The Bitcoin transfer, was it done by your authorization or not?

is it exit scam Huh
Too hard to conclude at the moment, but why do you use exchanges that have poor support. Try using better exchanges next time.

922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 06, 2023, 09:56:04 PM
Chelsea need a world-class target striker who can lead the team. Lautaro Martinez is a hardworking striker, but I don't think he can be the leading player of Chelsea as a target striker. Also, there are those who compare Lautaro Martinez to Gonzalo Higuain in terms of talent (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0HLGuQ71bs). Smiley Sometimes he is ineffective in some net positions in the penalty area. I don't think he would be the right name for Chelsea. I hope they use the transfer season efficiently. I think they made some bad decisions last year.
With the recruitment of average coaching staff, he will just be nothing other than just another flop as well. I think Chelsea's problem stretches deeper than just the need for a top class striker because they have had top class strikers in Aubameyang or Lukaku and yet the failed to completely deliver according to Chelsea's expectations.
923  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can someone remove DireWolfM14 from this Marketplace? on: May 06, 2023, 09:27:21 PM
When scammers start trolling and making such necessary threads, then it means the person being targeted is actually doing a very good job exposing their scam network.
I believe one of the reason making OP lose his mind and sleep is this thread made by DireWolfM14 a few days back Restrict newbies from posting in the lending board?

925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: High Fee on: May 06, 2023, 02:26:41 PM
I use the bitcoin-wallet-app
Not familiar with Bitcoin wallet app but electrum is pretty good because it has support to create Replace By Fee enabled transactions. So, that next time your transactions are stuck, you can bump up the fee rate to a higher transaction fee rate.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negative influence of bitcoin on: May 05, 2023, 02:21:27 PM
1. Bitcoin is not easily understood by people with no knowledge of it, at such scam and fraud is high on them.
Really? Maybe people like you just choose to be ignorant about what's going on
How can you compare this;

Bitcoin

to this

When you withdraw your funds from a bank and then lose them, do you get a refund?

3. Privacy- bad people trying to give bitcoin bad name by faking bitcoin apps and site.
Privacy is good. Just like you are not letting us know your real name, where you live, what you do and where you are right now via this forum.

4. Cyber hacking - cyber wizards an fraudsters makes people to loss bitcoin wallets and money.
The same happens to fiat, even worse, corrupt politicians, robbers, cyber hackers, etc. Stop making it look like it happens only to bitcoin

927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wallet software on: May 05, 2023, 01:45:09 PM
Bitcoin blockchain is a public digital ledger

You can also trace Bitcoin transactions using blockchain explorers without breaking a sweat and minus using ciphertrace.
But how is this about wallet software?
928  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AntiDolos extortion/scam on: May 04, 2023, 09:55:36 PM
I see that he did something similar in the past with the Ideaology project in this thread: Is Ideaology.io scam or a great opportunity? [archive]

First, he published a very negative review claiming that the project was too risky and worthless, with an amateur and inexperienced team.

However, after just under a month, he completely changed his story and deleted (or denied) almost all of his claims from the original review, ultimately giving the project a high 8.5/10 rating. Now, I don't know if the owners of the Ideaology project paid for a positive review, and that will be hard to prove unless they publicly admit it themselves, but realistically, what could cause such a drastic change of opinion in such a short time? If you're going to write reviews, at least try to be objective and free of personal biases so you don't have to contradict your own words.

Ideaology (IDEA) IEO, Risky but Profitable! (Updated Dec 22, 2020)

And, according to the date stated, that update was made only a week after Amar Kovacevic from Ideaology publicly accused them of abuse and blackmail.

That's it for me

So he was playing a tricky game. Reporting projects as scam and then extorting them funds in exchange for a better review while at the same time trying to falsely gain reputation from the forum as someone trying to legitimately expose scam

I will leave my tag as well.

Bitcoin transaction fees, even post-Ordinals, are nowhere near as stupefying as various types of ETH gas fees, which in turn give me ATM fee vibes.
Provided these "NFTs" or whatever they are called continue to hype up until the next bull market. I am visualizing how things might look when Bitcoin smashes past $100K  Grin
930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much time it takes for single block confirmation? on: May 04, 2023, 02:32:30 PM
If the market is flooded it will take some time and usually when there's a pump in the market it's expected to be longer though 1 - 10 minutes would be enough depending on how much fee you put.
He is talking about single block confirmation, so the state of the mempool doesn't matter

Block confirmation time is pretty random, like the person above said, sometimes it can happen within one minute of the previous confirmed block other times it can even take over an hour

The expected average is 10 minutes so every 2016 blocks, the difficulty is adjusted so that the block confirmation time is with in or at least close to the expected average.

Look at the most recent previously confirmed blocks... We have intervals of 2 mins, 6 mins, 25 mins, 4 mins, 17 mins. As you can see, it's random.

You literally listed the least recommended 2 factor authenticators anyone should use out there  Cheesy

The fact that your backup is stored in the cloud and the apps are not open source should be enough to keep you away from those apps when it comes to security of your accounts.
932  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] AgoraDesk.com | Buy ♻️ Sell Bitcoins Anonymously! on: May 03, 2023, 09:43:02 PM
The LocalCryptos import is impossible at the moment, unfortunately, as the reputation can't be reliably extracted due to the shutdown.
Thank you for the response.

Yeah, just checked it, and it's now completely off, which is so sad. It was still on a few weeks back. There goes my Localcryptos reputation, since I used to use it unlike Paxful and localbitcoins
933  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AntiDolos extortion/scam on: May 03, 2023, 08:29:15 PM
Not that I am a big fan of NFTs, IDOs, IEOSs ICOs… you name it, but this looks like a clear extortion attempt.

I would like @AntiDolos to come to this thread and tell us why they are asking for money in exchange for a higher review score. Failure to do so in a couple of day means I will leave them a negative rating and even create a support a flag against their profile.
934  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yas.bet Scam!? on: May 03, 2023, 11:30:37 AM
Hi, I got my money back guys. Thank you for help Smiley
Good to know that you got back your money, though they really made you to go through the pain of having to wait for a good number of months without proper explanation.
I will be removing the negative feedback and changing it to neutral for future reference
935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Promo offers from Twitter Influencers Scam ore serious offers? on: May 02, 2023, 09:31:54 PM
If someone DMs you even before you ask for any offer, then there is a very high chance that they might scam you or not give you the service you expect. Professional promoters and influencers don't go desperately lurking in people's DMs

Most of those huge accounts with huge followings just have bots as followers. The trick they use is to make fake giveaways, but in order for one to be eligible for the giveaway, they must follow the account and retweet the posts. So over time the following grows to 100K, with some people using their alt accounts to follow in hope of winning the giveaways.

Save your money.
936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What d fxxk...my money is hooked mehn on: May 02, 2023, 09:21:28 PM
I always use 15 sat/vb with no problem for all my bitcoin transactions.
That's not always the optimal fee rate. You are supposed to first check what's going on in the mempool before you broadcast the transaction
Quote
Any idea what the heck is going on?
Why the so much high fees this time?
I would say it's probably because of the Bitcoin ordinals that are spamming the mempool forcing people to use higher fee rates in order to have their transaction get confirmed in the quickest time possible.

Quote
Any idea of when my money is gonna be received?
No idea but if you used 15 sats/vbyte be ready to wait a very long time, if this goes on for more than 2 weeks, your transaction will automatically get dropped from the mempool.

Or you could just bump the fee to have it get confirmed faster

In all, suggest permanent solution to this problem for bitcoin fans if there is any.
Always check the mempool before sending out a transaction
937  Economy / Reputation / Re: Apt2022 using my video as bounty entry without my permission or consent on: April 30, 2023, 08:08:22 AM
Do you think we should give him a negative tag for using my content without permission? Coz' this is unacceptable considering my time and effort in doing this content.
Yes, tagging is more than OK. In fact, I am adding my negative tag on his profile so that it also helps warn other campaign managers in case he tries to apply for their bounties

Him stealing your content and presenting it as his in order to earn tokens is no different from someone who's a scammer

These threads might be helpful to you

3. ELI5: What is Ordinals and how they work?

They have already affected the network by bloating the bitcoin blockchain if you have been keen from the time this year started.

I see that they have a slow support and somehow i understand that but i just doesn't want that the time which has passed because they are not responding to my mails will be a issue for resolving my problem...
Hopefully the concern gets resolved. I think at the moment, they are the oldest Bitcoin mixer, It wouldn't make sense if they just decided to exit scam.
Their representative here hasn't been online since 23 April. Let give it this coming week and see how things play out.

The clearnet version of the site also seem off with the 504 Gateway Time-out error
940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What will a mixer do under the mentioned situation? on: April 30, 2023, 06:14:04 AM
This is not the case. If you operate in the USA or any EU country, or any other, you are subject to the laws and authorities of those countries.
Alright then,

Except for wasabi wallet whose coordinator zkSNACKs is a Gibraltar registered company according to multiple sources. Can you list for me among the existing Bitcoin mixers, ones that are registered with the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network? Or any other regulatory body in any country they "Operate"?
