This is getting pretty tiring.

I've never read so much playground bickering with so much one sided out of context rhetoric.

But the irony is hilarious.

The gall of Mark to promote the increase of a share price, when he and ByronP have decided said price, is outrageous.
904  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 1Broker.com - Trade forex, indices, stocks and commodities on: October 08, 2015, 08:40:15 AM
9-12months ago, you guys have about 1,400ish Traders, now that we have over 5,000 Traders i want to see Lower Spread for Forex, and Higher Limits with Margin, Please.

we are approaching Fast Towards over 6,000 Traders soon.

lets see some Cap increase.

Is the website mostly earning from trades that went wrong or is there another big income stream?

I only wonder if the spread is enough to earn and traders trading well and bad are averaging out so good then it sounds a bit like gambling. Of course it's the same with fees on other exchanges.

But i only was wondering if that is the main income stream for the site.

Profitable FX trading can be a challenge for some, so yes they do make money off trader's losing trades. But that's the same for any FX broker.

And yes they start with the basic fee via spread, the same as with other FX brokers as well.
A common business model for spread [betting] companies, is to take the opposite position to the trader/customer. If we accept that traditionally 80-90% of trading accounts are #rekt, this makes perfect profitable sense, over time.
I dont know what 1brokers business model is. Just saying.
905  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.chopcoin.io - The new interactive Bitcoin game! on: October 07, 2015, 05:28:34 PM
Will there be a tournament this weekend?

A fun tournament mode would be one where mass size increases as normal, but you are only awarded points for eliminating other players completely - thus forcing people to take more chances and perhaps get eaten themselves. Not sure if that will be the outcome, but it could provide some interesting gameplay.

Also, it could be fun with a game mode where all players start out with a larger size, just to speed things up a bit in the start.

Talking about tournaments, It would be an interesting idea one tournament where players wager some coins (in order to fill the pot) and an option to allow visitors/audience to watch the game and to bet (back and lay) players' performance.

That's a suggestion, maybe it's viable. dunno...
Thats a great idea. Interesting angle.  Cool

I watched the whole of the last tournament. Betting and/or backing a given outcome certainly adds the interest for the spectator.

Think about this: you put $1000 into BanxPlatinum, and over a year you get paid out $2450 in dividends. How the hell is that possible ?
Really, I'd love to know.

Well... I think it is time for me to eat my hat and admit my assumptions were 100% wrong all the way.
The last few days almost made me an heart-attack, I really did not see this coming...

I am more then amazed about how things turned out, honestly this app looks even better then the original plan of noxt.
As an investor in noxt, I just couldn't be happier right now.

As I know no one can control the market and guarantee any profit or return, the only guarantee I thought I had when I invested in noxt is you are going to work hard to make it a success - you defiantly proofed you did and still working.

Don' get me wrong, The communication level was bad - but it is just doesn't matter when things are moving + I think communication when things are running will be much friendlier and easier for you.

TL;DR: I made my assumptions based on the information I had and based on my own opinion/mind, It turned out I was 100% wrong Smiley

Good job jason.

It always pays to sit on the fence (neutral) when making opinions. The lack of information/knowledge makes a fool out of anyone.
It could also be argued that its intentional to make people fools, by withholding information/knowledge.

I think pikuchato's TL;DR point about 'based on the information' is spot on. The lack of information/knowledge/communication creates an unhelpful vacuum, where only assumptions can be made. Odd responses certainly dont help, also. At some point a call has to be made, one way or another, to move things forward, for the sake of closure/write-off, sometimes.

Turns out Rofo has a style all of his own, which we are going to need to get used to, cos he sure is his own man. What he produced by secretly beavering away proved that much, at least, and showed what is possible going forward.
Im not ready to eat my hat just yet, but the consensus is that Rofo produced some good stuff here, so well done Rofo. Lets try to create a momentum.  Smiley

Apart from the usual social media circles, where else would you promote/market NXT?

1) Well for start in cryptocurrency conferences, that would be the nr. 1 priority, to have an increases Public Opinion ( a PR team is definitely needed).
A few banners setup in all cryptocurrency conferences, would cost a few hundred 100$ but so what, it would have a big return on investment, once people would start investing in NXT.

2) Then we would need more NXT conferences, that are just for NXT or hosted by NXT members and talking about Bitcoin 2.0 projects

3) Then double down on social media, you need to assemble a marketing team too, to specially promote it on all social media sites in an organized way (bounty, giveaways, organize tournaments [ perhaps hook up with some gamers to organize gaming tournaments like many other coins do] , events, etc.)

4) Then improve the SEO of the NXT website and make sure it pops up on first google page if somebody writes in "cryptocurrency"

etc.

These are just a few of my ideas, but should be fairly easy to do, with little or no costs, just a bit of organization and professionalism Cheesy

Sounds good to me RB  Cool

A NXT focused conference will happen. Its just a matter of time, and getting the location right of course.

Heres a nice idea, just been posted on the NXTforum

Great banner for NXT on the conference. Smiley

Yea, maybe guys should put an NXT banner on all crypto conferences. How about that? It would promote it.

I find it disgusting that NXT is on the 12th place amongst cryptocurrencies, yet it has no marketing team whatsoever.

NXT guys , create a marketing team and promote the shit out of NXT, don't be lazy  Grin

[0:28:34] C-CEX.com: Well, banx guy started his "project" with ICO on c-cex. But he started to push us not to allow sells below certain price. I responded that it is against free market idea and refused to do that
[0:29:37] C-CEX.com: after that he wanted to fake marketcaps and pushed me to fake real price of banx - I refused. Then he requested to remove banx from c-cex. Which happened a bit later in the natural way we have it for our customres (we gave 2 weeks for withdrawals)
[0:29:57] C-CEX.com: I do not recommend to do any business with that guy

Fake fake fake. Right from the start. So then Mark/Byron/Simon then move on to deploying their buy-bot, on the order book for months. It was creating FAKE volume.

As i said nearly a year ago......wake up people, and start asking the right questions.
Here is the next question "you lot" need to start asking very quickly....
'@Mark/Simon/Byron. Can we see your holdings of Banx before Banx ports over to the open platform?'
If "you lot" dont nail Marks bollocks to the mast with this question, may god have mercy on your deluded souls, within the first 5 mins of open trading.

Why would they spend money getting their accountant to prematurely provide a breakdown when he will have to the do a full set of accounts when they're actually due.

Doesn't seem like the best use of investors money does it.....

Oh, but wait it will keep the trolls happy, said nobody ever....
So that 'investors' can put a realistic value, on said company?? I mean, its been 12 months in the making and where is the revenue, after all that time? Creating crypto/lotto coins really doesn't count as revenue.

This strategy of offering cosy one-to-ones to "private investors"..... do "you lot" honestly think its working out? You honestly think Marks online persona, is what "private investors" want to see before they part with their money? C'mon. You all know full well, any interested party who is looking for a home for their money, will be asking the same question/s here........where are the REVENUE streams for the last 12 months, and what are the projections going forward.
No bloody wonder this farce of an IPO/ICO just drags on and on. Those "private investors" are walking away (if they even bother to enquire in the first place) cos Mark cannot supply the very basics of a viable business....how it spends its money, and how it makes its money. Simple.

Anyway, when is this scheduled to port over to Bitshares? Will it be shortable?

....... provide me with a copy of ANY publicly filed accounts for ANY of the various Banx related companies,

HAHA. What like REVENUE? Like a real company, with real people? HAHA You got me there for a moment, you naughty man!

Now, where the bloody hell did i put those lucky hens teeth??

When you search 'members' here, for bitmarket.io, there are three other very similar entries for that name.

Just sent bitmarket.io a message and link, via here.
