I think we're entering into the time where random coins will stop being pumped, and actual use is what will control growth. invest in things you believe in, that you see have real world use and a good team etc, and hopefully it'll go well!

There was reasons for the dip earlier, like the insane growth, then the political discussions etc! hopefully we don't have much reason to enter another dip so soon.

"Capp need only go to 0.08, is same that btc go to 18K" this isn't in any way relevant, the supply is much larger. it can't be used as an argument..

currently it's probably way too easy to leave no trail(swap to xmr for example) and then just move it to an exchange, so there's really not much hope. with the freedom of crypto, this risk is included. use a hardware wallet(trezor is open source)

if you have a recovery phrase you could hide it in a dictionary(file format), as long as you have some type of pattern. say you have 1,000 words in a file, 10 per line. Pick some type of format, say number: 2 8 (you could make it as long as you want, just for simplicity I pick 2): then maybe pick a number(or a number format), like every fifth line. on line 1, the 2nd word is your first recovery word. on line 5, the 8th word is your second word. on line 10, the 2nd word is your third.. etc obviously you can make it as advanced as you want. this way you can upload it everywhere, aslong as only you know the numbers. of course you could also just encrypt a file containing your key, using a password instead..

You should probably spend time following crypto in general, not just news, but find the up and coming crypto, follow news to specific cryptos, and time your purchases/sells. Noone can really know, unless they're a whale who'll pump the coin! (or insider info)

Anything that says get xxx% return in just blabla weeks! look up the team, do they have legit linkedin pages? do you find them on social media, do they show that they're the real team? you can also reverse image search their pictures.

do you use metamask? have you Ever entered your private key in any other site other than myetherwallet?(could still be a fake mew) but you might have yourself to blame if you entered your private key somewhere in order to gain tokens. did you have an encrypted file or did you enter it in plain text? I suggest to anyone that isn't super good with their computer security, invest in a hardware wallet. it really takes away all worry. $8000, put 0.2% into a hardware wallet and this wouldn't have happened

For me its better to hold solid coins rather than risking on investing ICOs, you can see many New ICOs after they listed in exchanges are prices below ICO price which is a very bad.. That is why i prefer investing on top coins and you gain surely as soon the market recovers
Well, in a way you can see it as: invest in more established coins = less gain invest in rather new coins = more gain invest in icos = most gain of course this is not always the case, but investing in bitcoin vs for example investing in ethereum(at the $0.3 price ico), it's a much better gain. finding good coins early is also good. but both are more risky.

Why the hell would you show your face to the whole world if you openly admit you are a scammer? Obviously they got hacked and someone is trying to damage them Because he can? Hacking all social platforms is not so easy as you think and I highly doubt that someone can hack Telegram accs of all admins in the chat. So they have done it on purpose. Good point about telegram, as someone wrote, it's probably that he was forced to change his mind.

Why was their offices empty? surely he might have gotten hunted down and claim it was a hack or something? but someone said the twitter picture is an old one, so there might be truth to it

there are so many ICOs doing Telegram bounties, technically an ICO could be a complete scam but still have thousands of users in Telegram, so measuring success by Telegram presence is not too good!

for some, $10,000 is a huge amount of money, while for others, it's nothing. and for the most it's something in between. so asking this question doesn't really make sense - is $10k something you can live without just fine? is $10k something you can't afford to lose?
if you can't afford to lose it, it's stupid to invest into something as volatile as crypto, noone knows when the next crash comes. if you can afford to lose it, then why not?

As earlier poster wrote, sounds fake - however, it's not like it's illegal to pay for porn, therefor any crypto would work just fine to use, the length one has to go to Maybe get someones real info(depends if someone used it on an exchange connected to wallet etc), is not something anyone except government could achieve, and again since it's not illegal, government won't care.
So in short: using crypto for this purpose makes sense, but why it'd be only with Verge does not.
