921  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can bitcoin withdstand the raising legal obstacle. on: February 06, 2018, 05:23:40 PM
Overall I would say only communist or dictatorship countries may impose a ban, most of the world will not.
Actually you got a point there, but there are some third world countries that already banned the use of crypto currencies,we might not see an outright ban from major economic countries but we will be having strict regulations in order to trade in the exchanges which might be a hurdle if you are planning to move fiat currency in and out of those exchanges.
922  Economy / Economics / Re: seems that China is on the move again and influence price on: February 05, 2018, 11:06:07 PM
ooks like all the bad and negative news are coming in pretty badly on a day to day basis,China did had an impact on the price of bitcoin some time back but not anymore, but these sort of negative news will pull the market down as the entire market is reacting to every news,i am sure there are more bad news in stock as we will see more regulations being implemented in bitcoin and other crypto exchanges.
923  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: February 05, 2018, 10:51:49 PM
Please add additional cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is very expensive in use.
I would really like to see them adding more crypto currencies and giving users the option which going to gamble,i hope the team will consider about it in the future as the transaction charges were going up like crazy, you need to add coins like doge for casual fans to enjoy the game while hardcore gamblers will wage with bitcoin. 924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 05, 2018, 10:40:27 PM
People had some expectation on the home team, but it was too worst performance. Never expected this kind of performance from SA team. Good come back from India after losing test series. Yes you are right I don't think SA will win at least one match in this series.
I was really shocked to see that result as i never expected to see a score like that from South Africa,i am not following cricket that much after the retirement of Sachin, but still i was impressed with the margin of win, even though they lost the test series ,it looks like they are a formidable team outside the subcontinent when it comes to the shorter version. You cannot write down South Africa just like that,it is going to be an interesting tournament.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has past few months affected your gambling? on: February 05, 2018, 10:30:05 PM
The price of bitcoin and the ever increasing transaction fees was a real pain and i completely stopped going to bitcoin based gambling sites solely because of the ever increasing price and the transaction delay and went back to fiat based sites, hopefully with the price settling down, the transaction charges will be reduced and with the segwit activation, things will be fine .
926  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 111+ BTC Jackpot! on: February 05, 2018, 10:24:07 PM
Do you know how provably fair works with dice? Basically it's impossible to cheat. Only way to cheat would be if somehow Primedice leaked its unhashed key somehow due to some exploit.

However this is very rare. This happened once last year with some ETH betting site, can't recall the name.

Basically the unhashed seed was displayed and the guy tried to cheat but got caught because every bet he made was large and resulted in 100% win rate. The admin knew something was up and froze his account.
The prime dice hack happened because he did have the key as he was testing the site before hand and they forgot to change the key and so is the reason he got away with it,but how did the said ETH sites displayed their unhashed seed,i really cannot understand that part, what ever,if you are winning big amounts of coins they team will be double checking the play and would allow you to withdraw only after verification.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC reach? on: February 05, 2018, 10:07:12 PM
I really hope that there is a major support level at $5k as i really do not want to see the price of bitcoin going down below that support level as we could see a massive sell off if that happens,it is really impossible to predict the exact nature of this situation as with every news the market is going down ,which is scary.I would like to see the price moving within a range bound rather than going down all the time. 928  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: UK banks ban crypto purchases on credit cards on: February 05, 2018, 09:45:40 PM
Now in many countries, not only in UK, people open a credit line to buy BTC, because there is a real chance to buy and wait when it goes to the moon again. Due to this, banks are in panic (little bit), but they will not fight against BTC
What do you mean by the bank will not fight against bitcoin, the banks have already banned the use of credit cards to purchase crypto currency and that includes bitcoin,  Roll Eyes with the price going up to $20k and now coming down to well below $8k is a huge difference and the banking system is afraid that the users will mess with their card investing in crypto to earn a quick profit and getting stuck.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Experts and Their Predictions on: February 05, 2018, 08:50:36 PM
It is a really interesting read and i do accept most of the things, the ICO bubble will burst and it is a matter of time that it goes down, since it is the initial stages everyone is making a good profit with it but governments around the world are cracking that and we will see some regulations taking shape that could stop ICO altogether. The price of bitcoin will not move unless these FUD news stops, until then we will have these sort of volatile market.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the possible changes will happen if the bitcoin is legalized? on: February 05, 2018, 07:09:53 PM
These are the possible changes.

Peoples Perceptions.
It can change the opinions of people about the digital currency. It is because bitcoin is consider as the father of all crypto currency.
It might change the perception of certain individuals but bitcoin is created as a decentralized currency and i do not want any government intervention in it .

Evolution of Currency.
It can change our methods of payments, billing,  buying and selling things. Even our methods of transactions will change.
Even now we can buy and sell things with bitcoin, since the transaction charges increased no is doing that now for micro transactions.

People.
We all know that money can change the people and so even the even crypto currency but it always depends on how the user will carry the bitcoin.
I really did not understand what you mean by this. Roll Eyes

Transactions.
As I said earlier, bitcoin has the power to change our currency. If our currency will be change then the modes of payments will also change. We can pay using our mobile phones directly.
Bitcoin cannot be your national currency and no government will allow that in the first place, even now you can pay with your mobile phones,it is not a new thing, there are many wallets for fiat currency too. Tongue
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle worth $50,000 solved after nearly three years on: February 05, 2018, 05:11:09 PM

932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies are not legal tender - Indian Finance Minister on: February 05, 2018, 04:43:13 PM
There were lot of excitement about the government's stance on cryptos but its not a good news for the investors. I fear what if people start diverting their money from cryptos to stock market ?
There was a lot of speculation surrounding the situation when the budget was announced that India is planning to ban the market ,either the media outlets cannot understand simple things or they just want to create a story just to manipulate the market, the arbitrary advantage in Indian exchanges are gone after the news, people are investing in crypto market in the pretext to make more money and if anyone is looking for the safest root you really cannot complain about that.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 29, 2018, 11:12:22 PM
Indeed, there are different factors which makes gambling a shameful thing (for some people) such as in the community you're living, the culture, religion and beliefs and also the legality of it. But in my opinion, it must be shameful if you became addicted to that it literally affects you psychologically
If you are playing online who is going to know about that and when it comes to online gambling it is much better as no one will track you down or you wont be having any record in your bank details if you are having troubles with the community you live.As long as you are a level headed individual there is nothing wrong in gambling.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robinhood building a platform, bitconnect getting sued and... on: January 29, 2018, 09:57:31 PM
I hope the team behind bitconnect will be punished before law and have to set an example that you cannot scam people ,if not i am sure they will come up with another scam project,it is a really good news to hear Robinhood will be introducing zero fees trading in bitcoin and i am sure they will pose a challenge to the rest of the exchanges.
935  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The scaling solution on: January 21, 2018, 10:10:20 PM
I do like Lightning Network and segwit as solutions for the scaling problem, but it seems to be taking some time and that is probably hurting our most dedicated users. Perhaps having a quick solution that is simple to implement is not that bad. May is still 4 months away and it is always possible for deadlines to increase.
I have a doubt still, will lightning network and segwit combination will be a complete solution for the scaling issues we have, after implementing are you telling that more than a couple of million transaction can be made in an hour and will be able for everyone to use on a daily basis, does these upgrade in march will be the ultimate solution,if so great,i would like to know these details.

939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: December 07, 2017, 11:54:56 PM
Hold BTC for 10 years without a care about the price.
With the price of bitcoin blowing out like this,i am not sure it will hold for ten more years, how long a price could get ,the price has grown too much in the past few months and how much a normal citizen can handle if he has any plans to invest at the moment bearing in mind the transaction charges he has to encounter and with big bitcoin price comes big transaction charges too.
940  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: India's Cryptocurrency Launched on: December 05, 2017, 02:16:14 PM
Looks like there are many scams in the Indian market and all the newbie accounts popping up with new scams ,trying to lure people. What i heard is that the said coin will be launced by the government .
