941  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transactions explanation on: December 27, 2020, 01:32:05 PM
In case a transaction is not processed for weeks, is it feasible that I install myself Bitcoin Core as full node and to validate the transaction myself?
From my simple explanation (I'm not expert in this), you can check the validity of the tx, whether the transaction is true or false but you can't include the tx into a block as you need to mine a block.
942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please be careful reaching out for trades on forum on: December 27, 2020, 01:05:04 PM
Just to add. Do not put any other contact details directly in your posts. Telegram ID, Email, Discord contact. Why you might ask. Anyone who reads it can then contact you pretending to be anyone they want. reserve this information for PM's
Even if someone gives, they must do their dealings throughout the forum pm system. That would prevent anyone pretending to be others. I don't directly trade with anyone who reaches my telegram. This should be practised all the time.
943  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 27, 2020, 12:53:00 PM
What about $30k by the end of this year? hotpassion have already pointed that; and it’s very likely that we will see the $30k mark this month. It was speculated though, once $25k become little sustainable, it’s going to be $30k and we already have seen the sign.
944  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: December 26, 2020, 10:39:27 PM

I have a proposal:
Hero member with 10yrs membership == Legendary  Grin

As the rank states, no need to prove anything, or ask for merit... real legend never does Wink
Some will achieve the rank by contributing to the forum while some other will achieve it by contributing half of what the Legendary did? I think that will be disrespect towards the real Legendary who will achieve by following forum requirements.
945  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Charity Funds on: December 26, 2020, 09:29:13 PM
I think XRP will be good and better than chashing it out into fiat.
XRP? I really hope you are kidding me. Have you read the recent issue with XRP? Apart from that, XRP is not even a cryptocurrency. It’s totally centralized. Why would you pick XRP? And that's not a stablecoin.
946  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin worth buying now at these prices? on: December 26, 2020, 09:10:23 PM
If you look back at the history of the bitcoin price, you will noticed that most of the ATHs were a few x from the previous one. This time, it just has broken the previous ATH but yet couldn’t make it 2x. I wouldn’t say it will hit x amount, nor I would like to say it will get dump. Both can happen.
947  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AceDBets.io on: December 26, 2020, 08:57:35 PM
When exactly your bet was counted void? After the match result?
I really see no reason to pay this; they accepted the bet, you would have lost the staked amount if you lost. You saif some of your lost bet was void too? When was they declared them void? After the match result?
948  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't this be treated as an obvious plagiarism case? on: December 26, 2020, 08:48:54 PM
No. Forum has never stated any such rules for image. A lot of people are posting images here without sources. In the case of bitcoinermatt, he has lied. While he copied, he is guilty but according to the forum rules, he isn’t. I would rather use the feedback system since he lied to the community.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No price correction for bitcoin? Did it already happen? on: December 26, 2020, 07:10:07 PM
Which correction you are expecting of? We are in a bullrun and history says, there's barely a correction occur when we are in a bullrun. I don't know how much will it rise but once it gets the top, the price will fall significantly I guess.
950  Other / Meta / Spam all over the forum on: December 24, 2020, 06:34:29 PM
I guess all of you have noticed every now and then some off topic posts are there; I noticed them in bitcoin discussion board, reputation board and probably some other boards too. What's the motive behind their posts? The spammer even not posting any link in their post; just some crap texts which I haven't found a reason for posting. Can someone point me what's going on?
951  Other / Meta / Re: Remove Signatures from Altcoin-sections on: December 24, 2020, 06:28:17 PM
That will eventually lead you to the old saying; remove signatures from the forum. Imagine altcoin section don't allow signature; there will be no less of signature spammer. Same number of participants will flood the other section and thus, question will be there- remove signature globally? But I guess theymos isn't into that. I would prefer having some more moderators for that section.
952  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin.net Scam on: December 24, 2020, 06:03:28 PM
Right after I sent the bitcoin the site went into "maintenance mode" for about 18 hours during which time I couldn't log in.  That's one hell of a welcome for a new customer.
A coincidence I guess. Binance had in maintenance mode the other day exactly when BTC started to get dumped. It happens. I had used livecoin; not many times but TBH I'm a happy customer till now.

What is going on with Livecoin?
Withdrawals suspended for most coins.
Prices of coins trading up to 700% the real price
BTC trading at 249000 USD
https://archive.is/29YXa

They had gone maintenance; probably there's a bug.

Edit- I just have noticed a few alts changed x%, I would have been a wealthy person if that's what happening  Cool

954  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to get multiple addresses belonging to the same person on: December 24, 2020, 05:43:21 PM
But what if two people use the same wallet and import private keys to broadcast a transaction?
That doesn't make the situation two wallet; it's still one wallet which includes more addresses. It's not possible to have a single tx broadcasted from two wallets.
Regarding the question- walletexplorer tries to get the connection between different addresses into single txs and tag them as addresses from same wallet. For example, if you use two input in a tx from two different addresses, it's certain that both address belong to same wallet. But one can easily pass this since there is coin control option on client.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs and Altcoins investment strategy advice for a newbie on: December 23, 2020, 07:55:37 PM
Stay away from ICOs and try to stay away from 99.99% altcoin. Most of them are shitcoin; some says other than BTC everything is shit. Still, if you are interested, there are a lot of intesresting courses in udemy which I tried recently. Try watching them. They are very good for starter.
956  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Adkinsbet not pay! 41.55 mbtc on: December 23, 2020, 07:18:25 PM
Adkinsbet don't pay cheaters and bonushunters  Smiley
Since you are cheater by yourself, you also experienced this. The frustration must be big that your honeypot is empty now.
How do you know they are cheating? You can't take the word of adkinsbet or the OP simply because they are saying that. There might be something behind the scene which needs to come on light. Nothing is proved here; who is guilty, who is not although the accusation doesn't seem like a true one.
957  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Adkinsbet not pay! 41.55 mbtc on: December 22, 2020, 06:35:44 PM
Their structure was always the same (except MishaYo, who is only doing with his account fixed matches)

Adkensbet, why are you lying?

By any chance, can it be possible that polasaz = MishaYo? They both had the same mistake when they wrote adkensbet instead of adkinsbet as you can see here MishaYo have written. It barely can be a coincedence that both the user had the same spelling error for your website.
958  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Namecheap Payment on: December 22, 2020, 06:26:25 PM
Yes, why wouldn't it? It's a normal BTC payment. They will both give you an address and amount for you to send your coins to.

But use BTCPay instead. Bitpay sucks.
Thanks, I just needed a confirmation. I have checked with BTCPay though.
959  Economy / Service Discussion / Namecheap Payment on: December 22, 2020, 06:00:21 PM
I am trying to purchase a domain through namecheap, hence funding my namecheap account. When I tried to add fund through bitcoin, it says that, it accepts payment through either BTCPay or Bitpay. I clicked to see how it works and found they shared an invoice to fund an address. I guess it should work fine even if I send from Electrum, won't it? Just a little bit confused although I shouldn't be as there's an address given and sending fund to that address means everything.
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2021/2022 going to see a huge boom and crash like 2017 and 2013 on: December 22, 2020, 05:41:43 PM
Don't call it crash, say it surviving phase of the HODLER Wink
It's very possible to have such pull back after a significant pump, in fact, a significant pump always followed by a huge dump. That's what we have been observing since the beginning. I don't expect it to reach $200k neither, nor it will be $40k anymore once it hit $200k. For now, I guess $10000 will be the lowest.
