It is legitimate and confidential until the public launch.

Thank you for confirmation TheQuin. Would you like me to delete my post? Can I PM you some questions?

No. That's OK. You didn't name the token.  Smiley

You would probably be better off emailing the address the email was sent from but I'll try to help.

Has anyone else received an email about a VIP program at freebitco.in if you buy a certain token?

The email mentions several benefits if you hold enough of this token, like extra WOF spins, higher interest on your BTC, and cashback on your multiply BTC/betting wagers.

Normally I would think this is a scam but the email seems legitimate.

It is legitimate and confidential until the public launch.

BTW now that DOGE is becoming a hyped crypto I hope Freedogecoin will come back soon  Cool  Wink

DOGE is a great coin for its pump and dump cycles but the wallet is very outdated and causes far too many support issues to run a site of that scale.

Wait, really? I had always considered that was simply a bonus that was added on top of the base 200-20-2-.2-0.02-0.002 pay structure and that it decreased each free roll you made, until it hit the lowest base amount (0.002). The bonus wording on the text does also help believe that...

If you get the low wagering reduction the is a i next to the value on the payout table and if you click it you'll be told to wager to get back to full base reward. The bonus box is about increasing beyond the base reward up to 19x added.

I do remember that sometimes during 2016/17 my base rewards were cut in half sometimes; I could have a base roll of 600 satoshis one hour, 300 for the next 2 and back to 600 then. The price wasn't fluctuating that much, but I never got any actual reply to why that was happening.

When we still had adverts on the site they paid according to your location so users in high paying areas of the world got more. The IP addresses you were using must have been listed as different counties (databases aren't 100% accurate).

So, they need to play the Multiplier and/or buy lottery tickets to counter it? Sounds fair.

Yes. That's why that is what we wrote on the page so they wouldn't need to ask.
926  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 28, 2021, 07:53:41 AM
Hey guys, quick question about referals...

I have a few refferals on my account and one of them tells me his base free roll on the faucet is always 1 satoshi less than my account. I.e. when the free roll on my account is 6 satoshi, his is 5 and when it's 7 on mine, it's 6 on his. Now, this is suprising enough on it's own but it gets weirder... One of my refferals got her own refferals and one of them only gets 2 satoshi per free roll, while me and her get 6 or 7...

Now, I was under the impression that each tier of free rolls give the equivalent fractions of $200 for the max bonus. $20 worth for 2nd highest tier, $2 worth for 3rd etc, down to $0.002 worth for the base roll. But 2 satoshi is only $0,0006666 worth... But the other tiers are normal, i.e. base roll is 2 but 2nd lowest tier give 60+...

Why it that? Any ideas?

My idea is that they should read the information mark next to it telling them what to do to increase the base reward. The low wagering reduction was a measure forced on us by the amount of multi-accounting abuse we suffer.
927  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 28, 2021, 02:50:46 AM
I've spent quite alot on FBC so I'm averaging around 50+ Sats per claim. But most importantly, let my referrals do the work Tongue

Damn, I've been on freebitcoin for a lot of time but I don't evn get near to 50/sats per hour - excluding the daily earn by interest and the 3200% bonus via RPs - how the f*** can yo uachive 50/sats nowadays? You do multiply to increase the bonus?

By wagering. The bonus box on the free btc page shows how near you are to the next bonus level. It can give a bonus up to 19x the base reward. So ATM with a base of 6 you can add 114 giving a max of 120.

Hi , Few months ago I had an account in freebitco and now I lost my email and can’t get access to it.

If you changed the profile default withdrawal address to your own wallet or previously deposited from your own wallet you can sign a Bitcoin message requesting the email address to be changed.

Can I have multiple account in freebitco with one IP address or one cellphone ?

I just searched for it in this thread and luckily I've found this reply https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg7083786#msg7083786 from wetsuit and I guess it still applies even this time. I think you can make a new one~

If you lost your old account making a new one isn't multi-accounting.

I want to know is it legal to have more than one account in your site if I don’t use them for abusing free faucet ? I just use the bet system and get reward points.
Please let me now if it is ok so I’ll make a new one and deposit my bitcoin.

At the moment it isn't prohibited in our ToS as long as it isn't abusing free rolls but we are in the process of writing a new fuller ToS that will prohibit having more than one account.

Considering there are people who invest THAT much into lottery,

They actually get for free through wagering. "Get 1 free lottery ticket and 1 reward points for every 0.00000500 BTC that you wager and 1 free golden ticket for every 0.00500000 BTC that you wager!"

My other favorite analyst is feeling bearish too:

Here's a look at the Weekly Time Frame:

~

He's looking for a dump to the 20-week MA, currently at $20,500 and rising. Scary times! Cheesy

A pro futures trader taught me that after a large breakout you should use the breakout point for the anchor of the fib retracement.

If it says above the 61,8% $28,324 then the 23.6% extension at $47,179 is the next upside target. If that fails (goes below the 61.8%) then look for the next retrace using the low of the last cycle.

Sorry but curious about the Probability fairness of the Lottery ? though year i Knew how Hard to win in Lottery because of only Luck will provide wins.
but i want to have enlightenment about this.

Because i recently wins 5000 lottery tickets and also added those freebies that i converted to ticket in which i accumulate more than 6k all in all tickets but what happen that more winners from the top 20 wins who has only hundreds.

Just a clarity will be enough , thank you.

Your win chance (probability) is stated on the page. For fairness click where it says "THIS LOTTERY IS PROVABLY FAIR!" and read how the Bitcoin network picks the winners.

I didnt get 5000 lotto tickets again but 500 plus alot of 50 outcomes is not so bad.  5000 twice in a row seems very lucky, I want 5000 golden tickets though :p
Can anyone enlighten me about lottery tickets? I started using FreeBitcoin relatively recently and did not find the information I needed in the FAQ, (I only found information about payments and account security). I see a lot of banners that link to each other, but I can't see where I can apply these lottery tickets. I got the impression that each round (295+) of the lottery is automatic (by default, all users who have tickets participate).

Click the link "THIS LOTTERY IS PROVABLY FAIR!" and there is a full explanation how it all works.

I don't recall when was the last time someone left voluntarily
Probably (or, provably) no one.
I remember Lauda left this campaign a while ago and moved to FortuneJack, but I can't find back the post.

Not just Lauda. Search through the spreadsheet for the word "left" and you'll see quite a few of us left voluntarily for our own reasons like the pressure of the day job.

I think that plan was canceled. Fees are >1 sat/byte most of the time, and even though Bitcoin prices keep increasing,

I think it will come back some point in the future for this reason.

there's no point in reducing the minimum fee as long as blocks are full.

I see a time coming where blocks are very rarely full because the cost of on-chain transactions (in fiat terms) has become so high as to push the majority to only use off-chain transactions.

Interesting! Considering the current consolidation happens at 3 sat/byte, you could probably consolidate at least everything between 20,000 and 50,000 sats at 1 sat/byte. Make the transactions separate from the higher amounts, and just keep broadcasting until it confirms.

We use a formula to calculate the fee and a percentage of the value of the input. So when the network is busy like it is now and we are sweeping at higher than 1 Sat/byte only higher value deposits are swept. eg https://btc.com/05255aa61e2ffeebdab7cd3b0899250c4f133a93f09b0b4bbdd0c67a6b981a37

50,000 Sats is the limit for a fee of 1 Sat/byte.

I checked all addresses with less than 50,000 sat. The total balance is 18,088.92659937 BTC. That means FreeBitco.in owns 1.266% of all dust.
In total, 22,918,211 addresses hold less than 50,000 sat. Assuming an even distribution, 1.226% puts you at around 290,000 inputs. This is enough to fill about 43 blocks. Assuming my estimate on the number of addresses is correct: consolidating everything at 1 sat/byte would cost 0.43 BTC, which is only 0.19% of the 229 BTC value.

I'll have to check with wetsuit but I think the even distribution isn't that even. He said the cost would be greater than 5%.
Edit:

wetsuit just clarified it. The 5% number was completely wrong, most likely a memory lapse on my part.
The 50,000 Sat limit isn't an absolute because we consolidate 50 deposits at a time (making 51 inputs) and then look at the total fee for the transaction. So looking at example https://btc.com/2694230cb67a58601b21b8038a1603f4e122a09422c005cf2a07e917bb9b1dbd
There are some at 0.00035399 because the higher ones increase the average.

The transactions are 9,850 Bytes so if they were all 50,000 the total would be 0.025 so 0.00009850 fee means 0.394% of the value would be spent. The limit on deciding to sweep or not is 0.4% of the total transaction value.

The 229 BTC is made up of 1,382,227 UTxOs. So if 50 takes 9,850 bytes that's 197 bytes each meaning 272,298,719 bytes total or minimum cost of 2.72298719 BTC.

And of course implement Segwit for future deposits Smiley

That is something I have been keen to do for a long time. The problem is that we have always said all your old deposit addresses will remain valid. We would have to run a new system alongside the old one and thus double our overheads.
936  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 18, 2021, 07:14:53 AM
That's a lot of dust (229), I wonder if there's a plan to at least manually try and consolidate all of that in stages?

The plan is to wait for the minimum mining fees to be reduced. We would pay too high a percentage of the value to move them. There was talk previously about reducing it from 1 Sat/byte to 0.1 Sats/byte. I personally think it is inevitable at some point when BTC price becomes much higher.

And if there's a plan to some day phase out legacy addresses or a way to retain old ones already given to users and give new ones only segwit.

No plans at the moment. More likely to implement Lightning Network for deposits first.
937  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 18, 2021, 04:43:13 AM
Are the info on the website incorrect? Am I simply missing something? Where is all their mining power?  Huh

Some of it is quite out of date.

I had a question about the numbers posted on the Freebitco.in website about their mining operations.
It says they are running mining equipment that outputs them 9.065 PH/s. They also provide an address (1EcH7pHYTHLo3cbdXfkf6e6Zh5JzCPGumc) with a message and signature to provide proof that they indeed hold the keys to the address.
The signature checks out.

My problem is that if I check this address I find out that what they are pulling in (on only that address) is around 0.0002 BTC per day (~10$/day which is miniscule)!
That is way less than what 9 PH/s would get you!!  Huh
9 PH/s will get you around 0.055 BTC per day (~2000$)!

Also that number (9.065PH/s), I'm pretty sure, hasn't changed since they started offering interest in their wallet!

We shut the mining down when the Bitcoin price was ~$5,000 because it had become uneconomical at the time. We'll remove it from the page.

To add on top of this, searching around in this forum I found a couple of addresses that they, in the past, have claimed they keep as  cold storage.
Those address are now empty or mostly empty (94 BTC is 3M$ but their operations seems to be way bigger than that).
The address from which they are dealing out payouts (3LaNNTg87XjTtXAqs55WV5DyWASEZizCXZ) is currently holding "only" 19 BTC...
From their "STATS" page they say they are currently holding ~1300BTC total as "USERS SAVINGS". Where are they?

The cold storage system was upgraded from Trezor to Ledger some time ago. The Ledger is an HD wallet so uses different change addresses each time so it is much more complex to show proof of funds.

3LaNNTg87XjTtXAqs55WV5DyWASEZizCXZ is one of our hot wallets we use for payouts. The other is 329koRvovTyNnd4ADrpR2uJHzXxfvKxta5.

When you deposit to us we sweep funds greater than 0.00050000 to 1Fu3iBR2EMQWeYGi3XvrPmcPUkne8ZWj9h
There is currently 229 BTC of dust deposits that haven't been swept.

That address then either funds the 2 payout hot wallets or sends it to cold storage at 3CZM2Y6AqieFZE1RAbvXYi7hExx1zSb5R1

It is when that wallet is used to fund the hot wallets that the change addresses are used. (eg. https://btc.com/35e79400c98284bf52ea791dbefb6efe38b6d32d7353eab2a239a7ff7b2c17fe)

When we remove the proof of mining information we'll replace it with a new proof of funds address. Because the funds are spread of so many addresses we'll have to move all the coins to a single address to sign a message from. Then we'll repeat that process every 6 months to show we still have it. We should be able to get that information up at the beginning of next month.

938  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 17, 2021, 02:22:48 AM
On the free email rolls on the prize wheel, if I have lottery tickets disabled but win lottery tickets on the spin, does those convert to RP or something? This happened but I wasn't able to tell if my RP balance changed because I didn't know what it was before, but I didn't get lottery tickets as a result of the spin.

The spins are shown on your roll history so you can expand them to see your balances before and after. If you win RP then your RP balances will be where bonus account balances usually are.
939  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help with resetting 2FA verification on: January 17, 2021, 01:11:10 AM
I know what a provably fair system is ofcourse but i think its impossible i didnt even receive 50% from my referrals top rewards...

That's a contradiction in terms. You can't understand provably fair and also think it is impossible that you didn't win. No outcome is impossible.
940  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help with resetting 2FA verification on: January 17, 2021, 12:24:03 AM
No, it the 2fa verification. I reset it 20x and the link freebitcoin keeps sending me is invalid links with the “ Error - Invalid value for param: number”. And there’s no way to contact anybody on the site to help me out

"Error - Invalid value for param: number” = the recovery telephone number you entered is invalid.

Usually, that's because you forgot to enter the country code. PM me your user ID or email address and the full correct telephone number.

Its not possible that in 6 years i havent received one time one of the top bonuses

Wierd really
And mostly OP just commented on top rewards

Weird that someone could be on the site for 6 years and not have worked out how to use the provably fair system to prove to themselves if it is rigged rather than just assuming it is because they didn't win.
