Participants should be made to complete the remaining process of their registrations on the project's website, where IP can be detected. Multiple accounts can also be prevented this way.

4. Listing should be done on reliable and reputable exchange sites.

5. There should be regular and prompt communication with the community.

6. Projects should maintain and comply to their roadmaps and if there is amendment, the community should be made to know, with concrete reasons.

These are just few among so many other solutions, but if this few are integrated into the system, i believe dump can be minimized if not totally eliminated.

If we are talking about the current situation it would be much more appropriate for the ICOs to be frozen and to continue when the price is recovered. Because in the present situation it is difficult to reach the soft cap and keep the price of the token after it is listed. And about bounty, developers are now trying to go against to bounty dump with late distribution but the price without bounty falls a lot.
913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reversal of Bear Market? on: December 21, 2018, 09:06:31 PM
1000$ in few days ? Im impressed

Its showing early signs of a reversal if we can push it back upto 5K

Any thoughts ?

I Still feel we got some room to grow up
IMO reaching 10k is not easy in a few days. Because this price increase is not based on anything and we cannot predict how long it will survive. For now if we break 4.1k we can see a little more upward movement. I do not know maybe we are losing more time every day by waiting.  Huh
914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2019 on: December 21, 2018, 08:46:18 PM
Hey Guys:

Where do you see Bitcoin Value by end of 2019?

Is it good idea to buy Bitcoin in 2018?

Look forward to your thoughts.

Many thanks

Steve
IMO Bitcoin will be more promising for next year. Coming news from BAKKT can cause the price to bloom. I have heard about NASDAQ will implement Bitcoin in mid 2019. Besides the SEC's decision seems to be an effective weapon to influence the price but unlike others price can also move in the opposite direction.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin without internet on: December 19, 2018, 09:29:30 PM
Blockstream Satellite Now Means Most Of The World Can Use Bitcoin Without Internet. What's your opinion on this one? Do you see it as progress or not? Huh
As I understand it those who want to work with this satellite system should install a satellite receiver in their homes. We do not know how safe it is and we also have no idea how much this will cost. I am not old-minded I would like to try but why should we change the internet (which we know what it is) to the Blockstream Satellite?
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: REASON FOR MARKET RECOVERY on: December 19, 2018, 09:07:36 PM
Now, I know many analysis will soon be out trying to credit the sudden market recovering to some sort of events and programs. In my own opinion, I feel any of these reasons could be the case of the capitalization in the market leading to some gain:
1. It's possible some whales or even the wall street are trying to manipulate the market by attracting the  innocent traders;
2. It's possible the enemies of Crypto are tired of the underserved bear;
3. Maybe there is a major event in which some of us are not yet privy to, only time will tell.
4. This can't just be normal traders doing their normal trading as the pumping in of fund is massively massive.

I don't believe the bull run has started, although no one can possibly tell when the bull run starts. Let me hear what you think is the reason for this sudden market recovery. Thanks
Without knowing what the price movement is based on we cannot know how far it will go. As we know it is easier for the price to move in crypto trade which can be without any reason. Probably the price has changed because of most people have the same idea without any news and the demand will determine what will be. Maybe the scenario of last year will be repeated.  Undecided
917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL IS THE BEST OPTION FOR ME NOW on: December 15, 2018, 12:39:01 PM
HODL is the best option now for all my altcoins. I will keep Hodling till the bearish market is over. Everyone was thinking that bull run will start toward the end of the year, instead, there is a consistent reduction in price. Let keep hodling next year will get better for everyone.
I want to know what you feel, is there still hope for the remaining 18 days before the year end?
If we pay attention that this is cryptocurrency, the price can recover even in 18 days. But I can not see any evidence for this. So even who has a positive opinion thinks that the price recovery will be after 2 years. If this goes on I do not think price will recover until the end of the year. Also contrary to what you said the New Year may be the reason for the price decrease.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price predictions from Twitter 5 years from now on: December 15, 2018, 12:14:41 PM
If history repeats perfectly, then the current bear market for #Bitcoin would bottom out at $2,500 next month, in Jan 2019.
And then the next rally would start in late 2020, peak out in Dec 2021 at $333,000, and then crash back down to $41,000 in Jan 2023.
Something like that?🙂
It is just a possibility and I do not believe the price will move as he says. While tomorrow's price is unknown, a chance is required for the accuracy of the 5 year price prediction. Perhaps there will be greater developments in the future but for now I only give superiority the decisions that will be made in January and February.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto debit card for FIAT payments - would you use one? on: December 14, 2018, 10:37:01 PM
Hello,
I'm here to explore the demand for crypto debit card.

The basics behind it is actually very simple:
1. You own some crypto funds on your account on an exchange (crypto/FIAT markets) that has partnered with a debit card provider. You'd have to identify yourself (pass KYC).
2. You get the card. It is a basic mastercard  debit card for FIAT payments. No magic.
3. When you use it, it automatically exchanges your crypto to FIAT based on the amount you're spending. You would even be able prioritize the order in which your crypto is to be exchanged the first, the second, etc.

So, would you use one?
If yes, would such service motivate you enough to open an account on the exchange that is not (yet) one of the TOP ones?

Disclaimer: I'm a business owner in a position to offer such service. Knowing your opinion would help me a lot. So, thanks in advance!
We know that there is no positive side about identity. In cryptocurrency world there is no need for such a thing. But such things cause interest in humans because this is the technology of today. It is not possible to use BTC to shop at the store today and the presence of cards is better than time consuming exchanges.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the Value of bitcoin depend on economic dynamics? on: December 14, 2018, 09:55:32 PM
There may be relevance but not directly. So when the economy is in a better status, it leads to an increase in money accumulation and a portion of these accumulations may be divided to Bitcoin.
But there is a huge difference between paper money and Bitcoin. Not managing of Bitcoin causes the change in price to be different than the others. Just demand and supply can influence price.
